Survey, Monitoring & Inspection


‹ Internal inspection, and monitoring
z Inspection of internal corrosion is carried out in order to
confirm the integrity of the pipeline system, primarily by
means of in situ wall thickness measurements.
z The objective of monitoring internal corrosion is to
confirm that the fluid remains non-corrosive or, more
often, to assess the efficiency of any corrosion
preventive measures, and accordingly to identify
requirements for inspection of corrosion.
