    Jawbreaker Candy

    Jawbreaker Candy is a lovely triangle shawl that is knit sideways, with a Yarn – Madelinetosh ASAP
    curve to it.
    Needle – 17 us (12.75 mm) or what you need to get gauge
    Gauge – 7.0 stitches = 4 inches
    This can easily be adjusted to any weight and amount of yarn.
    Yardage – 180 yards
    This is named after Jawbreakers candy, better known as gobstoppers. Size – 80” x 32” (Adjustable)

    Cast on 2 stitches
    Row 1: (RS) KFB, knit 1 3 stitches
    Row 2: (WS) KFB, KFB, knit 1 5 stitches

    Row 3: (RS) KFB, knit to the last 2 stitches, K2tog


    Row 4: (WS) Knit 2, purl to the last 2 stitches, PFB, knit 1
    Work rows 3 and 4, 6 times total 11 stitches

    Row 5: (RS) KFB, knit to the last 2 stitches, K2tog


    Row 6: (WS) Knit 2, purl to the last 2 stitches, PFB, knit 1
    Work rows 5 and 6, 3 times total

    Row 7: (RS) KFB, knit 1, (YO, K2tog) repeat to the last 2 stitches, K2tog
    Row 8: (WS) Knit 2, purl to the last 2 stitches, PFB, knit 1

    Work the directions in the box to desired size

    Work rows 5 and 6, 2 times total

    Row 9: (RS) KFB, (Knit 1, purl 1) repeat to the last 2 stitches, K2tog
    Row 10: (WS) (Knit 1, purl 1) repeat to the last 3 stitches, knit 1, PFB, purl 1
    Row 11: (RS) (Bind off row) Bind off in pattern, (Purl 1, knit 1), be sure to keep it loose.

    Finishing
    Weave in ends, block and enjoy!

    K2tog – Knit 2 stitches together Pfb – Purl in the front and back of the same stitch YO – Yarn Over
    Kfb – Knit in the front and back of the same stitch WS – Wrong Side RS – Right Side
