Responsibilities for safety consultant

Provide inspections, observations and feedback to any location on any safety


related topic, issue, concern, problem or recommendation
Supporting project managers in requested activities such as research for
information, writing reports
Configuration of aggregate reports such as, PADER, DSUR, CSPR
Development of requirements, design documents based on discussion with
customer
Coordination with migration & validation track of the project
Producing safety processes and document these in safety management plans
Producing safety technical analyses
Producing safety justifications
Creating appropriate safety culture within team
Interfacing with project teams and client safety managers

Qualifications for safety consultant

BS/MS in safety, engineering, occupational health, or related science degree


Ability to work with all levels of management and employees to promote a
culture of safety
Recognized technical expertise by and established reputation in the local
marketplace
4 or more years of professional consulting experience involving
4 or more years Software Development and Relational Database Experience –
preference will be given to candidates with experience of working in a
professional software R&D department
Experience leading and managing teams, specifically providing short- and
long-term business vision, technical leadership and direction, and mentoring
individuals to achieve their full potential
