INSTRUCTION:
The electronic Aircraft Technical Log (eATL) System comprises of the eTechlog and eCabinlog applications
used for recording aircraft defects.
The eATL is the main device where the eTechlog and eCabinlog applications are installed.
The eCML is the companion device where the eCabinlog application is installed.
The eCML is intended for use by SCCMs to review and report cabin and
IFE defects. The eCML device connects to the eATL device and any
cabin/IFE defects raised will be sent to the eATL device for the
Commander to review.
The eCML is progressively being rolled out across all in-service aircraft
and is planned to be completed December 31, 2023. It will be stowed on
the flight deck, together with the eATL device.
SCCM Responsibilities:
Pre-flight, the SCCM shall retrieve the eCML from the flight deck as soon they board the aircraft and
check:
- eCML has sufficient battery power
- eCML is paired with the eATL
If required, charge the eCML using any available power outlet in the flight deck or the cabin. (Maintenance
personnel are responsible for charging the eCML while the aircraft is on ground.)
After landing, and before leaving the aircraft, SCCM shall ensure that the eCML is returned to the location
on the flight deck.
Notes: If there is no defect to be raised on a particular sector, a ‘NIL’ defect entry is not required.

Cargo Aircraft:
An eCML device will not be loaded on cargo aircraft. All the cabin defects will be recorded in the eCabinlog
application within the eATL device by the Commander. In the event the eATL device is INOP, the paper ATL
will serve as back-up.
Feedback:
Mandatory feedback is no longer required however should any Flight Crew or SCCM
wish to provide feedback, the eCabinLog Feedback Form may be completed by
clicking here or by scanning the QR code.
FOLLOW UP PLAN:
The information will be incorporated in the next revision of the OM-A / SEPM.

INSTRUCTION:
The following process shall apply for handing over any left behind items found by the cabin crew:
Passenger left behind items:
1. The item shall be handed over to the Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM) who shall complete and
attach the EY Found Property tag.
2. The SCCM shall hand over all found passenger items to the Cabin Cleaning Supervisor.
3. If the Cabin Cleaning Supervisor has not arrived by the time the crew have to leave the aircraft, the
SCCM shall take the found passenger items to the CBC, deposit it in the Lost & Found lockers at CBC
Arrivals and leave the key in the Key Drop box.
4. Should cabin crew locate passenger items such as travel documents and medication, and the Cabin
Cleaning Supervisor is not present, SCCM to hand over the item/s to the Aircraft Dispatcher. If the
Aircraft Dispatcher is also not available, SCCM to follow the process described above (item 3) and in
addition, inform the Crew Briefing Officers (CBO) of the details and the locker number.
The CBO will contact the Cabin Cleaning team to arrange for immediate collection.
Crew left behind items:
1. The item shall be brought to the CBC and handed over to the CBC Arrivals security personnel before
clearing eGate.
2. Log entry with the CBC Arrivals security personnel.
SCCM shall highlight the contents of this bulletin during the pre-flight briefing.
FOLLOW UP PLAN:
The information will be incorporated in the next revision of the CSIM.
