A major player in natural gas based in Huelva

(Spain) needed to build a liquefied natural
gas (LNG) storage and supply plant to serve
as a fuel supply point for natural gas vehicles
(NGVs).

This client’s business is expanding fast thanks

in part to their awareness of the growing trend
in the market for greener, smarter fuels like
LNG in both the public and private sectors.

switch to more environmentally-friendly fuels

The project
The project consisted of the design and
construction of a liquefied natural gas storage and
supply plant.

The plant needed to serve any motor vehicle that

runs on LNG, taking into account the difference
between the requirements of large and small
vehicles.

It would serve both private vehicles and piblic

motor transport (the local city council’s NGV bus
fleet). Crysopain would have to ensure total safety
and ease of use, regardless of who was using the
plant to refuel.

The solution
Cryospain was in charge of designing and
manufacturing the plant, as well as supplying all
the components and assembling them (storage
tank, pumps, electrical installation, etc.).

including two fully-operational cryogenic
workshops, means we can provide

without sacrificing standards.

The result of the project was a fully operational
plant for private and public natural gas vehicles
(NGVs).

A cleaner fleet of public buses and better public

transport options has been a double win for
the air quality in the area and for the company’s

At the same time, we guaranteed safety and ease

of use for private vehicles thanks to a compressed
gas dispenser for light vehicles installed alongside
the liquefied gas dispenser for heavy vehicles.
