Enhanced Extended Masters with MBA - MBA – Masters in Business Administration
MBA degree course has been designed to support our career progression, preparing us to carry out
managerial roles successfully or to build our own business.
Study duration - 15 Months
Start date - Monday 18th September 2023.
Fee - 17500 Pounds
Monthly expense - 1334 per month
Sponsor / Bank Balance - £12,006 as per UKVI student visa requirements for courses lasting 9
months or more.
Additionally - 500 to cover any currency fluctuation.

previous studies?

During my work, I got an opportunity to work and interact with many companies and
leading entrepreneurs. Going through real-life working I realized that to have a cutting
edge in the career it is essential to have a world-class master's degree.
This course is relevant to my previous work experience and will help me gain the qualification and
experience I need for me to get a job (have my own business) in the field I am studying in.
I chose MBA because I have great opportunities in future this course will provide me with breadth and
depth of practical skills, knowledge, and expertise to become a confident and successful business
manager.

3. Tell me about yourself.
This is sowmiya Sakthivel from Jaffna Sri Lanka, I born and grew up in Kiranchi Poonakari, my early
education was there, before the civil war our family moved in Jaffna. I did my middle and high studies
in Jaffna holy family convent. It’s a girl’s school. Rather than studying I was a sports caption and also
being in some others clubs too like dance and arts club. I love to play netball and volley ball.
After my schooling am decided to do a degree in IT field after that worked in several IT firms but that
not satisfy my vision , that time I had an opportunity to work as admin manager in a education firm that
point I realize that what I want in my career . now am working as a manager in a non-profitable
organization. I gained so much knowledge and experience about management and organizational skills,
then I decided to pursue a master degree in business management to develop my knowledge and skills
that’s why I choose MBA.
4. Have you researched your career prospects?
Off course. I have planned to choose any reputed multinational firm where I could learn more and more.
Second at that time possibly there will be competition in jobs, if I fail to get any good job then I have
plan to start my own business.

This module enables you to incorporate broader strategic considerations into your management decisions. It
provides you the tools and insight to think and act strategically and engage in progressive leadership. The
use of real-life examples reinforces your understanding of key principles.
Leading People and Team
This module will help you to increase your awareness of the latest thinking regarding strategic workforce
management, develop your skills to lead individual employees and teams in varying situations and to face
future challenges with confidence.
Strategy And Innovation
This module enables you to further optimize your strategic decision-making abilities. It helps deepen your
knowledge of strategic planning, governance and control. The module focuses on a close integration of
theoretical and professional practice content and, being able to grasp knowledge and skills in dealing with
complex decision situation and decision problems in connection with practice-oriented problems.
Financial Management for Decision Makers
This module provides basic financial principals and covers financial management tools necessary for

Global Marketing and Digital Business

The university is running the courses I was looking to do, and the fee is reasonable and affordable for
me. I carried out my own internet research to find out about the university and the course curriculum
was very much what I wanted. And also its have Career-focused courses with excellent teaching in a
campus designed for a great student experience.

8. Why did you choose the UK and why not some other
country?
In my choice I have Canada, Australia, and USA
Canada - Course fee high
Australia - Too much time for visa processing and admission
USA - Crime Rate high
The UK is one of the most popular destinations for international students. The UK offers world-class
education and some of the top-ranked universities are all located in the UK. The course duration is
shorter compared to other countries. The course fee is cheaper than the other country and its one the
safest country for international students.
9. Where will you be staying

10. Why did you decide to study in the UK

(students cant give a generic answer like multicultural society, student friendly environment etc. Research
has to be genuine)
The UK is one of the most preferred study destinations among international students around the world.
world best universities are in UK like University of Oxford University of Cambridge, in UK universities
has flexible courses and course duration lesser than other countries, security and assurance are high in
UK for international Students, Thanks to the vibrant and multicultural society, the UK is international
students’ friendly destination. Apart from that, UK degrees are renowned around the world, and the UK
has better influence in the job market and the qualification has more value here.
11. Why did you not want to study in your home country?
o Think of the benefits the UK offers to students as compared to your country.
Firstly, I have searched through colleges and universities here, and from what I have learnt about them
from friends and families, I believe the education abroad is of far much better standard.
12. What are your future plans?
o The student needs to show the intention of returning to their home country and what do they intend to
do upon returning.
After I complete my studies, I will come back here, and I plan to start my own business. I have always
been interested in entrepreneurship and have been working on a few business ideas that I am very
excited about. I am also interested in working at a well-established firm as a senior Manager with good
payment. Whatever it is which part I decided to take I am confident that I will be successful it and enjoy
part, I am doing.
