ABSTRACT
Our objectives are to determine what causes students to procrastinate (distractions) and which set up they
prefer. The significance of this topic is it helps students figure out which set-up works better for them and
also helps teachers to understand their students better. Excessive screen time late at night may disrupt sleep
for students. Procrastination is a common self-regulation failure that affects one-fifth of the adult population
and half of the population of students. Using the Wheel of Names, we chose our interviewees for the
research. Five students per grade level and all 12th graders were interviewed. Following the interview, we
collected all of our data for analysis, and we came to the conclusion that the majority of high school kids
favored one particular set up over another.
