SERVER RULES ELABORATION (Funky Town)

There’s a lot of explanation here to help you better understand how things operate in this server

1). This is an English ONLY server:

- If you want to speak other languages, do it in a voice chat. (a couple of phrases here and there are
okay, of course)

- Please make sure you're still respectful of the English speaking users in VC, and vice versa.

2). Microphone/Text Spam is not permitted:

- Chat spam on this server is 7 messages in 4 seconds.

- Attachment spam in this server is 10 files sent in 10 seconds.

- Any general flooding of chat will not be tolerated, inclusive to soft spamming.

- Spamming Text walls, Copypastas, Reactions, & abusing the Quote Function and Spoiler Function isn’t
tolerated.

- Microphone spam is considered screaming / flooding voice chats to the extent that you cannot hear
others.

- Using the music bots to “ear rape” is also not permitted. Abusing this function will also result in a
punishment.

3). Racial/Homophobic slurs are not permitted on this server:

- THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO TOLERANCE FOR SLURS IN THIS SERVER.

- Bypassing slurs is also punishable. This includes replacing letters, numbers & symbols

- Baiting staff members using the spoiler function is prohibited.

- Abusing the spoiler feature to pretend you've said something you shouldn't is punishable.

4).Strong NSFW is prohibited:

- Pornography, Gore, Shock Images, Illegal Material, Hate Symbols, Lewds, etc are not permitted.

- Profile Pictures, Usernames, Emotes, Images, Links, etc. must not contain highly inappropriate NSFW
content.

- If an image contains highly inappropriate NSFW content, punishment will depend on the severity of
what’s been posted.
5). Toxicity will not be tolerated. If you're asked to stop, please stop:

- Staff are not here to punish, but please take your toxicity elsewhere or staff will take action.

- This server is a safe place for all, attempts to jeopardize that will result in punishment.

6). “Edgy” jokes are tolerated only to an extent:

- Jokes about suicide, self harm, hurting someone (yourself included) may be made, BUT Moderators will
have the authority to take action as we deem fit

-And the action may not just be a simple 15 minute mute. So if you DO make a joke about this, you better
make sure it's very funny and it is NOT INTENDED TO HURT SOMEONE (yourself included).

-Again, whether you will be punished or not, AND the severity of the punishment will be decided solely by
moderators, will be absolute, and cannot be protested against. So be careful with your jokes.

7). Non-taggable names are not permitted:

- If your name looks stupid and is impossible to be mentionable, change it or you’ll get a nickname.

- Names with slurs are also not permitted.

- Emojis are okay in your name, but don’t be excessive please.

8). Mentioning members uselessly will not be tolerated:

- If you ghost ping a plethora of users, we will not hesitate to mute you.

- Ping limit is 6 members in a minute.

9). Harassment will not be tolerated:

- Repeated actions that seriously alarm or annoy someone that serve no legitimate purpose and can
cause extreme emotional distress.

- If you're asked to stop, stop. Failure to comply will result in warn/mute

- if persistent, ban will be instilled.

10). Please use proper chats for their main intent:

- If you want to use bot commands, find that channel. If you want to self promote, find that channel.

- We don't want to reiterate this rule, just abide by this please.

11). No Doxxing/I.P. Grabbing of any kind:

- Any Address, Phone Number, Email, or I.P. in chat will result in immediate action.

- If you post a fake I.P. such as “420.69.69.360” obviously that’s satire, but you need to understand that
we take any personal information seriously.

- If something is not obvious that it’s fake, you need to specify so.

- Don’t dox anyone please.

12). Recording people without their consent in chat will not be tolerated:

- As per California State Law stated in Discord ToS, please don't record voice channels without the
express consent of the other people in the voice channel with you.

- California's wiretapping law is a "two-party consent" law. Meaning, it is a crime to record or eavesdrop
on any confidential communication, including a private conversation or telephone call without the
consent of all parties to the conversation.

13). DM Advertising/Profile Advertising is not permitted:

- If caught self promoting in user's direct messages, you will be temporarily banned from the server

- We have a self promoting channel, be active enough and you'll gain access to the channel.

- Using your name to promote a discord server is not permitted.

- Having a discord server link in your profile is permitted, BUT actively pointing members to
your profile if you do is not permitted.

14). “Punishment hoarding” will not be tolerated:

- Defined as "doing dumb shit to get staff angry."

- Staff don't want to punish as is and are members of the server too. Please refrain from wasting their
time or you'll be removed from the server.

15). Alternative accounts are not permitted:

- You cannot have multiple accounts on this server, the accounts will be banned.

- IF CAUGHT PROTECTING THE IDENTITY OF SOMEONE BANNED ON AN ALT, YOU WILL BE PUNISHED.

16). Roles will not be reimbursed upon leaving & rejoining;

- If you choose to leave this server and rejoin later, the only roles you will be given back are your XP roles
from the bot. Any role you have will be gone forever unless you have some legitimate reasons for why
you left (may still be rejected).

- Understand that saying you “needed a break from the server” isn’t sufficient reason, thanks for
understanding.

17). Epileptic sensitive imagery/sounds, Jumpscares of any sort,etc. care:

- GIFs, Images, Videos, and Emotes that have flashing lights will not be tolerated without a written
warning and a SPOILER tag (if possible)

- We all like to laugh at loud = funny, give us a heads up please.

- If you fail to give a heads up "LOUD SOUND [sound.mp4]", you will be punished.

- This rule is to legitimately protect other member’s health, respect it.

18) For server boosters and supporters:

- Your support is genuinely appreciated, however this does not exempt you from the rules.

- Although you are a supporter and receive benefits in the Discord server, this does not warrant abuse of
image permissions, voice chat permissions, etc.

- You pay for a service / privilege, please do not ruin it for yourself or others.

19) Extra information pertaining to Server Rules:

While the following numbers are exact, if you are caught consistently skirting these by a tiny margin,
you will still be punished

- Chat spam = 7 messages sent within 4 seconds

- Attachment spam = 10 files sent in 10 seconds

- Mention spam = 7 mentions in 6 seconds

- Allowed links = reddit.com, youtube.com, youtu.be, twitch.tv, discordapp.com, google.com, tenor.com,

facebook.com, instagram.com, twitter.com (you can send if you have appropriate permissions)
- Warn Threshold = Muted on your 3rd warning

- Don’t advertise your own discord server in this server.
