This study was conducted to determine the level of
effectiveness of therapeutic community modality program of the
bureau of jail management and penology at Odiongan District Jail.
Specifically, it sought answers to research questions such as what
is the level of effectiveness of therapeutic community modality
program in the aspects of behavioral, intellectual and spiritual,
psychological and mental, and survival and vocational, and is there
any significant difference in the level of effectiveness of in the
aspects of behavioral, intellectual and spiritual, psychological and
mental, and survival and vocational, and is there any significant
correlation in the level of effectiveness of in the aspects of
behavioral, intellectual and spiritual, psychological and mental, and
survival and vocational,?
94 respondents were included in the study from the Bureau
of Jail Management and Penology. The questionnaire was utilized
as the main instrument in data gathering, and the data gathered
were analyzed using the Special Program or Special Science
(SPSS) and one-way ANOVA analysis of variance tests.
Hence, most indications were rated by the Warden, Jail
Personnel, and Persons Deprived of Liberty; the overall rating was
still effective; thus, the researchers concluded that therapeutic
community modality program in the aspects of behavioral,
intellectual and spiritual, psychological and mental, and survival
and vocational is effective. The three groups of respondents have
significant differences in the level of behavioral, intellectual and
spiritual, psychological and mental, and survival and vocational. On
top of that, there is no significant correlation in the assessment of
the three groups of respondents in the levels of behavioral,
intellectual and spiritual, psychological and mental, and survival
and vocational aspects.
Based on the findings and conclusions, it is therefore
recommended that, since it was found out that the three groups of
respondents, namely Warden, Jail personnel, and Persons
Deprived of Liberty, have just rated Therapeutic Community
Modality Program and its four aspects, such as, behavioral,
intellectual and spiritual, psychological and mental, and survival
and vocational as effective. Therefore, this study has suggested
that Therapeutic Community Modality Program as a whole in terms
behavioral, intellectual and spiritual, psychological and mental, and
survival and vocational of leads to the indication of "effective"
results.
