2) Purpose
The equipment is to acquire tomographic images of teeth, jaw, oral structure
and panoramic etc. by transforming x-ray exposed signals to digital signals for
diagnosis purposes.

serious damage to the properties, or fire.

3) Danger
(1) This device’s position beam can cause impaired vision. Do not aim
position beam direct to patient’s eyes and guide patient not to look at
the position beam.
(2) Do not put anything in radius of the device movement. That can
cause a danger or damage of device during scanning.
(3) Do not place flammable materials or volatile materials near the
device.
(4) Stop the device by pressing emergency switch when it occurs
problem during scanning.
(1) Staff must obligatorily provide protection material such as lead apron
to patient when they are scanning image.
(2) Frequent exposed to X-Ray can cause cancer and various diseased.
So staff must protect themselves by lead apron or lead protect.
(3) Staff must keep the distance at least 2meters (7ft.) from focus and
X-Ray to hand exposure switch.
(4) The device must locate inside of shield room and staff should keep
eyes on scanning through outside window.
The law relate to Radiation Safety and Protect is different for each
Country. User must observe the Law of Radiation Safety and Protect for
their own country.

Memory function uses pre-saved kV and mA values so additional
information change is not required for another scanning process.
Select pre-saved kV and mA. These values are selected and
saved after considering patient’s type.

① Panorama Scanning
From the CDX-View <Picture #1>,, select Panorama images and
then press “Acquire” button(①), or click double click any empty
space ( , ②), the screen will be showed up as <Picture2> and the
user can take a new Panorama image. Also the user can save an
acquired image as <Picture3>.

When the user scans a new image, the screen will be showing up
as<Picture 3>. In the case of TMJ mode, expect for an acquired
image, the window will be the same as Panorama.

B. When user clicks mouse’s right button, the screen will beturned
up as <Picture 2>. At this stage, click “Acquiringnew images
(TMJ mode)”.

C. When the program runs just as the following <Picture 3>, press
hand switch for scanning. TMJ scanning will be completed by
scanning patient twice. For the first scanning, ask patient to
close his/her mouth, and ask patient to open his/her mouth for
the second scanning.
E. After the scanning process, the user can get the window same
as the <Picture 4>.

B. Displaying the image
C. Brightness adjustment
The image can be adjustable for supporting judgment of the
image by film color.
D. Flash
Image processing can be partly applied. The result of the image
processing can process image more in detail like <Picture 4>
depends on the flash size and flash zoom.

Above <Picture 5> shows that the entire imaging process menu
is the same in CDX-View expect for “drawing” and “implant”
menu.

F. Implant
An implant simulation, such as drawing and other efficient
functions are available in CDX-view program before
implementing the implant surgery.

Choose a site falling within the following temperature and humidity
ranges.
■ Temperature: 10 ~ 40℃
■ Humidity: 95%
⑥ Storage Requirements
■ Temperature: -10 ~ 50℃
■ Humidity: 20 ~ 95%
■ Atmospheric pressure: 600~1060Hpa
(2) Maintenance after use
① The device should be cleaned for the next use. Contaminated
materials are wiped with chemical solvents.
Allowed chemical solvents for disinfection
: Acetylene, Butyl Alcohol, Ethanol 96%, Methanol, Soap
Restricted chemical solvents for disinfection
: Benzene, Acetone, Acetic Ether
2) Maintenance, Warranty
(1) Maintenance
This device is designed to improve customer satisfaction with
supreme functions. To makre sure its safe operation, we recomment
a periodic inspection at least for one time per year.
① User managment
If problems are occurred, please immediate contact your local
distributor of PointNix Co., Ltd for further instructions.
② User inspection
User is asked to inspect these details in below every
month.(Monthly inspection is required for this information in below.)
■ Check if Ready button should be ON within two minuted after
power is connected.
■ Check signal sound is normally working while scanning.
■ Check all lampes in control panel are ON.
■ Check all buttons in control panel are working properly.
3) Waste/Deliver
(1) Waste
This device is basically designed to saftely use and dispose of
device to reduce the environmental pollution. Except X-ray
tube and such a several part, exterior and interior part is
possible to recycle as following use.
All the part or component that inculdes dangerous substance
must be seperatly disposed by regulating laws.
