A Hehe, this is Diabolo. It is also called as
Chinese Yoyo. It is one of the Chinese
traditional game. It is a challenging yet fun
skill toy.
V I see. How to play it?
A Once the diabolo is spinning, it will balance
on the string suspended between the two
sticks.
V Interesting! Can you show me how?
A Erm… I don’t think I can. Why don’t we let
the professional do it?
V Alright! Now, let’s welcome our Diabolo
team! Please give them a round of applause!
Indian dance
A Thank you to our Diabolo team. Do you all
love the show?? (Wait) Yes, me too!
V This is truly amazing. I am really in awe of
their remarkable tricks and performance. So,
what’s our next performance? I can’t wait.
A Before that, Vanessa, can you tell me what
are the 3 main races in Malaysia?
V Hmm… We have Malays, Chinese and
Indians.
A That’s right. We had watched Chinese
performance. Hence, our next performance
will be Indian dance, - Gallan Goodiyan
which is performed by Year 6 students. They
have been practising hard for this. Let us
welcome them to the stage!
Choir
A Thank you for the dance. It is truly remarkable. I
love watching performers from different races
performing traditional dance. This is Malaysia,
truly Asia, with infinite diversity in infinite
combination.
Ei? Where is Vanessa? Ha….. she is going to
join our upcoming performance. Just now, we
had two dances. Now, it is time for choir
performance! Just few weeks ago, our school
choir had won Gold prize in MCE International
Choir Competition. I am so proud of them!
Without any delay, I am pleased to welcome
our school choir to perform a Malay song,
entitled “Mak Inang”
