Academic scholarships for 2024–25

For all international students, except those from China and India
This document shows potential scholarship ranges. Eligibility factors include competitive GPA and test scores.
Once a student is fully admitted to ASU, any scholarship award is based on review of their academic record.
International applicants are encouraged to submit an ASU admission application, official transcripts, and test scores to be automatically
considered for a tuition scholarship. Some graduate scholarships require a separate application, as noted.

ASU-USA Pathways admission and progression scholarships

Admitted students are guaranteed $8,500 awarded for the 3-semester program, or $3,600 for 1-semester. Earned Pathways students
are eligible for the scholarship in their first full Pathways session after they gain full admission. On successful completion of ASU-USA
Pathways, students with GPA 3.25+ are awarded an ASU bachelor’s program tuition scholarship of $5,000, renewable annually.*

Kaplan International award

Students who do not meet the criteria for an ASU scholarship may be eligible for a Kaplan-funded partial scholarship (average $2,000)
if they are unconditionally admitted to a bachelor’s or master’s degree at a Phoenix-area campus. For undergraduates, the Kaplan award
is given each semester until completion of their first spring semester at ASU. After that, if the student has no NAmU scholarship, the
Kaplan award will be renewed* by ASU for 6 or 7 additional semesters. For graduates, Kaplan-funded awards are not renewable.

Not all students will qualify. Awards are made in fall and spring semesters only. Summer-start students will receive any awarded scholarship in their first fall semester. Eligible students must be on F-1 visas.
Students who receive full sponsorship are not eligible for these awards. ASU and Kaplan reserve the right to revoke any admission or scholarships due to incorrect self-reported information.
*S
tudents awarded a NAmU scholarship must meet renewal criteria each year in order for their scholarship to continue. The award is renewable for a total of 8 (Year 1 admission students) or 4 (transfer
admission students) consecutive fall and spring semesters of eligibility. More detail: students.asu.edu/scholarships/renewal
