Sentient. The blade mysteriously houses a mind and personality of its
own though it is bonded to a chosen user telepathically, though can
choose to speak to others telepathically as well.
The blade can choose to telekinetically move around at will and can be
commanded by its master to take action and attack as a separate entity
on its initiative.
Blade Of Radiance. This special blade contains the celestial force akin
to the energy of a powerful star, constantly erupting with solar energy.
This sword deals an additional 2d8 force or radiant damage (your
choice) with each hit. The damage increases by 1d8 every odd level
after 5.
Solar Eruption. Upon hitting a target, you can use your bonus action
and store part of the solar energy from the blade, in the wound of your
target. Thus, the target must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving
throw or immediately take an additional 4d8 force or radiant damage.
You then choose a number of rounds (up to a maximum of 5) after
which the energy in the wound should erupt. The target has to roll a
Constitution saving throw every round until then, ending the effect on a
success. When the energy erupts, every creature 20 feet around the
target has to succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or else take
4d8 force or radiant damage and additionally 2d8 for every round you
have waited since the initial attack.
Once you have used this feature an amount of times equivalent to your
proficiency bonus you cannot do so until the next dawn.
