MY DREAM , MY FUTURE

Have you ever heard on the quote that say’s “The future belongs to
those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”- by Eleanor Roosevelt. It’s a
simple quote representing the idea of how we value or believe in our dreams,
how to achieve our goals or what you want to be in future. We are the one
who makes our dreams come true and the one who believe in it. I know that
each one of us has a dream, a vision of what we want to achieve in life. It is
our dreams that drives us, motivate us, and give us a purpose.
Having a dream is very essential to living a fulfilling life, it gives us
direction to work towards something that we truly desire. And for me that
desire is to live a happy life and having a job that interest me and I am
passionate about and that can help to my parents and allow us to live a
comfortable life. But achieving this dreams will not come easy. This is the
dream that will help us in our future that requires hard work, and taking
actions to make this dream a reality.
Dream have the power to inspire us and now let me share you a
short story of my childhood, when I am 7 years old a grade 2 learner. My
teacher gave us a questions related to our dreams, she asked ‘what are your
dreams in life?, What you want to be in future?. As a grade 2 learner I don’t
know what am I going to answer, I didn’t think much that time, there are so
many words coming my mind and I said I want to be an writer or an author
of a book. My teacher asked me ‘Why did you choose it?, I answered I want
to be an writer because I want to show writing is not just writing it’s a
passion where many people can learn on what they’ve read. My teacher
replies ‘that’s great and say’s I give you this questions because I want all of
you to know that dreaming big or less is not bad when you truly like it and
you have the passion to pursue on it and you can take responsibility to
make this dream come true. After that I start wondering on what my teacher
said, I also start asking my self what do I look like in the future?, is my life
the same as my life now?. And this lesson I learned that time, I use it and it
starts to motivate me and here I am , that memories of my childhood brings
me now at present time.
I also want to share a phrase that say’s “Every boy is unique and
wonderful and has all the skills and opportunities to achieve his dreams and
goals”-written by Eller Mills in the book Never Stop Dreaming. Following our
dreams gives us a opportunities, opportunities that allow us to go with it.
Having a dream also means knowing its purpose, what is the reason why we
do it, is this the right way to do it, it is good or bad to our future. But be
ready for the circumstances or obstacles to come. Dreaming is a tough way,
but in the end it will be all worth it in the end.
All in all, these are the most essential things to consider in having a
dream. Dream that gives us a goal or image of our desired life, inspires us
and gives us an intention. Knowing our dreams is like having our own
future. And now I want to say to each and everyone of you to follow your
dreams, believe in it, believe in yourself and never give up on your dreams.
Whether your dream is similar to mine or not, know that it is possible to
achieve it. With hard work and dedication you can make your dreams a
reality. Follow your heart as you follow your dreams.
