- Other ideas : You can also read with your child other stories that you have at home by asking her/him to name
certain images and by teaching her/him new vocabulary. You can ask her/him to tell you the story by simply
following the pictures in the book.

GRAPHIC ACTIVITIES
- Sheet n°6 : Coloring with an instruction : Associate a color with a fruit.

- Sheet n°7 : Directed drawing : Color and draw the shapes according to the model. Difficult exercise for 2 years
old, you can help your child to do the tracing.

MANUAL ACTIVITIES
- Painting : Discovering purple (mixing blue and red) with different tools depending on what you have at home
(with the hands, fingers, cotton swabs, brushes, pieces of sponge, a unused toothbrush...).

SENSORY ACTIVITIES To awaken your child's senses

- The sense of sight : Germinate bean seeds in cotton by sprinkling a little every day and observe as they
germinate. You will find the seeds and the cotton in the kit n°2.

- The sense of touch : With a good hand wash beforehand, you can for example make your child touch different
food textures (flour, sugar, semolina, rice,...) and with flour why not draw with the finger different shapes
including the round, the square and the triangle. ☺
FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES To work on the precision of the gesture, the different grips and the
muscles of the hand
- Plasticine : Help your child make fruit out of plasticine (examples : banana, apple, grapes,...) then ask your
child to cut the fruit with a plastic knife. Then let her/him give free rein to his imagination by simply showing
her/him the gesture of mixing.
- With clothespins : Your child must hang clothespins around a plastic plate (or equivalent) to do like a sun (this
activity allows to work on gripping in pincers).
- Puzzles (if you have them at home)

GLOBAL MOTOR ACTIVITIES When you feel that your child wants to move and let off steam
- With a ball : Your child and 1 or more adults : sit on the floor face to face, legs apart. Send each other your
turn the ball (by rolling it on the ground) then increase the distance between each of you.
- Small course indoors (why not do it with music) : With 2 or 3 chairs : Your child must pass underneath. If you
have small chairs (or so with an overturned basin) it can pass over it. With a string taped to the ground, she/he
can walk on it like a beam or jump over it, and so on... To do with the equipment you have at home that can
safely address the concepts inside/above/below,...

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

Legos, kaplas, cubes allow your child to play independently, soothe her/him, work on her/his concentration,
creativity, imagination and fine motor skills. By accompanying your child in these kinds of games, you can take
the opportunity to make sorting games (colored : all the green legos together) and recognition games (where is
the square, the triangle, such animal on such cube ?...). The cubes can be stacked vertically but also aligned on
the ground and even formed a man !

AUTONOMY AND LEARNING IN DAILY LIFE

Daily living times are great ways to promote language. Do not hesitate to describe or explain to your child what
you are doing or what you are going to do.

1) When showering or bathing : You can teach her/him the parts of his body. It is also an opportunity to make
water games with different utensils (plastic : glass, small bottle, spoon, your child will have fun passing water
from one container to another, or so a washcloth to be filled, ...).

2) When dressing/undressing : With a little help your child can try to put on or take off some of her/his clothes
and you can teach her/him the vocabulary of clothes.

3) Let her/him make small choices (example : let her/him choose between several t-shirts when dressing).
During the meal, you can show her/him a spoon and a lid so that she/he chooses the appropriate object to eat.
4) In your direct environment : There are many colors and shapes. You can review them with everyday objects !

5) Count : The number of fingers, toes, ears, the number of fruits or vegetables used when preparing meals, the
number of butterflies in a book,...

6) When storing the laundry : Place a few socks on the floor and mix them up. Your child will need to find the
pairs that go together.

7) During the preparation of the meal or during the meal : Your child can try to peel an egg, a clementine, a
banana,...

8) Phone, computer, tablet and television screens are to be avoided as much as possible , as they affect your
child's good development and can cause both physical and cognitive problems. Finally free time, without
specific activity, doing nothing is beneficial for her/his imagination and autonomy.

Have fun !... ☺
