CHAPTER 1: Heads or Tails

Part II: Nothing to lose

SCENE 1:

Theo and Raven just woke up from a night of

drinking at the bar because they got fired
yesterday. They try to recall events of last
night only to stumble upon a calling card. They
have no idea what it's about but being the
curious cats they are, they decide to call the
number.

THEO
May as well see what she has to offer. Nothing to
lose there, right?

Theo picks up the phone and dials the number on

the calling card. Theo puts it in speaker phone.
Ringing is heard and a woman's voice is heard
MORALLY ENTITLED PRODUCTIONS
from the other side.

OVER THE PHONE: EVE (STRANGE WOMAN)

I was starting to think you wouldn't call!

Distinct voices are heard in the background, it

is clear that she really is a Government Worker.

INT. GOVERNMENT OFFICE - MORNING

Eve is on the phone and the camera pans towards

her. We see her surrounded by a big man yet his
face is not revealed. He is listening to their
conversation.

OVER THE PHONE: RAVEN

So, what do you have in store for us?

EVE
We can't talk details on the phone. Meet me in the
warehouse I just sent you at 10:30 am sharp. If I do
not see you, I will block this number.

OVER THE PHONE: RAVEN & THEO

Understood, Ma'am. Thank you for giving us this
opportunity.

A ding is heard, Eve just sent the location of

their meeting to them. It's an old warehouse
near the ports.

OVER THE PHONE: THEO

Alright, we just received it. We'll get ready and
meet you soon.

EVE
Thanks, boys. See you then!

She hangs up the phone and looks up to the

strange man. She smiles as the camera pans out,
she whispers something to the man yet we do not
know what it is.

SCENE 2:
________

INT. RAVEN'S HOUSE - MORNINGS

We see them getting ready, Theo is a bit

MORALLY ENTITLED PRODUCTIONS
concerned but doesn't act on it. He is desperate
to find another job. They have breakfast.

RAVEN
Are we really sure we're going to do this?

THEO
We already set up the appointment.. but let's go to
the warehouse armed, just in case.

They both reluctantly agree and get ready. They

put on their clothes; Raven brings his LUCKY
COIN.

THEO
What's that for? Why are you bringing a coin?

RAVEN
Hey, don't judge me. This is actually a pretty lucky
coin. I won three scratch tickets when I used this.

THEO
You don't say... whatever.

RAVEN
It actually works you know. My grandfather said that

his grandfather used to be a pirate or whatever.

THEO
That's pretty ironic considering we just got pirated
of our jobs.

Theo laughs loudly while Raven turns away to

stop himself from laughing. Raven checks the
time, it's 10:02.

SCENE 3:
________

INT. RAVEN'S CAR - MORNING

We see them drive there nervously. They don't

speak but it is clear that they have doubts
about this.

NO DIALOGUE IN THIS SCENE. SHOW BEAUTY OF

FICTIONAL CITY.

Theo looks outside the window and sees a
strange.. the building's roof.
It seems to be looking at them, he isn't quiet
sure. He just dismisses it as a case of the
hangovers.

SCENE 4:
________

EXT. WAREHOUSE - MORNING

We see them arrive and talk, but no dialogue is

heard in this scene. This is meant to add more
mystery to the case. The character is seeing
this in the third person view.

EVE
That's all of it. I don't have any physical evidence
to show you, any file, anything.

They both look at each other in awe. What they

heard was pretty huge, yet we do not know what
it is.

RAVEN
Alright, we'll get down to it.

They both leave. Eve notices the coin Raven was

toying around with while talking to her. She
doesn't follow up with it and probably thinks
it's just his thing. She takes note of it
though.

SCENE 5:
________

INT. RAVEN'S HOUSE - NIGHT

Both Raven and Theo are discussing the case, we

don't hear them but we see them discussing about
it. The door rings, revealing they ordered food
from HERA's (A popular fast food in the city).

DELIVERY MAN
That'll be 15.23.

THEO
Alright, here's 20. Keep the change.

DELIVERY MAN
Thanks, whatever.
MORALLY
RAVEN ENTITLED PRODUCTIONS
Rude.

The delivery man walks away and they bring the

food inside, eating the food in peace. Theo
turns on the news on.

NEWS ANCHOR - BACKGROUND VOICE

And for our top story today, a massive leak from the
CIA, FBI, and the newly created DTM (Department of
Technology Management) has revealed hundreds, maybe
thousands of Top Secret information that has been
circulating on the internet. We have manage to get
one of the documents and we are sharing them with you
right here, today. Here is one of them, right here we
see a document with hundreds of retractions and
blacked out lines but we can make out some of the
words. It says "Portal, World, TOP SECRET, and
Harbinger". We might not know what it means for now,
but tune in for more information about this ongoing
story after the break. This is-

She's cut off. NAME NOT TO BE REVEALED. FOCUS ON

THEO AND RAVEN.

THEO
Jeez, that's insane. Portal? World? What does it all
mean... Could it have something to do with this
case?!

RAVEN
Let's focus on the facts. It sounds all insane right
now but we have a lot of investigating to do. We
don't have time for all of that portals and worlds
thing.

THEO
You're right.. Let's finish up.

They finished eating, cleaning up and head to

bed soon enough. Raven falls asleep first and
then Theo. FADE TO BLACK.

SCENE 6:
________
MORALLY ENTITLED
INT. JUMPERS HQ PRODUCTIONS
(NIGHTMARE) - MIDNIGHT

FADE FROM BLACK, DISTORTED VISION, BLURRY: A

worker tasers a handcuffed individual. Distinct
shouting is heard but the sound of the
electricity is the one mostly heard. We do not
know what is happening but based on the sound it
looks like we're in some sort of facility. The
walls are grey with lines, a whiteboard is seen
with drawing of weird lines and numbers that are
written backwards or upside down. We are then
grabbed by a woman.

STRANGE WOMAN (MC'S MOM)

Run! Come on! We don't have time! Get inside there!

INT. RAVEN'S BEDROOM - MIDNIGHT

Raven wakes up to Theo screaming for help and he

rushes outside to see him sleeping, he guesses
he must be having a nightmare.

RAVEN
Theo, wake up! Theo! Hey, come on.
 6.

INT. JUMPERS HQ (NIGHTMARE) - MIDNIGHT

STRANGE WOMAN (MC'S MOM)

Get in there. Don't open the door unless you'll hear
me say so, okay? I love you, baby. Don't open the
door!

She closes the door and MC is given a choice to

either hide or open the door. If they decide to
hide, they get to escape later on. If they open
the door, they get found and thrown into a
portal.

Theo wakes up screaming and covered in sweat.

THEO
AHHH! HELP ME! HELP ME!

RAVEN
Hey, hey! Buddy, you're alright. You're alright. What
happened?

THEO
I just had one of the most intense nightmare I had in
a while. I can't remember much of it but I remember
MORALLY ENTITLED PRODUCTIONS
hiding from something or someone...

FADE TO BLACK.
