Clozapine:
Anti-cholinergics Atypical or 2nd generation: Last drug of choice
 Anti-cholinergic effect: blocks the Agranulocytosis
neurotransmitter acetylcholine at the Risperdal (risperidone) Constipation
muscarinic receptor site. Zyprexa (olanzapine)
 Anti-cholinergic effect reduces extra- CloSyn/Clopine (clozapine)
pyramidal effect BUT results in other Seroquel (quetiapine)
side effects: Solian (amisulpride)

o Nausea
o Postural hypotension
o Drowsiness
o Dry mouth
o Photosensitivity
