We hereby certify that Long Products as rebar steel and rod on coil materials produced
by Iron & Steel Company “HADEED” (a SABIC affiliate) using recycled scrap and iron ore.
The total recycled content per weight is 30% max. and 70% min. for iron ore.

The Iron Ore is imported from several suppliers around the world, mainly from Brazil,
Sweden, Bahrain, Oman, & India.
The Scrap consists of pre-consumer (Internal) scrap and post-consumer scrap
(External). The pre-consumer scrap is forming approximately 12% of the scrap’s weight
(or 3.6% for the total weight of steel). It generates internally through the steel making
and shaping processes. While the balance 88% (or 26.4% for the total weight of steel)
is the post-consumer scrap that locally purchased from the Saudi market.
