you’d like more help than the summary below:

Crochet Basics: Learn the basics including how to make a base adjustable ring, how to chain
and how to make a treble crochet (tr).

INSTRUCTIONS
Make a base adjustable ring.
Round 1: Ch 5 (first 4 ch counts as first tr), (tr in ring, ch 1) 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of starting ch. Use
tail to tighten ring so there is no hole at center, or there is a hole of your desired size. DO NOT TURN.
Round 2: Ch 8 (first 4 ch counts as first tr), (tr in next tr, ch 4) 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of starting ch.
DO NOT TURN.
Round 3: Ch 11 (first 4 ch counts as first tr), (tr in next tr, ch 7) 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of starting ch.
DO NOT TURN.
Round 4: Ch 14 (first 4 ch counts as first tr), (tr in next tr, ch 10) 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of starting ch.
DO NOT TURN.
Round 5: Ch 17 (first 4 ch counts as first tr), (tr in next tr, ch 13) 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of starting ch.
DO NOT TURN.
Round 6: Ch 20 (first 4 ch counts as first tr), (tr in next tr, ch 16) 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of starting ch.
DO NOT TURN.
Round 7: Ch 23 (first 4 ch counts as first tr), (tr in next tr, ch 19) 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of starting ch.
DO NOT TURN.
You can tie off at this point to create a cobweb the same size as the cobweb featured in the photog-
raphy. Alternatively, just add 3 more chains between each tr on each subsequent round and continue
working rounds until you reach a cobweb of your desired size.
Finishing: Weave in all ends. Use lengths of yarn strung through the tr stitches of the final round to
affix the cobweb to the corner of your choice.
