To the Management,

Thro'

The Principal

I am writing to recommend the need for a Teacher in Practice for English Literature in our
school. As the head of the English Department, I have observed that our students have been
struggling with English Literature. We believe that a Teacher in Practice would benefit their
academic progress.

English Literature is an important subject that requires a deep understanding of literary concepts,
analysis, interpretation of texts, and critical thinking skills. Our current teaching staff has been
doing their best to cover the syllabus. However, we feel that additional support is needed to
enhance instruction quality and improve our students' academic performance.

Below is a breakdown of the teachers handling the English and Literature subject workload.

A Teacher in Practice for English Literature would provide our students expert guidance and
support in their learning journey. This would include developing and implementing effective
teaching strategies, creating engaging lesson plans, providing individualized attention to students
who require additional support, and providing feedback on students' progress.
In addition, a Teacher in Practice would bring fresh ideas and perspectives to our English
Department. They would provide new insights into teaching English Literature and share best
practices with our current teaching staff.

Therefore, I strongly recommend that the administration consider bringing a Teacher in Practice
for English Literature on board for three months in term 2 to lessen the abovementioned
workloads. I believe that this would greatly benefit our students and enhance the academic
excellence that our school strives for.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Mr Omondi N. I
