In this activity, you will identify the different factors/characteristics of your chosen city and explain why
your chosen city should be considered a GLOBAL CITY?

Choose one city from the following (Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Toronto, Sydney,
Taipei, and Seoul).

Tokyo should be considered as a Global City, Japan is one of the leading country when it comes
to technological innovation, and Tokyo is its capital, making Tokyo technologically more advance
compared to other cities around the world. Tokyo can also be considered as a hub of finance,
commerce, and innovation because of the many organizations that are in Tokyo and have a big influence
on the global economy. Tokyo also has powerful influence on social media outlets with international
reach, resulting to their culture being known and imitated by cities not just in japan but also in cities
around the world.
