Dear Mayor,
This is to formally bring to your attention the serious drainage problem we
have at the corner of Calle Governor Reyes and Calle Governor Luna. Our
residence Casa Maria is overwhelmed by sewage water during the rainy season.
Added to that the wastewater coming from the restaurant’s Six Bros, Sanitary,
Tessie’s, and Dominga Eatery causes lard accumulation in the canals for their
presumed disposal of used cooking oil straight into the city’s waterway. A quick
overview reveals the amount of disposed cooking oil amassed in the canal
I visited the Vigan City Engineering Office and was given the assurance that
they would come to immediately inspect and effect a quick resolution to the
problem.
