Related Incident
This incident is related to the landslide happening in Haputale area due to heavy rainfall. Several
landslides have been reported in Haputale, Beragala, and Haldummulla due to the monsoon rains that
have been falling for several days. At the same time, streams of water have started flowing along the
Badulla-Colombo main road. Also, houses and shops on both sides of the road have been damaged
due to the falling of large rocks. Any personal accidents or loss of life are not reported yet. And
Badulla-Colombo main road has been subjected to interruptions of transportation due to rock falls.

• Program Presenting

Topic – With Her

"With Her" is a series of programs presented by a duo on the "J’PURA VOICE" YouTube channel.
You are to present the first installment of the series. Both of you are announcers in this program.
"Her" in "With Her" refers to a courageous woman who at a time when both local and foreign
investment businesses were facing severe challenges due to the huge economic crisis in Sri Lanka,
identified a new business opportunity and thereby helped to build not only her own economy, but also
the Sri Lankan economy through foreign exchange. Today, this young and friendly character who can
explain her personality, social responsibilities, and exemplary life experiences to women who are
currently suffering from unemployment and facing huge economic problems, especially those living
in a rural environment, is invited to the studio.
Joining this first installment is Mrs. Inoka Gunawardena, the owner of "Inoka Dry Agro (Pvt)Ltd"
who started the business as a self-employment and now helps 40 other families to improve their
livelihood by exporting dried vegetables, fruits, and medicine.
