BASE ADJECTIVES They are the normal ones. Examples: Tired / Hungry
STRONG ADJECTIVES We use them to emphasize or exaggerate. Examples:
exhausted / starving

VERY ABSOLUTELY REALLY


Use it only with base adjectives. Use it only with strong adjectives. You can use it with both types.
Example: I’m very tired. (not very Example: I’m absolutely exhausted Example: I’m really tired or
