about the author
Alex Napolitano is originally from Taranto (south Italy) and has lived in Rome and Milan. He began
playing earnestly at the age of 20 in tours throughout Italy and has since then played many
performances and received numerous recording credits during his professional career.
He is a drummer of true and deep musicality.
During his career Alex has received various international recognitions and scholarships, most
notably from Berklee and Milan, along with honors in many drums contests.
He has also toured extensively in Italy, Belgium, Malta, Spain, Romania, Switzerland,
Holland,Russia, Germany and France.

As an educator, Ale teaches in southern Italy and is one of the most prestigious teachers in
his country.
He has performed in many clinics in Italy at various music schools and has collaborated,
promoted, and organized various clinics throughout Europe with famous drummers such as Dom
Famularo, Dennis Chambers, Marco Minneman, Skip Hadden, Dave Weckl, Horacio Hernandez, Virgil
Donati, Mark Guiliana, Kim Plainfield and Phil Maturano.
