Wikipedia is a goldmine of information; not just for its many readers, but also for the growing
community of researchers who recognize it as a resource of exceptional scale and utility. As everyone
knows, it was launched in 2001 with the goal of building free encyclopedias in all languages. Wikipedia
also utilizes JavaScript to make its interface user friendly and to improve reading experience to its users.
The language also helps in loading dynamic content and enhancing navigation and information
accessibility[2].
3. Stack Overflow(www.stackoverflow.com):
Stack Overflow is becoming one of the most popular Q&A(Question and Answers) platform
for programmers where developers can seek help for their encountered problems. It is heavily
depends on JavaScript for its interactive features. The language powers real-time updates on
questions, answers, and comments, facilitating a dynamic and engaging environment for
knowledge sharing within the programming community[3].
4. Github(www.github.com):
Github is becoming one of the most important source of software artifacts in the world with over
10 million git repository. Researchers starting to mine the information stored in Github’s event
log, trying to understand how its users employ the site to collaborate on software[4]. GitHub has
created efficiencies and helped improve the way software professionals work. It not only
provides a traceable project repository, but it acts as a social meeting place for interested parties,
supporting communities of practice[5]. It is heavily relies on JavaScript for its user interface,
code review tools, and pull request workflows.
5. Amazon(www.amazon.com):
Amazon is a singular enterprise founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994. Amazon started as an online
bookstore but rapidly expanded its product offerings to include a wide range of goods, including
electronics, clothing, furniture, and more. Today, Amazon is one of the world's largest online
retailers and offers a diverse range of products and services.[6]
6. Youtube(www.youtube.com):
Today, YouTube is the largest user-driven video content provider in the world; it has become a
major platform for disseminating multimedia information. A major contribution to its success
comes from the user-to-user social experience that differentiates it from traditional content
broadcasters. YouTube uses JavaScript extensively to power its video player, comments section,
and various interactive elements on the platform.
