Interactions
Sexual, torture or extremely gross roleplay is allowed only if all parties involved
(participants and witnesses) have agreed to it in an out of character chat prior to
the roleplay being performed and not in a public area. If at any time you feel
uncomfortable with the roleplay you can void it and leave the roleplay. This
includes spiking drinks, this should not be roleplayed in any instance.
Scenarios such as rape and nonconsential touching are prohibited.
Players breaking the rules doesn’t mean the roleplay stops, if you have an issue
with the player submit a report in-game or on the forums.
Players trying to meet someone via stream sniping isn’t allowed. If you’re found to
be stream sniping you will be permanently banned and unwhitelisted from the server.

Consequences: Class C or D Depending on the Situation

In-game Rules

0. Admin Discretion
When a player's actions or general conduct negatively impacts another player's
roleplay experience and/or undermines the realistic roleplaying atmosphere we
strive to create on the server, admins have the authority to punish that player for
violations not covered by the guidelines below. This also means that admins have
the full ability to punish players for scenes where terrible roleplay is
represented and the use of forums is not necessary - only if the situation matches
this.
Consequences: Class B or Class C

1. Common Courtesy
All players should treat others with respect. You’re not allowed to break the rules
because someone else did. You shouldn’t disrupt, stall or void roleplay unless an
administrator tells you too. Examples;
Quitting the game to avoid roleplay (combat logging) - Automatic 10 day ban.
Repeatedly refusing to roleplay / Avoiding roleplay
Bugs, Dsync issues are to be roleplayed out.
Assets are to not be transferred without approval by Administration.
Homophobia, Misgendering, and Targeted Hateful remarks are strongly prohibited, and
will not be taken lightly.
Insulting another player through Out of Character chat of any form. (Forums,
Discord, Etc.)
Disregarding an administrator's decision or ignoring their messages.
Failure to roleplay a car crash, unless caused by desynch and voided by an
administrator.
Purposely being away from keyboard to avoid roleplay.
Properties should be sold at realistic prices, players should not be adding
hundreds of thousands of dollars for no apparent reason.

If you come across a bug or exploit on any of our services you’re required to
report it. Exploiting it and using it will result in a permanent ban and it’s your
obligation to report rule-breakers as well.
Do not attempt to purchase/sell weapons/drugs through the in game “Yellow Pages”
application, this is very subpar and will result in punishment.
Consequences: Any Class Depending on the Situation

2. Metagaming
Metagaming is defined as using out of character information in character. Inciting
someone else to metagame is against this rule. Examples:
John Doe reads something from out of character chat and roleplays knowing that in-
character.
Jane Smith reads something from twitch chat and roleplays knowing that in-
character.
Using out of game communications like Discord, Skype, etc. to communicate in
character while in-game is forbidden.
Consequences: Class C

3. Powergaming
Powergaming can be defined as performing acts that are not human like; forcing
roleplay on others without giving them a fair chance; making up things which did
not happen so that you can benefit; roleplaying things which are not possible
script-wise so that you can gain an unfair advantage. Examples;
Talking/Organizing/Calling out locations while downed.
Finding the quickest way to make money, rather than roleplaying around the
mechanic.
The use of /me and /do should be used as much as possible to help aid your
scenarios.
Driving at unrealistic speeds with no character reason over and over.
Purposely stomping to death playing around the health bar.
Consequences: Class B

4. Deathmatching
Killing another person without a sufficient roleplay reason (deathmatching) is not
allowed. Unnecessary provoking falls under this rule as well. Terrorism is strictly
forbidden.

Vehicle Deathmatching (VDM) - Purposely using your vehicle to harm or kill another
player. This does not mean everytime you are hit by a vehicle that it is Vehicle
Deathmatching, but if it matches the description then the rule was broken.
This also includes revenge killing — when you respawn after being executed and then
kill (or at least attempt to) the person who has just murdered you. Your In
Character memory is wiped off everything that led up to your death when you are
killed, so you should forget about your attacker. Examples;
Attacking another player/group without any story/roleplay leading up to it.
Attacking another player/group using a Vehicle with the intent to kill/knock them
out without valid reasoning or initiation.
John Doe has killed you over a legitimate in character reason and you respawned
without being saved by the Police Department/Fire Department so you get a gun from
your house and go back and kill him.
You provoke a fist fight with two people who are unarmed and then you pull your
firearm out and kill them.
Players cannot provoke a situation or another player without valid reasons behind
it.
Consequences: Class C

5. Robbing and Scamming

Robbing is defined as taking someone’s possessions (money/items, etc) by force or
threat of force. Scamming is defined as offering a good or service and then
refusing to pay or give it. Robberies and scams must be strictly done in character.
Players are unable to force other players to withdraw money from an automated
teller.
You must always have a valid reasoning behind robbing someone.
Players are unable to force another player to sell them their vehicle via script
commands during a robbery.
Players are unable to force other players to hand over assets that aren’t present
in the area.
Players may not scam vehicles or properties
Players may scam for a maximum amount of $20,000 and nothing greater.
Players may not rob items from the Police Department and Fire Department.
Players can't commit a robbery while operating a luxury, high-end, or sports car.
Players are able to rob all of the cash you are carrying on your persona. Avoid
walking around with twenty thousand dollars unless you don’t care about losing it.
Looting people who are dead is forbidden.
A group who splits up shouldn't be hitting a house in 4 different areas of the map
to try and spread police out just so they can succeed.
You may not rob a player while they are performing a scripted job on the server,
ex: garbage pickup.
Only tell a player to 'put their hands up' or 'don't move' solely if you intend to
rob them, not if you intend to kill them.
You may not Rob/Scam a player inside of a greenzone.
Any purchase of illegal activities such as drugs and firearms must be purchased
with cash and cash only, failure to do so could result in a validation of a scam.
(This Includes being able to scam above the scam limit.)
Chain robberies on your character unless perfectly roleplayed will be considered
unrealistic and poor portrayal of a character. You may only do up to one robbery
per hour. Group robberies count together the rule doesn't apply to just an
individual it applies to an entire group you're with. Rather you're the getaway
driver or burglar. You may not kill someone during a robbery unless they bring it
upon themselves. Players must show value for their life and your character's life
is important.
Consequences: Class A or B Depending on the Situation.

6. New Life Rule (NLR)

If you’re downed and respawn at the hospital your character forgets the immediate
events leading up to being down in the current scenario. A player may not return to
the area of their death for at least 15 minutes or attempt to retrieve lost
possessions from involved players. If you happen to Character Kill, you may not
make a new character and revenge kill for your deceased character.
If you are downed and respawn at the hospital your character forgets the immediate
events leading up to being downed in the current scenario. You may not respawn if
you’ve been advised that police or EMS is on the way to your scene.
You must try and contact medical help of some sort while incapacitated.
Consequences: Class B

7. Abuse of Game Physics

Grand Theft Auto Five physics and movements in-game are hardcoded and cannot be
changed via scripting so the following is forbidden to avoid non-roleplay
situations:
Bunnyhopping (I.e: jumping while running around to gain speed in a situation)
Spam Punching (I.e: spam clicking mouse 1 in a fight and not giving someone a
chance to react).
Combat Rolling (I.e: rolling in a shootout, etc.)
Olympic Swimming (I.e: swimming without roleplay any exhaustion)
Abuse of jobs (I.e: spawning a job vehicle to evade police, etc).
Consequences: Class A

8. Third Party Modifications

Any type of game modification or software which gives a player any type of
advantage over another player is forbidden. Client side modding to give an
advantage is also considered a breach of the rule. Client side modding may only be
done for aesthetic purposes and should never be done to change the function of
anything in-game.

This includes the following; mods, trainers, crosshairs, tracers, unlimited stamina
etc.
Consequences: Class D

9. Safezones
A no crime zone is an area where player(s) may not commit any crimes. If the player
that you’re attacking flees to a safezone then the roleplay is allowed to continue.
Spawn Locations
City Hall, Any Government Offices, Law Enforcement Offices, Hospitals, Car
Dealerships, Banks, the Department of Motor Vehicles, The Country Club.
Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
Shopping Center / Mall - Inside Only.
Parking Garages & Impound Lots.

Player Owned Businesses. (The sidewalks and parking lots connected to the
businesses are also intended to be green zones - only when the business is open)
Server Events - excluding Block Parties & House Parties.
Movie Theatres, The Arena, Bowling Alleys, LA Fitness - Inside Only.
The Diamond Casino - parking lot included.
Dave & Busters
Consequences: Class B

10. Not Valuing Life (NVL)

All players must value their characters life:
Treat your character as you would treat yourself. Be mindful of your characters
life at all times.
If you are being held at gunpoint you are to do whatever they instruct you to.
If someone has a hostage during a situation, you must value the hostages life and
you would want the safety of the hostage.
Examples of when you’re not in direct danger:
When you’re in a vehicle and the engine isn’t stalled.
When you have a firearm drawn and facing the other person before they attack.
When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on
you.
Consequences: Class B

11. Illegal Activities

Criminal activities are limited to 4 players max at a time.
Relaying information to or between characters (lookouts, radio communications)
counts you as part of that scenario.
Whenever characters are brought into police custody and a second group of four is
formed to attempt a prison break or transport break, that second group is not
allowed to intervene until the prison transport begins. Doing so with small weapons
or an unthought out plan is also NVL.
Gambling that involves dice "shooting dice" also has restrictions. Players may only
bet a maximum of $20,000 per roll and may only partake in these activities with
cash.
Civilians with non-legal firearms may not attack others at complete free will, if
you have roleplay built up with another individual whether they are in a faction or
not then you may use this non-registered firearm and commit an attack on them, you
must PIN-POINT the exact individual you intent to attack. Civilians are forced onto
a 6 hour cooldown after attacking someone and the gun involved cannot be a
registered firearm, those are for defensive use only. You must also follow every
rule under robberies and respect the robbery cooldown listed under rule 5.
Civilians may not be involved in an official faction attack, please go read the
rules of engagement if you are unaware of what a faction attack consists of.
Choosing shooters/grinders over role-players is not acceptable.
Consequences: Class B

12. Multiple Characters(from the same player) in one gang/group)

This is not allowed. In general, try to avoid creating multiple characters involved
in the same story/scenarios and could use the same information to push their goals.
If your character end ups CK'ing in a faction and you still want to be apart of the
same faction, you must start off your new character as a **RESIDENT AND/OR MEMBER**
and work your way back up to Leader. This causes more roleplay and character
development/storylines when it comes down to faction RP. Also creates more
backdooring opportunities for the people who want to get that leadership role in
the faction. Any failure to do so will result in a punishment, which could result
in a faction strike, or a ban. Also, when you now make a new character it CANNOT be
related to the previous character you had before. **THIS ONLY APPLIES IN
CHARACTER**
Consequences: Class B

13. Corruption. (IC)

Giving guns out from being in the Police Department or Fire Department to others in
the server is classed as Corruption and will be banned for it. No Warnings.
Taking a large amount of money, weapons, items etc. from someone and not reporting
it to staff.
Setting another player up to be killed as a member of Police Department or Fire
Department is prohibited - you will face consequences.
Players may only work under one career in Government Employment (Medical Services &
Police Department). This means players who are Police Department may not work for
Medical Services at once & players who are Emergency Medical (EMS) may not work for
Police Department at once. This will balance the numbers and activity in each
department along with queue priority.
Applying for and getting accepted for a Legal Firearm to distribute the weapons
and/or ammunition.
Consequences: Any Class Depending on Situation

14. Refunds.
Please keep in mind that there is a strict NO Refund policy on ANY donation made
towards the server, these donations help keep the server running and in condition
for the community to enjoy. This includes whitelist applications, instant
whitelist, and any asset granted in game (If the server includes and/or allows
them).

15. Real World Trading

This is defined as trading or buying in-game items for out of game currency. This
is strongly prohibited.
Examples: Giving someone a vehicle in game and receiving payment for it OOC'ly.
Consequences: Any Class Depending on Situation

16. Vehicle Price Agreement

All vehicles sold within the server should follow this simple vehicle pricing
agreement - When selling a vehicle players are only able to add a maximum of 75,000
USD to the price from the vehicle's original/stock pricetag. (This is for EVERY
vehicle within the server)

Example: A Dodge Charger Hellcat has a sticker price of: $200,000 USD - The maximum
amount this vehicle can be sold for is $275,000 USD.
Consequences: Class B + Character Wipe

17. Obscene Roleplay

Obscene Roleplay scenes must be conducted away from other players or areas where
players are likely to cross. If a player feels uncomfortable at any time while
conducting obscene roleplay scenarios, that player can opt-out of the roleplay and
deem such roleplay voided; this will end any future continuance of the roleplay
scene. In the case that such obscene roleplay is to occur, every roleplaying party
must agree to continue the roleplay with Out of Character consent through local Out
of Character chat.

What is considered Obscene Roleplay?

Erotic or Sexual Roleplay.
Torture Styled Roleplay.
Roleplay scenes involving gore - usually causes uncomfortability.

The following should never be roleplayed:

Rape / Nonconsensual touching are strictly prohibited - Doesn't matter if both
parties agree this should NEVER happen.
Acts of Obscene Roleplay with individuals that are not of age.
