name of the food in question and by telling her/him to repeat.
Activity #11 - Let your child taste different flavors
The sense of taste (fruits, vegetables, milk, ...) that she/he

GLOBAL MOTOR For all children
ACTIVITIES
Material :
- A ball
Activity #15 - Empty plastic bottles or equivalent
Bowling
With a ball, your child can have fun dropping the bottles like the bowling game !

Material : a large blanket or bedsheet :

Each participant must be spread around the bedsheet and must hold it firmly. Place
a soft object on the bedsheet (example : a plush) and vigorously stir it to make the
object fly in the air. Try not to drop the object, it's more fun !
Activity #16
Many variations are possible. You can invent them.
The parachute
Example :
- Ask each participant to hold the bedsheet with one hand, stretching out the other
hand to keep the balance. Run in circles in one direction, then change hands and
run in the other direction. Another formula would be to use music as a signal to
change direction (you can, for example, change direction each time the music
stops).

OTHER DAILY ACTIVITY IDEAS

With a balloon : Several possible variants :

- Inflate the balloon and, instead of making a knot, drop the balloon into the room.
- Inflate the balloon without tying the knot. Hold the end with two fingers and let the air pass without letting go
of the balloon to make noise.
- Inflate the balloon without letting go. Hold the end of the balloon and let the air out (without making a shrill
noise). Direct the air towards the back of your child's hand, through their hair, towards their feet or on their
stomach.
- Inflate the balloon by making a knot this time. Send it up. Note : it must not fall to the ground !

With a large laundry basket or equivalent : Several variants possible. Your child can :
- Get into it. The large basket can thus become a boat or a car
- Put doll clothes or family clothes to do like mom/dad
- Put toys in it to have fun filling and emptying
- Make a cozy corner and put a cushion and a blanket

- Grimaces competition (grimaces work the tone of the tongue and the articulation) : In front of a mirror, have
fun with your child making the most beautiful grimaces. ☺

- In the kitchen : If you have the time and the ingredients, you can offer your child a fresh fruit salad. She/he
can then help you cut the softest fruit with a plastic knife. It is an opportunity to review with her/him the name
of the fruits she/he knows. Enjoy your meal !

- Little explorers : If you see little beasts inside or outside : observe them in their environment (what are they
doing ?). Remind your child of the names of the animals found.
- Noise hide and seek : Variant of the traditional hide and seek. Hide a sound object in a corner of the house
(alarm clock that rings, sound toy,...). Your child should find the object by being guided by the sound heard.

- Experience : the bouncing egg

Material :
- A fresh egg
- A glass
- White vinegar

1) Dip a fresh egg in a glass of white vinegar for 24 hours

2) Then take it out and rinse it under cold water

Result : The eggshell will slowly dissolve on contact with the vinegar. You will see the appearance of small
bubbles. If the egg rises to the surface, just push it back with your finger. After 24 hours, the shell will disappear
completely. The egg will be larger and more colorful. It will even become fluffy... and bouncing ! Try to bounce it
but not too high.
Warning ! If your child squeezes it too tightly or bounces it too high, the egg will burst because the inside will
have remained liquid.

Finally, you can also make, remake or continue the activities offered in previous weeks depending on the time
you have.

Have a nice fun week !

Amelia ☺
