    To set up the ChefTab, install the memory card, connect the bump bar, HDMI cable, Ethernet cable, and keyboard and mouse. Access the MGR menu, enter the password 9999, go to Network Settings, and select either Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Note the IP address and add the ChefTab as a printer in the back of house, entering its name and IP address. Set the receipt printer and ensure the ChefTab is enabled. Assign a master iPad for the ChefTab to print from any device in the restaurant.

    SETTING UP CHEFSTAB

    Install the Memory Card

    Connect the bump bar


    Connect the HDMI to a monitor
    Connect the Ethernet Cable
    Connect a Keyboard and mouse (only needed during setup)

    With click the MGR Menu in the top right corner, click unlock and enter the password (9999)
    Select CheckTab Settings / Preferences
    Navigate to Network Settings

    Select Ethernet or Wifi

    Once you make a selection it will take you to blue screen to selct and see your IP address.

    Hit ESC on bump bar to get out this.


    Note the Bumb Bar

    Add the ChefTab as a printer in the BOH

    Enter a Name

    Enter the Ip Address Chef Tab is located

    Receipt needs to be set any Epson Printer

    Be sure to set it as enabled.

    And then you need to set a Master Ipad.


    This can be any iPad in the restaurant. The Chef Tab will still printer from any iPad.
