1906 - First Civil Disobedience Movement against Asiatic Ordinance in
Transvaal.

1915 - Arrived Bombay, foundation of Satyagraha Ashrama.

1917 -Champaran Satyagraha for Tinkathia System (Indigo Planters). It was
his 1" Civil Disobedience Movement in india.

1918- Ahmedabad MillStrike , 1 Hunger strike & 11th March - khe da(Gujrat)
Satyagraha (Sardar Patel) because of failure of crops ( 1* Non-Cooperation
Movement)
1919 - Frst All India Movemnent against Rowlatt Act on 6 April, 1919
Returned Kaiser-i-Hind against Jallian wala Bagh Massacre
AllIndia Khilafat Conference President
1920-22- Non-Cooperation Movement & Khilafat Movement ( withdrewnon
cooperation movement after Chauri-Chaura incident on 12 Feb 1922 )
1924 - Belgaum (Karnataka) Session of INC. It was the first & last time he was
elected president of INC

1925-27 - Retired from active politics and devoted himself to "constructive

programme" and resumed active politics in 1927
1930-34 Civil disobedience Movement. Dandi March ( 12h March- 6th April,
24 days), Salt Satyagraha. Dandi March started with only 78 people
1931- Gandhi-Irwin Pact (5th March)

1934-1939 - Again retired and resumed active politics, set up Sevagram (Vrdha
Ashram)
1940-41 - Individual Satyagraha
1942- Quit India Movement, slogan "do or die", arrested on 9th August
1948- Shot dead by Nathu Ram Godse, at Birla House, died saying "hey ram".
