Fitting cable harness in dashboard 1 Fabricate cable harness set according to diagram or
example. (Diagram on 6.0 and 7.0)

2 Fit cable harness in the dashboard, remove cubby If the panel at the
hole and position switch panel with switches in this bottom left already
location. has more than 2
switches, seek a new
location in another
panel.
A location to the right
of the steering wheel
is also acceptable.
3 Fit the relay in the electrical unit at an unoccupied
position.

4 Replace existing 20 A fuse at position 17 with a 10 A

fuse.

5 Run the wires with the cable harness.

Replace straps where necessary.
Wires may not be in contact with sharp parts.
Apply protection where necessary.

Starting SDP3 and BICT 1 Connect the VCI cable to the OBD connector. Truck ignition
switched on
2 Start SDP3.

3 Go to ‘Controls and adjustments’.

4 Go to

5 Click ‘Calibrate’.

6 Click ‘Start wizard’ from the line ‘Edit BIC programs’.

The BICT program now starts automatically.

diagrams in the BCI system.
