ndral was a monk and devoted to a life serving the Morning

Lord.

He came to the village of Vallaki and took residence in some old

ruins and began holding services to the Morning Lord, for any
villagers who wish to attend. Over the decades he turned the ruins
into a sanctuary for those looking to serve the Morning Lord.

When Prince von Zarovich became a vampire, a couple dozen of

his own guards turned and tried to kill him. The Prince managed to
hunt down a couple of these guards and learned many of them fled
to Vallaki where Andral took them in.

The vampire prince came to Andral and attempted to charm him,

to allow the prince to enter the ruins that served as Andral’s home
and a place of worship, to apprehend the guards and kill them.
However, Andral miraculously withstood each attempt the vampire
prince made to charm him.

Andral declared that so long as he remained in his home, those

with him would be safe from the vampire prince. Andral and the
guards ended up living out the rest of their lives in Andral's home,
never once leaving. They grew their own food lived entirely
communally. Eventually, they all grew old and passed away.

The land and the old ruins became Hallowed ground following
the death of Andral. The home and old ruins were built upon,
creating the Church of St. Andral. Andral’s garden, now serves as
the Church’s graveyard.

St. Andral’s remains provides sanctuary and Hallowed ground.

Vampires, demons, and the undead cannot enter the church or
graveyard, protected by St. Andral's remains.
