 In connection with the 5 - DAY SCHOOL-BASED LAC SESSION ON LITERACY


INSTRUCTION and 3B’s Approach in teaching on December 14-18,2020 the SMET
Coordinator with the members of the team planned out and tackled the following:

7. Objective of the LAC Session
 To Improve the Reading and Comprehension Skills as well as the Numeracy Skills
of the learners
 To construct Reading passages in both English and Filipino with at least 10 items
questions should be provided to Grade 4-6 learners to enhance their reading and
comprehension level.
 To conduct Quarterly Numeracy test as well should be conducted to Grade I-VI
Grade 1- Addition (10 items) per quarter
Grade 2- Addition and Subtraction (10 items) per quarter
Grade 3- 4 fundamental operations (10 items) per quarter
Grade 4- 4 fundamental operations (15 items) per quarter
Grade 5-6- 4 fundamental operations (20 items) per quarter
 Numeracy Test questionnaires will be checked and consolidated by the Master
Teacher and School Head.
 Home Learning Facilitators will be oriented by the teachers with the process in
conducting the numeracy test since face to face learning is not yet possible.
 3 B’s Approach should be implemented.
