MIL-STD-6866, dated 29 November 1985, is hereby canceled aid replaced by American Society for Testing and
Materials Standard ASTM E1417–95a entitled “Practice for Liquid Penetrant Examination.” CAUTION: The
information is valid as of the date of this notice and may be superseded by subsequent revisions to ASTM E14 17–95a.
