Neighbour Day Grants Program

The City of Whittlesea’s Community Neighbour Day Grants Program (NDGP) is a new grant
offering up to $250 available to individuals wishing to connect with their neighbours or
community to celebrate Neighbour Day during the week Sunday 26th March 2023 to
Sunday 2nd April 2023.

Eligibility

To receive this grant, you must meet the following eligibility criteria;
• You do not have any outstanding acquittals for grants with the City of Whittlesea.
• You must be over 18 to apply for this grant.
• You have successfully acquitted all grants with the City of Whittlesea
• The proposed event must take place in the City of Whittlesea. Proof of event address
will be required, if the event is not in the City of Whittlesea, you are not
eligible.
• Hold a Neighbour Day Event on the week Sunday 26th March 2023 to Sunday 2nd
April 2023.
• Some events may require Council approval. For further information please click on the

• Agree to register your event at Create Belonging | Neighbours Every Day
• Agree to provide Council creative reporting on your event (this may include a video,
photos, images, sample or testimonials – be creative!)

Proposed 2023 Neighbour Day event

Event Title *
GOLF LINKS NEIGHBOURHOOD & SURROUND

Please provide a short description of your event, how your event will connect with
your community and or neighbours. *
i WOULD LIKE TO APPLY FOR THE NEIGHBOURHOOD GRANT.
MY IDEA IS TO INVITE ALL THE RECIDENTS OF GOLF LINKS DRIVE AND SURROUNDING
NEIGHBOURS TO A FUN DAY AT THE PARK IN GOLF LINKS DRIVE.
THE DAY IS ABOUT GETTING TOGETHER AND MEETING EVERYONE IN THE STREET. A CHAT
ABOUT STARTING A WALKING GROUP AND DO SOME BOOTSCOOTIN ON THE DAY.
i WOULD LIKE TO USE THE GRANT TO DO A SAUSAGE SIZZLE ON THE DAY.
MY AIM IS FOR OUR COMMUNITY TO BE CLOSE AND WORK TOGETHER AND ENJOY MANY
MORE EVENTS TOGETHER.
