INTRODUCTION

This book deals with the most important Vastu Shastra tips. Vastu is a
science its proven so making a building or house as per Vastu is most
important. Vastu Shastra deals with positive and negative energies. Making a
house plan as per Vastu rules and regulations is the must. Knowing a Vastu
Shastra is the most useful thing. Here I describe some important Vastu
Shastra tips. I hope this tips will be more useful to people who plan to build a
house or building, and who live in a house that not built according to Vastu
they can learn from this book to know some tips and change their house as
per Vastu. I thank people who buy this book and learn some Vastu tips from

Important tips:

Main entrance of a house in north and east direction is so good.

Keeping entrance in all four directions is so good it gives a rich life.

Keeping entrance in south side is very bad.

Building a house or building in square or rectangular shape is good.

Master bedroom should be in the southwest direction, other bedrooms

can make in north, west, south, northwest directions.

Old age people can stay in the northeast bedroom, but don't keep any
weighted objects in that direction.

Northeast corner always should be neat and clean.

Placing east room as a study room for kids is good.

Must avoid bedroom in a southeast direction.

Don’t place a bed under a beam.

Place a bed little far from wall avoid the bed touching wall.

While sleeping keeping head in south and east direction is so good.

Must avoid keeping head towards north direction while sleeping.

We can place money keeping a box in the bedroom in the southwest

direction.

When opening a locker of money box that door can face whether east
or north direction is good.

Toilets should place in north, west, northwest and south directions.

One should sit on the toilet facing towards south and north direction.

The kitchen must be in a southeast direction, in the second option we

can make kitchen in a northwest direction.
Women should stand facing east and cook is a must.

Must avoid south facing cooking it’s so bad.

The kitchen should not be placed in a northeast direction.

Keep the gas in southeast corner in the kitchen.

Don’t keep any medicines inside kitchen it attracts negative energy into
your house.

Dining room in the west direction is good other than that north, east
and south is the second option. Placing dining near the kitchen is good.

Dining hall should always be spacious and comfortable.

While eating once head should be facing east is so good and head
facing north and west also good.

But no one's head must not face towards south that is not good. It may
cause small disputes among the members of the family.

East, north or west walls are best for doors of the dining room, must
avoid door in south wall.

Square or rectangular dining tables are good, must avoid circular, oval
or any other shapes of the dining table.

Place a mirror in east or north direction wall, west wall also good but
must avoid the south wall.
Placing mirror must be at least 3feet higher from ground level.

Must hide and keep dustbins in rooms.

Puja room can place in northeast, southwest, south, west, north and east
direction.

God idols facing east direction is good.

Don’t keep god idols in-front of puja door.

Don't keep broken idols in the puja room.

Place a wall clock in east or north direction wall, west wall also good
but must avoid the south wall.

Keeping hall, portico in the northeast is good.

Stairs can keep in the northwest, southeast on the east side, southwest
in south and west side is good.

Keeping stairs in the clockwise direction is good.

Steps from east to west, north to south is good.

Keep the number of steps in odd number. Odd number ending with zero
not considerable.

Must repair broken stairs immediately, it may cause an accident and

mental tension.

Stairs should not be in the northeast corner.

Keeping rainwater harvesting in northeast direction is good.

Extension of northeast direction is considered as good as per Vastu.

If the mountain is there in southwest, south, west direction of the house

is good.

If the river, a lake is there in northeast, north, east direction of a house

is also good.
A bore well, underground water tank and well should place in the
northeast direction, other directions are not good.

Septic tank can place northwest on the north side of the house.

While constructing a house northeast direction should larger than

southwest direction.

While start constructing a house start work from southwest direction is

good and finish work in the northeast corner.

Southwest direction always higher than northeast direction, so keeping

overhead water tank in southwest direction is always good.

Always check southwest direction wall in 90 degrees straight.

The doors and windows in north and east direction are more than south
and west direction.

When comparing other doors the main door must be large in size.

Keeping TV and computer in southeast direction is good.

Cupboards can place in the south, west and southwest direction is good.

House or compound wall should not be bend in the northeast corner.

Placing tulsi plant in northeast direction is good.

Placing money plant in southeast direction is good, it gives good health,

wealth and prosperity.
Placing lucky bamboo sticks in southeast direction is also good this
also gives good life, healthy, wealthy and prosperous life.
Place fish tank in the south-east direction this gives you prosperity.

Keep a lemon in a glass of water and change it every Saturday, lemon

having the power to observe negative energy.

Fill a salt in a small plate-like pyramid and keep a lemon on top of salt,
change this lemon and salt every Friday, salt and lemon observe
negative energies.

Keep Swastik and Om symbol in front of the main door.

Don’t plant long trees on northeast direction.

Tress can plant in the southwest direction.

Plants can place in the northeast direction.

Don't keep plant pot on the compound wall of the house in a northeast
direction.
Don't cut long tress from the southwest direction.

Fridge, grinder and other electrical things can place in the southeast
direction.

Must avoid main gate, doors, opening, portico and well in the
southwest direction.

Airflow comes inside a house should be from northeast direction.

Well, in front of the main door is so bad.

We can buy neighbour land from northeast direction but don't buy
southwest land if you got that land free of cost must avoid.

In any situation don't separate or divide a house into two parts.

If planning to build two house together first start from south or west
direction then start second house construction work in a north or east
direction.

If build two houses in the same land then a house in northeast direction
is lower than a house in the southwest direction.

If planning a house to reconstruct or fixing damaged portion in a house

you can do work slowly but never stop that work once you start for any
reason.

Don’t use old steel rods or old bricks or any old things for construction.

Opposite house main door and our house main door must not face
together.

Doors in a house should open inside and windows in a house should

open outside.
Doors should open smoothly without a noise.

A number of doors and windows should be in even numbers like 2, 4,

6, 8, etc.., but it should not end with zero like 10, 20, and 30.

The maximum number of doors and windows should be in north and

east direction is good comparing to south and west direction in a house.

Don't place photos like eagles, war battle, horror, fight like that.

Keeping photos like river falls, seven running horse, cow, elephant, and
natures is good this attracts positive energies and give good wealth and
peace.

Keeping nameplate outside of a house attracts health, wealth and

prosperity.

Don’t keep broken photos, broken glass or wall clock inside a house
must replace it soon.
If wall clock stops better repair it soon.

If water flows from pipes in the toilet, kitchen or any other place in a
house must repair immediately.

Always doors and windows should be neat and clean.

Making basement floor in east and north is good but avoid south and
west direction.

Paint colour also a most important thing in Vastu.

Light blue in northeast, white or light blue in east, pink, orange, or

silver color in southeast, green in north, white, light grey or cream color
in northwest, blue or white in west, peach, biscuit color, mud color or
light color in southwest, red or yellow in south is good.
Master bedroom in southwest should be painted with blue colour,
guest, kids or drawing room in northwest direction should be painted
with white colour is good.

Kitchen room in southeast direction should be painted with orange or

red colour, bathroom in northwest direction should be painted with
white colour is good.

Hall in northeast or northwest should be painted with yellow or white

colour.

Mostly prefer light shaded colours don't choose dark shaded colours.
