 The Delhi government will be sending
elderly pilgrims for Jagannath Puri Yatra in

Entrepreneurship University on July 6,
2022 to improve the skills of construction
workers.
 Mission Kushal Karmi programme has
been started with the objective of providing

on-the-job skill development training to
around 2 lakh registered construction
workers in a year.
 Training would be provided for 15 days or
120 hours at their workplaces.
 During the training period, government will
also compensate for the wage loss.
 Government will provide all the
construction workers an amount of Rs
4,200 each.
 In order to prevent drop-outs after two
years when COVID-19 has disrupted the
teaching and learning process, the Tripura
state’s Education department will again
launch the ‘go to school’ programme with a
new scheme ‘earn with learn’.
 The department will conduct
comprehensive door-to-door surveys to

degree colleges to enroll their final year

 The police app is an integrated version of
five online services such as Gaura Shakti,
traffic eye, public eye, Meri Yatra and
Lakshya Nasha Mukt Uttarakhand,
provided by the State police.
 All the online services provided by the
State police to the public have been
integrated in the Uttarakhand police app.
 The emergency number 112 and cyber
helpline number 1930 have also been
connected to this app.
August 2022
 The Chhattisgarh Women Commission is
goint to organise ‘Mukhyamantri Mahtari
Nyay Rath Yatra’ to make the women of
the state aware of their constitutional rights
and laws.
 The chariots will travel in all the districts
and make people aware about the legal

messages and brochures.
 With the aim of spreading legal awareness
among women, Mukhyamantri Mahtari
Nyay Rath is being commenced on the
occasion of Hareli Tihaar.
 Haryana government recently launched the
“Chief Minister Equal Education Relief,
Assistance and Grant (Cheerag)” scheme.
 Under the Cheerag scheme, government
school students whose parents have an
annual verified income of less than Rs 1.8

 The government will reimburse Rs 700 per
student from Classes II to V, Rs 900 per
student from Classes VI to VIII, and Rs

India for the ‘Nethanna Beema’ scheme to
provide economic assurance to handloom
and power loom weaver families.
 The scheme will provide Rs 5 lakh

 The state department of handlooms and
textiles is the nodal agency for its

 Sikkim Chief Minister P S Tamang on the
occasion of the 75th anniversary of the
country's Independence and announced
the launch of 'Aama Yojana' and 'Vatsalya
Yojana' schemes for the welfare of women
in the mountain state.
 Under Aama Yojana, all unemployed
mothers in the state will recieve Rs 20,000
annually which will be deposited in their
bank accounts.

 The Uttar Pradesh government is drafting
its ‘services export’ policy to woo private
investors and earn foreign exchange. The
proposed policy will accord priority to key
services sectors of medical value travel,
tourism, IT/ITeS, logistics and education.
 These 12 sectors comprise IT/ITeS,

 The state was targetting to increase
merchandise exports to almost Rs 3 trillion

Kashmir to nurture an innovative mind-set
among high school students.

Yatra will cover over 100 educational
institutions in 30 districts over a period of
60 days.
 It will provide entrepreneurial exposure to
the young minds and establish the culture
of idea generation in the youth.
 The Andhra Pradesh government entered
into a memorandum of understanding with
US-based environmental organisation
Parley for the Oceans to make Andhra
Pradesh plastic-free by 2027.

the state, most likely in Visakhapatnam.

subsidies on the vermicompost produced in
the state under the Godhan Nyay Yojana.
 The move was necessary as the state
government predicted a surge in demand
besides helping villagers to get more return

in the country and the world that the state
