A meeting of the Ewing Township Environmental Commission (EEC) was held on the
evening of Tuesday, April 17, 2007 in the Ewing Township Municipal Complex.
The notice requirements provided for in the Open Public Meetings Act have been
satisfied. Notice of this meeting was properly given in the resolution by the Ewing
Township Council on January 3, 2007 which was transmitted to the Times of Trenton and
The Trentonian, filed with the Clerk of the Township of Ewing and posted in the Ewing
Township Municipal Complex, all on January 4, 2007.
MINUTES APPROVAL:
The minutes of the February 20, 2007 meeting were approved on a motion by Rus,
seconded by Erin. The vote was unanimous.

(third) and there were wetland issues with the site. Erin also stated that a third
“steep slopes” site was discussed. She stressed the need for a Steep Slopes
Ordinance. Erin discussed the need for follow up on commitments made by
developers. The EEC agreed there is a need to track these commitments. Erin will
identify such sites to the ECC and then the EEC will request it be included on the

status with the new administration.

an overview to the Recreation Commission and gained a vote of support for the
project. Aimee Williams from the D&R Greenway Trust also attended and
