Descriptive Text

1. In class XI-F4 I have lots of friends who have different physical appearances and
traits. In this class I have a friend named Alya Wahyudin. Alya is a Muslim girl who
wears a headscarf. She has a fair skin, black eyes, curly eyelashes and chubby cheeks.
Her body is plump and she is medium-height. She is a sweet girl and loves to help
others.

My next friend is Benjamin Betalim. Benjamin is a boy with glasses of our class.
He comes from Chinese descent and has white skin. His hair is black, he has black
eyes, a sharp nose and also full lips. He likes listening to songs and is a very quiet
person.

The last one is Philday Solsolay. Philday is a girl with wavy black hair, she has
brown skin, big eyes, and full lips. She is very humorous and cheerful. Those are my
friends with their own characteristics.

2. Describing My Classmate in a Dialogue

Reva: Hi Kayla!!

Kayla: Hi Reva!! Is there anything I can help you with?

Reva: Yes I’m looking for someone. Earlier I saw her drop her money in the hall and I
want to return the money. I often see you with her so I thought you are in the same
class.

Kayla: Oh yeah? Who is it?

Reva: Oh, that is the problem, I don’t know her name, she just looks familiar.

Kayla: Okay, but can you try to describe how does she look?

Reva: The thing that I remember is that she wear a headscarf.

Kayla: Oh, wait a minute, let me try to describe her and you can guess whether it’s
true or not because in my class there are only 3 female students who wear the
headscarf.

Reva: Oh my God, okay then.

Kayla: Does she wear glasses?

Reva: Oh no, I don’t think so!

Kayla: Okay, is she tall??

Reva: Not really.

Kayla: Oh, I think I know. She has a fair skin, black eyes, curly-beautiful eyelashes
and chubby cheeks. She is not very tall and has a plump body. She also wears a
headscarf of course, is it correct?

Reva: Wow, that’s exactly how she looks like.

Kayla: Ahaha if so, then the person you are looking for is Alya Wahyudin.

Reva: Oh, I see, thank you for the help and information, Kay. Then can I entrust this
money for you to give it to her?

Kayla: Yes of course why not? I’ll give it to Alya later.
