Introduction.
By the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda in The Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din we have a
religion of timeless value and beauty. A religion that effortlessly reaches out to touch the
hearts and minds of our people in every generation and era so that with love and faith
they can maintain, preserve and then pass onwards the faith to those who are yet to be
born. A religion indeed that continues to transcend the very best and worst of times, for
by the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda there is always someone coming to show us the
way religiously and so inspire the masses of true Iranians to establish the most superb of
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Empires. Where tolerance, understanding, compassion and
humility were just the beginning of a host of aspects that set us apart from those who
could not rule or lead except through the tried and trusted means of bad thoughts, bad
words and bad deeds. As a result no matter what the age or time we Mazdayasni
Zarathushtis continue to look forward to the very best of lives where goodness and
righteousness are of fundamental importance to our nature and well being. Just as
Iranians we can look backwards in pride and awe to countless eras of the most cultured
and sophisticated levels of urban living where our contributions to the world became
adopted and copied everywhere. This being a religious book naturally we give all the
credit for our past, present and future accomplishments to the faith. With the proviso
that all of this is only possible when the masses of our people share just one ideological
understanding of the faith and one method of practice. In other words a sense of
uniform religious thought, word and deed that unifies us all as nothing else can do.
Thus we give to you The Shah Behram that everyone inside of our worldwide
communities may unite upon one understanding, one knowledge and one method of
practice of the religion, as based upon the religious teachings of Asho Zarathushtra and
those whom He sends into our midst to show us the way.
When Asho Zarathushtra last came amongst our people in Iran, through the
performance of a most wondrous miracle at the river Daiti by Him, the masses of our
people came to learn of the coming advent of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand. This
however happened a very long time ago and so it has always fallen to each and every
successive one who comes to show us the way, to include in their respective religious
teachings of the coming advent of The 100th Rainidar Saheb Shahnshah Shah Behram
Varjavand. In this way the story never gets forgotten. Consequently some 3,500 or so
years ago the coming advent of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand was once again
retold, when there came into Iran via the most holy mountain of Demavand, the 99th
Rainidar Saheb ordained by our Paighambar Saheb Asho Zarathushtra Spitmän. Known
to us as Dastoor Adarbad Marespand his legacy to us lives on through production of the
smaller Khordeh Avesta. A most holy and divine book, that to this day remains the
primary book of prayers for all true Mazdayasni Zarathushtis. Of course then as today
you can find sceptics who have no faith, true religious knowledge, the vision let alone a
belief in divine intervention. So when challenged by such as these types of people,
Dastoor Adarbad Marespand Saheb gave an unbelieveable demonstration whereby he
had hot molten copper poured all over his body, with no ill effects occurring to him at
all.
We now come to the era of the late Sassanian Shahnshah Yazdegard in whose reign it
was pre-ordained that the fall of The Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din of Iran would occur.
Once again by divine decree one Abed Saheb by the name of Nairyosang Avval came
into Iran via the holy Mt. Demavand. This word of Avval indicates that the Saheb was of
the very highest class/first grade. The full story of Nairyosang Saheb you can read about
in the relevant chapter concerning The Parsis, Pak Iranshah and Akebate Iran.
Moving forward in time to Bombay, India during the early 1960’s, one Parsi man by the
name of Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol now came to speak about his experiences in
connection to the most holy mountain of Demavand. Over time as ever more of our
people came to appreciate the true nature and status of Minocher they began to call him
Saheb. Most importantly of all it was ONLY now from the 1960’s onwards that through
the religious teachings of Minocher Saheb, one could see the beginnings of a
rejuvenation of The Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din. For instance from the youth of our
community to the more elderly it was, and still is, possible to see many more of our
people wearing Sudreh/Kusti, red topis, saying their daily prayers and coming in front
of our consecrated fires. Simultaneously there was a growing acceptance and
understanding of our religious customs and traditions which previously had been
thought of as out of date and so on.
In just under one years time by grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda and guidance from
Minocher Saheb there was established The Minocher N. Pundol Atash Adaran-e-
Iranshah in Udvada, Gujarat. In The Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din there is no greater act
than that of being involved in the consecration and establishment of holy fire. So
naturally when the masses of our people living in Baroda wished to establish a new
Atash Adaran therein, it was with much joy and pleasure that in early part of A.D. 2004
we were able to make their wish come true.
Minocher Saheb was assisted by his Shageds-Sohrabji Irani, Jamshedji Cawasji Hansotia,
Udvada Mobed Behramshah H. Bharda, Pervez Rabadi and other spiritually advanced
Zarathustis. Yet even then it was known that one day in the future a most superb
Astrologer would come to show us the way. That day has long since come to pass and so
today it is Godrej Minocher Pundol Saheb who shows us the way.
Understandably everyone longs to see and indeed be a part of the new Mazdayasni
Zarathushti Empire of Iran, that shall be created by the ultimate rejuvenator and One
who comes to show us the way, as The 100th Rainidar Saheb Shahnshah Shah Behram
Varjavand. In point of fact that the masses of our people can specifically begin to focus
upon the coming advent of Shah Saheb, this book is named in his honour as The Shah
Behram and an entire chapter is devoted to this 100th Rainidar Saheb.
Yet in the midst of so much expectation, hope and joy The Shah Behram has been
produced to reflect our Godrej Saheb’s wishes that the masses of our people always focus
upon the basics of the religion, whilst upholding our ancient customs and traditions.
For only then through a lifetime of devotion to everything of which our faith stands for
it is possible to become a Saabed Mazdayasni Zarathushti and so establish oneself on the
path to an eternal life with Pak Dadar Ahuramazda.

By the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda from the time of Creation to the present, there
has been an endless succession of Vakshur-e-Vakshuraans/Prophet-of-Prophets destined
to rule over Heaven and Earth. Given leadership over Ameshaspands, Yazads and all the
other forces of fire and light known collectively to us as Spenamino, which were in
themselves created to fight the forces of darkness known to us as Ahereman/Angremino,
in a seemingly universal war. One in which only The Prophet-of-Prophets has the divine
authority and spiritual powers necessary to destroy the most evil and powerful forces of
darkness created by Ahereman. The Prophet-of-Prophets is of such a divine nature that
the malefic effects of Ahereman is as nothing to Him, but in accordance with the divine
plan of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda The Prophet-of-Prophets may not destroy Ahereman
now. There shall one day however come a time just before the universe is to be no more,
when Ahereman shall be given one last chance to repent and seek forgiveness. This force
of darkness is too malefic in nature to change for the better and so his destruction is
assured. Then there shall be Pak Dadar Ahuramazda and nothing else.
As part of the creation story, over and beyond the respective Divinities of Ameshaspands
and Yazads to whom we can pray to, there was created another group of Divinities.
Given power over the universe and both everything and everyone therein, The Pak
Magav Anjuman of Koh-e-Demavand is composed of 72 Sahebs and 6 Banus, whereby
each of them have virtually infinite powers and full knowledge of the past, present and
future. Destined to live and rule over the whole universe in conjunction with other
divine forces of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda, they like The Prophet-of-Prophets are divinely
connected to a period of 18 consecutive Zarvane Daregho Khadhats. Three words that
we recite in our daily prayers to indicate the time span between successive pre-ordained
global deluges on the Earth. Floods that in their respective eras are to be determined by
the specific position and orbit of the Earth around the Sun, so in the present age a
Zarvane Daregho Khadhat is destined to be in the region of somewhere in between
4,320,000 – 4,500,000 years. Yet when Asho Zarathushtra was last here on Earth that
time span was calculated as duration of some 81,000 years. Moreover then, as ordained
by Pak Dadar Ahuramazda, it falls upon The Prophet-of-Prophets to take birth on this
Earth just once in each Zarvane Daregho Khadhat. Whilst simultaneously in that same
time 180 Pak Magav Sahebs attain the highest rank of Pak Saroshavarez. So over the
complete cycle of 18 successive Zarvane Daregho Khadhats 3,240 Pak Saroshavarez
Sahebs merge to form a Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan Dovam which means ‘The Prophet in-
waiting’. Then when The Prophet-of-Prophets has completed His reign He takes from
the top of Garothman Behest all the spiritually most advanced Asho Ravaans to go with
Him and merge into Pak Dadar Ahuramazda. The Vakshur-e-Vakhuraan Dovam now
becomes The Prophet-of-Prophets and the cycle continues on, ad infinitum.
The birth of a Prophet-of-Prophets upon the Earth is an event of an immense
magnitude. For now besides doing all His duties from the spiritual realms The Prophet-
of-Prophets must now appear to live physically on the Earth for many thousands of
years. For just as His Din is destined to last for that entire Zarvane Daregho Khadhat
and beyond into the next such age, so too must all true Aryan Iranians be able to use this
religion to sustain the most superlative culture and civilization possible. So for example
even though we have but a minute fraction of historical data from the most recent
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Empires of Iran, it is an acknowledged fact that just about
everything in the world today owes its existence to ancient Iran. Truly we could write
mountains of books but for those who do not know Iran was a garden kingdom and so
the word Firdosh came from there. Just as the word Dehli which means the threshold,
also came from Iran. So too in fact did games like chess and backgammon, sports like
weight lifting, archery, and polo, a host of scientific achievements, styles of architecture
that has been copied the world over as have our stories been converted by countless
nations. Iran was a world leader in ship building, warfare, medicine and canal design.
Iranians gave humanity the first known declaration of human rights and there is one
Iranian King who is mentioned in the holy books of at least two other major world
religions. In the British Museum in London, England there is an account of the
exchange between the late Sassanian Shahnshah Yazdegard and the Arab leader after the
battle which decided the historically recent fate of Iran. We do most sincerely
recommend this for your reading pleasure as it verifies much of the above mentioned
and was written some 1,400 or so years ago.
By the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda no two Zarvane Daregho Khadhats are the same
and yet in each such age The Prophet-of-Prophets brings from Heaven a most holy fire
to be placed inside of the divine realm of Koh-e-Demavand. So when Asho Zarathushtra
last came to this Earth some 3,200,000 years ago He left the fire of Adar-e Burzin Meher
therein.
As the true Shah Nameh shows, just before the last pre-ordained global flood, one
Rainidar Saheb by the name of Soshyos came into Iran to lead our people to a place of
sanctuary. Known as Paamar this region exists in the North Polar ice cap and only
becomes inhabitable once the global flood has begun. An event pre-ordained to coincide
with a reduction in the Earth’s orbit around of the Sun, which results in a melting of
both polar ice caps such that the land mass of Earth now becomes submerged in water
almost entirely. However as the flood waters find their own level it is now that Paamar
comes into its own as a place of sanctuary for all true Mazdayasni Iranians. So from that
time until the advent of Asho Zarathushtra our religion was to be known as The
Mazdayasni Din. Thus when Asho Zarathushtra came, one of His first divine priorities
was to merge The Mazdayasni Din with The Zarathushti Din and so create The
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din.
Divinities like Asho Zarathushtra are thus invited to live upon the Earth and as such
exist far beyond earthly concepts of birth, marriage, children and death. Of course The
Paighambar Saheb had very great love for all but not being human except in appearance,
for Him there was no wife and family other than those destined to be known as the
mother and father in this world.
Sixteen days prior to Asho Zarathushtra’s birth Yazads, Ameshaspands, Fareshtas and
Asho Ravaans came to our earth on Roj Ashishvasang Mah Spendaarmad. The 17th day
of Roj Khordad Mah Fravardin was His birthday and then on the 18th day these divine
beings returned to Hasti, which is another name for our heavens above. For this reason
of The Prophet’s birth we have the celebration of Muktad whereby the word mukti
means deliverance. Thus Muktad is for only 18 days; no more no less in celebration of
The Prophet’s birth only.
Asho Zarathushtra came to establish a lasting religion, destroy the forces of evil, save
souls and grant spiritual advancement. One day many years later the force of darkness
that was second only to Ahereman and called Turbara Tur, thought to steal a rosary of
beads that belonged to The Prophet, because he believed them to contain the divine
power with which Asho Zarathushtra used to perform miracles. On reading this thought
Asho Zarathushtra purposely left the rosary beads outside an Atash Kadeh. This led to
Turbara Tur coming there at which time The Prophet used His divine powers to destroy
this force of darkness. Do please therefore ignore the false history and note that as Son
and He who stands next to Pak Dadar Ahuramazda, our beloved Paighambar Asho
Zarathushtra could not be harmed or ever die.
Of the many divine miracles performed by Asho Zarathushtra that we have already
mentioned there was that further one where by wearing a Sudreh gifted by Asho
Zarathushtra it was possible for our Rustom Pehelwan to become invulnerable to any
harm caused by weapons.
When Asho Zarathushtra returned into Iran His first point of destination was Shah
Gustasp palace from whence He would begin the establishment of The Mazdayasni
Zarathushti Din. At the court there were 4 immensely powerful forces of darkness
posing as pious and most knowledgeable courtiers to the Shah who as history records did
their utmost to destroy Asho Zarathushtra. When this proved impossible they resorted
to other means to blacken His image by planting all manner of black magical artifacts in
His quarters. Simultaneously with the vast powers of darkness at their behest they
completely darkened the sky and this resulted in great chaos and evil acts amongst the
people. They blamed this evil upon Asho Zarathushtra and asked Shah Gustasp to kill
Asho Zarathushtra. Shah Gustasp had deep respect and liking for Asho Zarathushtra and
whilst refusing to have Him killed, he reluctantly had Asho Zarathushtra imprisoned. Of
course The Prophet-of-Prophets as a Divinity in His own right and next ONLY to Pak
Dadar Ahuramazda exists at a level far beyond that which us lesser mortals must endure.
So bearing this in mind He is beyond any form of harm let alone death which simply
cannot be done to such as He. The Shah then asked these 4 courtiers that ‘if they were so
powerful then they should remove this darkness supposedly brought forth by Asho
Zarathushtra’. In this they failed completely, since forces of darkness can never create
light. It is now that Asho Zarathushtra invited the Shah to listen to His side of the story
with the condition that once proven the Shah, his wife Katayun, his entire family and all
true Aryan Iranians come to accept The Din of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda in the form of
The Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din. The Shah agreed and so Asho Zarathushtra now called
the night watchman who verified His story that these 4 evil courtiers had themselves
planted the incriminating evidence. Then when Shah Gustasp accepted The Din and
through recitation of Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao the blackness covering the East was
destroyed. As next the Shah’s wife and family followed by the entire Kingdom accepted
The Din, Asho Zarathushtra similarly wiped away the blanket of darkness in the other
quarters of the world.
There is a reference in history to this immense miracle and victory of good over evil that
the Shah had a horse which was ill due to its 4 legs being deeply imbedded in the
stomach. Then with the divine powers at His disposal Asho Zarathushtra cures the
horse. This story is wrong and in no way can match the true record of what was achieved
and why by The Prophet-of-Prophets Asho Zarathushtra. For as was inevitable Asho
Zarathushtra won every battle and brought the masses of all true Iranians into The
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din. The Shah then ordered that the 4 courtiers be captured
and killed immediately. The 4 forces of evil (in the form of these courtiers) made light of
their being captured and so laughing started to leave the court. It was now that Asho
Zarathushtra first stopped them and then personally destroyed all 4 of them. Remember
only Asho Zarathushtra is personally ordained by the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda to
kill each and everyone of Ahereman’s greatest creations of evil, whilst the lessor such
forces of darkness may be killed by other respective forces of Spenamino.
When here on Earth with no materialism inside of Him, Asho Zarathushtra casts no
shadow and never touches the ground when passing by. Consequently as previously
indicated above there was NO marriage, NO children and NO death. Finally when after
many thousands of years His time on Earth was finished, He ascended to heaven in the
company of many holy divine beings. The very last miracle that was witnessed by
millions of our people in Iran, such that on each 26th December we remember and
celebrate the anniversary of this most divine event.
We would like to draw your attention to Asho Zarathushtra’s clothes which in every
picture are just as those worn by a Dastoor. The sash on His person has 4 arcs to
represent specific non-Zarathushti religions over which Asho Zarathushtra, as The
Prophet-of-Prophets, also has absolute control. The stick with 9 knots upon it is
indicative of the 9 planets (Navgreh) whose influences cannot affect Asho Zarathushtra.
So important is the stick considered that it plays a role in the ceremony for Naavar and
Bareshnoom.
All throughout of The Shah Behram you will find emphasized the importance of
consecrated fire before which even Asho Zarathushtra bows, and the single most
important Avesta Manthra to glorify and praise Pak Dadar Ahuramazda. In other words
Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao that Asho Zarathushtra recited before performing every
single miracle ever done by Him. Simultaneously if you look at any true pictures of Asho
Zarathushtra you will see His right hand index finger held aloft and pointing to the sky
to indicate our Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din as the one eternal faith. In that self same
picture you will also note that His eyes look to the heavens above in due dedication to
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda. Before concluding please do not ever forget that as mentioned
in each and every Geh, NEXT to Pak Dadar Ahuramazda there stands The Prophet-of-
Prophets, a true SON of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda, The Lord of Garothman Behest and
our beloved Paighambar Saheb Asho Zarathushtra Spitmän.
This Naa Binai was a blind man living during the reign of Asho Zarathushtra who had
great faith and love for our Paighambar Saheb. But he lived very far away and so decided
to make a long journey to the capital city of Iran. Along the way he came to a river but
could not cross over when he was befriended by Asho Zarathushtra Who asked him why
he was there waiting to cross over the river. Naa Binai replied that he was on a journey
to be near to The Paighambar Saheb. For even though he could not see Him to just be
near, or hear His voice or even maybe to just touch His robes that would be enough.
Asho Zarathushtra now used His divine powers to take Naa Binai across the river and
then blessed him with sight. After taking a good long look of Asho Zarathushtra Naa
Binai said that his only ambition in life was fulfilled and so he asked Asho Zarathushtra
to remove the gift of sight. Our beloved Paighambar Saheb did this reluctantly but
thereafter took care of Naa Binai, the simple man with so much love, faith and
devotion.
The Shah of Hindustan on hearing of Asho Zarathushtra sent to the court of Iran his
greatest genius named Chandra Ghaas. Chandra means the moon and so is indicative of
someone with a great mind whilst Ghaas means conqueror. Thus Chandra Ghaas could
win over anyone by the power and brilliance of his mind. On coming to the court he
found that Asho Zarathushtra was not there but to return soon afterwards. Now
everyone, except Chandra Ghaas, stood up as a mark of respect for The Paighambar
Saheb. However upon seeing Asho Zarathushtra Chandra Ghaas’s inner eye was opened
and realizing his mistake threw himself at the feet of Asho Zarathushtra and asked for
forgivenss. Asho Zarathushtra then picked up Chandra Ghaas and declared him as Nar
Asho. In every Zarvane Daregho Khadhat only 9 Mazdayasni Zarathushtis may be
declared Nar Asho which is a superlatively high honour. Then Asho Zarathushtra told
Chandra Ghaas to go out and spread The Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din.
You see although there were many other countries like Hindustan in existence at that
time, the whole world was populated by people of The Mazdayasni Din since no other
religions were in existence then. Then after the merger there came into being The
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din that we have till this day and upto the time of the next
global flood.
Also living in that era was a very staunch follower of Asho Zarathushtra called Shanikat.
This man one day fell very ill and his wife tried to find Asho Zarathushtra to save him
but our Paighambar Saheb was away and so Shanikat died. On returning to that region
Asho Zarathushtra blessed the Ravaan of Shanikat with entry to Garothman Behest. At
the same time other people gathered nearby voiced the opinion that who would know if
Shanikat’s Ravaan actually went to Garothman Behest, for they were disbelievers. Asho
Zarathushtra offered to bring Shanikat back to life whilst metioning to his wife that his
Ravaan would not like to return to the Earth. Since his wife still asked for Sahnikat to be
made alive, Asho Zarathushtra brought back Shanikat’s Ravaan to make his body alive
once more and then stated that after his death his Ravaan could still go into the most
holy Garothman Behest. Another marvelous divine miracle which helped the masses of
our people to have faith, love and obedience for The Prophet-of-Prophets Asho
Zarathushtra, The Star of Iran.
We have included these 3 stories because faith is an absolute condition of religion and
also the best way in which to follow that religious belief. For in nature the greater that is
ones faith then the greater shall be ones reward.
In nature, there are 18 types of fire, the first seven types of fires, i.e. from Atash-e-
Shaedan to Atash-e-Berejishavang work in Hasti, i.e. immortal world, then Atash-e-Mino
Karko separate this Hasti from Nisti- i.e. mortal world. Those Atash from Vohufriyan to
Jamsheed work in Nisti and play a very important role for our world, and also take care
of planets, stars, sun, atmosphere, etc.
To rebuild the new Iran, since last 200 years Adar-Frah does its work in different places
of Iran and which many people have seen. This Atash does not require any substance
like wood etc to burn, but it perpetually burns on its own strength.
Our Vakshur-e-Vakshuran brought from Hasti – Adar-e-Burzin Meher into this world
which was seen to be burning in his palm as depicted by the ancient picture. He then
established Atash-Kadeh of Adar-e-Burzin Meher in Iran and used to pray inside
everyday. The greatest and most powerful evil spirit – Turbara Tur, a product of
Ahreman was destroyed when Asho Zarthushtra was praying inside this fire temple.
Asho Zarthushtra taught the people of this world how to establish different kinds of fire
temples:
Each fire should be taken to the place where the building of Aderan is constructed in the
open place. Each fire should be separately purified usually 3 times and put in different
vessels. After taking one vessel in Pavis, Mobeds should do a Yajashne and a Vandidad in
the name of Asho Sarosh Yazad. On second day, they should do a Yajashne and a
Vandidad in the name of Pak Dadar AhuraMazda. Similarly they should do for other
three Atash separately. After finishing all the above ceremonies they should combine all
four consecrated Atash into one vessel containing Atash of priest. They should then
perform one Yajashne and one Vandidad in the name of Asho Sarosh Yazad on this
combined Atash. Then next day in the morning they do a Yajashne in the name of Pak
Dadar AhuraMazda. Now the sanctum sanctorum and the whole building should be
consecrated. Befoe taking consecrated Atash into sanctum sanctorum the three days
ceremonies should be done, i.e., one Yajashne and one Vandidad for three days in the
name of Asho Sarosh Yazad. On the fourth day – one Yajashne, Baaj and Afringhan in
the memory of the builder outside sanctum sanctorum in other Pavis should be done.
Next day in early Haven Geh the consecrated Atash which is now known as Atash
Aderan should be taken to sanctum sanctorum and put on a big copper vessel which is
also consecrated before hand. The first Boye ceremony should be then performed in the
presence of all Zarthostis. After that Jashan ceremony should be done in the name of
Anjuman. That completes the ceremony of Aderan.
Hence, the importance of Atash in the Mazdayasni Zarathushti religion is very clear.
When a Zarathushti bows to Atash Behram or Aderan, he/she gets gift of Atash-e-Mino
Karko along with Khoreh of Behram Yazad which are very valuable for the advancement
of Ravaan and also for well being in the worldly life. Those who serve and protect the
fire get the highest type of Behest.
Before we close this chapter you should know that Chinvat also contains 9 Tabre or
pathways that are as follows –
1. Tabre Khaas - this is exclusively for use by The Prophet Asho Zarathushtra for
when He travels between heaven and earth.
2. Tabre Avval - for Pak Magavs, Abeds and Asho Ravaans.
3. Tabre Aam - for use by spiritually advanced Ravaans.
4. Tabre Nim - which is for ordinary Ravaans and
5. Tabre Sim - for Ravaans whose last human incarnations committed very great
sins.
Now we come to Tabre Chehaaroom that covers the Tabre numbers 6 – 9 relating to the
souls or as we call them Aatmaas, of the people who are not of our faith. They in
accordance with the divine will of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda remain closed forever except
for those times when a Rainidar Saheb comes to the Earth and chooses specific Aatmaas
for having attained 72 Aspandi, i.e. degrees of spiritual advancement. Then after death
of that Aatmaas’s human incarnation for the very first time that Aatmaas can travel
through the respective Tabre Chehaaroom into Chinvat and beyond. Consequently
whilst the whole aspect of conversion lies beyond the remit of us who live and die on
Earth, for The Rainidar Saheb this is a part of his divine mission to identify and advance
such Aatmaas. For only he can see who qualifies to be so blessed and so his judgement
must prevail over all others. The Heavens/Dakhyus for all other faiths we actually recite
when praying Meher Nyaish and so we can tell you specifically that Oopairi Dakhyu is
the heaven for the Hindus. Adhairi Dakhyu heaven is split into two levels of which one
level is for the Jews and the other one is for the Muslims. Finally there is the Pairi
Dakhyu heaven that is for the Christians.
After this preliminary we prepare the foundation for outer wall, centre well and four
channels. Now on the proper day chosen to start the ceremony of Tana, two Mobeds
who had undergone new Nahn ceremony should go into the foundation with 301 nails
as mentioned above, cotton thread and hammer and do Baaj ceremony. After that take
Sarosh Baaj and recite up to “Ashe”, make contact with each other and start hammering
each nail as follows –
1. First in the center of well [P].
2. Then each nail in four corners starting from S-E, S-W, N-W and N-E – H, I, M,
O
3. Then nine nails in each direction starting from South, East, West and North,
[Y and R].
4. Each channel – 32 nails (16 on each side) starting from S-E, S-W, N-W and N-E.
5. Last four nails A1, A2, A3 and A4 as shown.
With hammering of each nail Yatha Ahu Vairyo should be recited. Then the cotton
thread should be tied to nails as follows: Starting from S-E nail H draw towards South
nail from the holes to R1 to Y2, then R3 to Y4, then R-5, Y-6, R-7,Y-8, R-9 and go to
south west big nail [I] in the bottom holes, then similarly go towards West, and take the
threads through bottom holes, then go N-W big nail M, then go towards North and
insert the thread through all nine nails and go to N-E big nail O and similarly go towards
East. Thus the first round is complete. Similarly with continuation of thread take second
round.
Then the same thread is to be taken to each channel where 32 nails on either side are
there V1 and finally to A-1 outside channel and again go to H nail and then all nine
nails of the south and come to another channel. Similarly while completing the third
round the thread should be taken to all channels. Both the Mobeds while doing this
Tana continuously recite “Yatha Ahu Vairyo prayer”. Then finally the thread is to be
taken to big nail in the center [P] and the thread is tied around the nail like Kusti knots.
It should be remembered that the thread while tying should not break. This completes
the preparation of Tana.
Then both the Mobeds come out of Dokhma precinct and complete the Baaj after
“Ashahe”. Afterwards our workers will start building Dokhma with Pavis and the well in
the center. The Pavis will be built inside Dokhma separately for men, women, and
children and are made of different sizes (Figure 2). The well should be 1/3rd of outer
circumference of Dokhma and 9 feet deep. The Pavis are of different sizes and standard
measurements as recorded in appropriate books contained within our respective
religious libraries inside of India. After completing the construction the consecration of
Dokhma will start.
The temporary consecration of all Pavis will be done by a cotton thread and taken down
to the well where two seats made of stone (Hidoras) are put and connected with this
thread. Then the two pairs of Mobeds do Yajashne on these Hidoras with all the Alaats
in the name of Asho Sarosh Yazad and do 3 Yajashne and 3 Vandidad – one on each
day. On the fourth day they do Dadar Ahuramazda’s Yajashne. Then they do four Baaj
in-
1. the name of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda
2. the name of Spendarmad Ameshaspand
3. then Asho Sarosh Yazad, and
4. then Ardafravash.
Then they come out of Dokhma and then in the nearby space in the presence of general
public they do Jashan ceremony. After finishing the Jashan, they pray Dooa Tandarosti
in the name of the person who financed this project.
When Mobeds do Yajashne, Vandidad ceremony in the well, the vibrations of the
manthravanis are absorbed by the Tana cotton thread and it remains there for
thousands of years.
Our Minocher Saheb was the first to give proper explanation why Tana ceremony is
required. He said when the dead body is put in Pavis of Dokhma, immediately
Manthravani absorbed by the thread encircles the body continuously so that no evil
spirit can harm it and it breaks the last one-third part of worldly attachment. Now the
Ravaan is completely ready to go to the other part, i.e. heaven and simultaneously the
Ravaan becomes so joyous it cannot remember anything about this world.
It is customary to put the first body in new Dokhma of a child or a pious old man.
The gate of Dokhma should be kept in the East.
The reason for taking iron nails is that all the Druj of the dead body is completely
absorbed by the nails. As we know when Saturn is malefic in the horoscope, the
astrologer advises us to wear iron ring.
The details for construction of Dokhma are from Baaj Dharnu and Pav Mahal Kriya by
the Late Ervad Hormazd Pavri.
2. Bahman Ameshaspand prayer has the power to grant virtually any wish, such is its
power. Now removed from The Khordeh Avesta through misuse in the past, here is a
prayer kept for the best of the best. It is advisable not to eat meat on this Roj for the
following reasons -
2) On this Roj, the position of the Sun acquires such an angle that all the 'Hevanyat'
(beastly qualities) contained in the meat assumes enormous proportions.
c) Adar Yazad.
Such is his status that even Asho Zarathushtra bows to Him with folded hands. He is the
bestower of the vital energies like lightning, heat, light, etc. Lightning and electricity are
other forms of Ardibehest Ameshaspand and, therefore it is in order for us to pray in
the presence of an electric light. A fact should be noted at this stage that it is highly
improper (actually a sin) to pray in total darkness, as darkness is the symbol of
'Ghenamino' (Satan) just as any from of 'Light' symbolizes 'Spenamino' (Good Spirit).
Ardibehest Ameshaspand is the destroyer of all evil forces and the person who worships
Him with full faith is pardoned for his sins and his place is assured in Heaven.
As per the tenets of our religion, a lamp (cherag) is kept burning in the same place for
four days even after the disposal of the body. It is meritorious to recite the prayer of
'Atash Niyaesh' nine times on Ardibehest Roj. A child born on this Roj makes
significant progress spiritually though that child may lag behind in worldly affairs.
5. Spendarmad Ameshaspand.
Asfandarmad Ameshaspand is also known as Spenta Armaity and has supremacy over
the earth. A child born on this day does not enjoy a happy family life. We owe good
rains to this Ameshaspand that results in better fertility of the land over which she is
responsible. Please remember that one of the great deeds a human could perform on
this day is to feed a hungry mouth then impart knowledge.
6. Khordad Ameshaspand is also referred to as 'Haurvatat' and has supremacy over water
and sky. He aids us to develop our talents towards the seeking of knowledge. Anyone
suffering from disease due to water would benefit by worshiping Khordad
Ameshaspand. It is not auspicious to enter into a new venture on this Roj except on
Khordad Sal, which is the birthday of Asho Zarathushtra and hence very auspicious and
a day of merry making. A child born on Khordad Roj is unlucky but religious minded.
Avoid hair cut, shave and nail pruning on this Roj.
7. Amardad Ameshaspand is also known as 'Ameretat' and has supremacy over cattle and
vegetation. He is blessed with the power to grant immortality. In ancient Iran, the
sowing of seeds was carried out on this day because the seeds sown on this day never
failed to yield good crops. The ancient Kings of Iran used to personally inaugurate the
farming season after the first seasonal rains. The farmers in general, prior to sowing
operations on this Roj, used to worship Amardad Ameshaspand and recited his name
repeatedly during the farming operations, which resulted in fertility of the land. A child
born on this day is considered fortunate. If one sees a snake in one's dream then it is
considered beneficial to oneself.
8. Daepadar Dadar is the chief helper of Adar Yazad. One who worships him by
performing his Yajashne regularly every year is bestowed with the highest degree of
Behest (heaven) by Adar Yazad. A person doing charity on this day is considered as a
very fruitful deed. It is considered auspicious to start construction work on this day. Also
the recovery of a person is faster if he falls sick on this day. Daepadar Dadar assists Pak
Dadar Ahuramazda and is referred to as Dadar because he is a part of Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda.
9. Adar Yazad.
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda emanated Khoreh from within Himself and said: "O Holy
Atash, I designate you as the supreme authority over Behest. You will descend to the
earth and bring joy and prosperity to all through your illuminating appearance. To those
who will respect and worship you, you shall have the authority to bestow upon them the
deserving degree of Behest, and to those who disrespect you, you may give them any
punishment that you may deem fit. You will be known to the world as Ardibehest and
Adar and the key to the 'Behest' will always be entrusted to you. You will have the
supremacy over any form of light, because the existence of any light is due to you alone.
A person who worships you will acquire wisdom besides attaining all happiness. A
person doing charity on this day will derive its benefit a thousand fold and will have all
his wishes granted. You will be worshiped even by kings and Prophets, for they will
attain their goals only through you, because you are my Son (Aathro Ahurahe Mazdao
Puthra) and next to me, you alone will be omnipotent.”
A person attains his goal in life by worshipping this Yazad. Avan Ardisur Banu is usually
worshipped for forty days continuously and on the forty-first day it is recommended to
visit Atash Behram or Atash Adran without fail. One should, of course, visit Atash
Behram or Atash Adran every day, but in this case it is recommended that on the forty-
first day, one should go to the Fire Temple and offer thanks to the Atash Padshah for
granting him the good fortune of completing forty days worship of Avan Ardivisur
Banu. During his worship of forty days, the person should observe the same time and
place and should recite the prayers in front of the sea, river or well water, which is
considered appropriate. Any single wish of the person praying Avan Yasht for forty days
is fulfilled.
On this earth, Avan Ardivisur Banu is especially assigned the work of bestowing wisdom
and piety. She also bestows upon us good health, wealth and a pleasant disposition of
mind. To commence farming operations on this Roj or any other household work is
considered auspicious. It is not advisable to loan or borrow anything on this day. A
person falling ill on this day does not recover fast. If a person separates from his family
and goes away on this day, he finds the reconciliation very difficult. A child born on this
day is very fortunate and victorious in life. After reciting the prayer of Avan Yasht, one
should address Avan Yazad as 'Mai" or 'Madar' (i.e. Mother). Just as we do not pray in the
darkness, we also do not pray before water after sunset.
The light of Earth and other planets is provided by Khorshed Yazad, and the fourth
"Aasman” is known as 'Aasman of Khorshed'. People with weak eyesight who worship
Khorshed Yazad will have their vision improved as this Yazad has the power to bless us
with Roshni (vision). This light energy from Khorshed Yazad destroys the squalor and
filth from the surface of this earth. By carefully administering the rays of the sun on the
human body it is possible to check or cure the ailments of the heart and spleen. This
Yazad destroys the forces of evil from the earth's surroundings. It is also advisable to pray
in the presence of sunlight. We repeat that praying in the darkness should be avoided at
all costs as it is considered a great sin (Margazan Gunah). The book on Rivayats also
bears ample testimony against praying in total darkness. A very fortunate and advanced
soul is born on this day.
12. Mohor Yazad has supremacy over the moon (Mahabokhtar) and aids the growth of
vegetation. He also has supremacy over the first Varsiaji (white bull) born after the
advent of Gayomard. It is said that a person who performs the ceremony of Baaj on this
Roj will have his wish granted to an extent depending upon his stars. It is also
appropriate to pray 'Mahabokhtar Niyaesh' on this day. A person who dreams on this
day will see his dream come true within the next five days. Mohor Yazad has close
relation with Berjis Aasman and hence considered very auspicious. By worshipping
Mohor Yazad and Mino Ashiswang a person stands to gain financially.
If one sees a snake in one's dream on this Roj, it would result in making more enemies.
A thing lost on this Roj can be traced easily, and to start something new on this Roj is
considered auspicious. Mahabokhtar rules over the mind and hence the prayer of
Mahabokhtar Niyaesh purifies our mind to a great extent. It destroys the chain of
unhealthy thoughts and assists us to perform nobler deeds. A child born on this day is
fortunate.
13. Teshter Tir Yazad has supremacy over rain and the rain on this earth is not possible
without Tir Yazad. This Yazad is supreme over other stars and planets and grants us long
life. Charity on this day is considered good. People with weak eyesight should worship
this Yazad. Releif in any ailment of the back is obtained by praying Tir Yasht. The
sickness prolongs in the case of a person falling ill on this day.
14. Gosh Yazad blesses all those who pray to Him with health, strength and prosperity,
of which it is strength that is His primary gift. He is the protector of Gospands, i.e.,
animals with split hooves, over whom Behman Ameshaspand has overall supremacy. It is
Gosh Yazad that also guards the Gospands against evil spirits and prevents them from
being destroyed. The great ancient Kings of Iran were assisted by this Yazad as was the
world renowned Pehelwan Rustom when fighting the great Pehelwan of Turan called
Pilsam. So great and mighty was the opponent that victory was undecided when they
parted for rest in the afternoon. It is said that during this period Rustom cleaned his
body with water from the stream, and worshipped Sarosh Yazad and Gosh Yazad. When
Rustom was through with his prayers, Khoreh (Divine Light/Aura) appeared before him
which divided into two. One Part said, 'O Rustom, I am Sarosh Yazad and I wish you
success in your battle.' The other Part said, ' O Rustom, I am Gosh Yazad and I give you
back the extra strength and energy which you had shed from your body and which I had
drawn within me.' After this, the battle was once again resumed and Rustom emerged
victorious by lifting his opponent like a child and throwing him on the earth. Gosh
Yazad rendered similar assistance to Padshah Kaikhushroo in defeating Afrasiyab.
It is considered auspicious to worship this Yazad for forty days without consuming the
flesh of Gospands, which enables one to acquire strength and health. A person falling ill
on this Roj recovers fast. We are forbidden to slaughter Gospands on this Roj.
It is considered most auspicious to embark on any new project on this day like arranging
a marriage, taking a new job, starting the education of a child, investing money, buying
property etc. In Baaten (Demavand Kas), parents start imparting religious knowledge
and teaching prayers to children on this day. It is considered auspicious to take Nahan
on this day. One should recite maximum prayers on this day for the resultant reward is
quick. A child born on this day is very wise and intelligent and the recovery is faster for a
person falling sick on this day.
It is highly recommended to recite a special prayer on this Roj, which comprises of 999
'Yatha Ahu Vairio' and 333 'Ashem Vohu'. This prayer when dedicated to Daepmeher
Dadar helps in averting great misfortunes, and overcomes calamities and disasters in
one's life.
16. Meher Yazad has supremacy over all the Atash within our body. On the morning of
the fourth day (i.e. Chaharum) after death this Yazad delivers judgement to a ravan. The
person who worships this Yazad acquires straightforwardness because this Yazad
advocates faithfulness, honesty and integrity. He is assisted in this task by Mino Ram
Yazad. Meher Yazad decides the duration of time for a particular ravan in the state of
Seshab i.e. Repentance and Mental torture. It is beneficial to recite the prayer of Meher
Niyaesh and Yasht, and have the Meher Baaj performed in the memory of the departed
Ravaan’s and living Mazdayasni Zarathushtis also. It is good to go hunting on this day.
On Meherangan, which is the day of Meher Roj and Meher month, it is advisable to eat
meat and Naan, i.e. unleavened bread. A child born on this day is very fortunate.
17. Asho Sarosh Yazad is paramount over Mazdayasni Zarathushti religion and every
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Ravaan is under the special care of this Yazad during the first
three days after his death. This Yazad is a close associate of Behman Ameshaspand, who
is the protector of Gospands, and for this reason we are forbidden to consume the flesh
of a Gospand for the first three days. This Yazad has no form but is full of Khoreh only.
He delivers the message from Dadar Ahuramazda and inspires us.
This Yazad has the structure (fabric) of Mathrawani because prior to any worldly
creation when Pak Dadar Ahuramazda first uttered the word 'Ahu', it formed the
combination of Manthravani, which was called Sarosh Yazad. This Yazad is also
designated as Sarosh Asho, because the Ashoi (Piety) that emerged from Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda ultimately merged with Sarosh Yazad. He has the guard of 16 Yazads on
either side of him. It is said that Sarosh Yazad maintains overall watch seven times on
this earth during the night, which destroys all evil spells from the surface of the earth. A
Zarathushti who recites Sarosh Yasht Vadi at night is protected against evil. His assistant
by the name of 'Morg' renders service to Sarosh Yazad. The voice of 'Morg' destroys all
evil spirits, and it is the Rooster (male chicken) who has the power to hear this voice and
the Rooster himself crows by which evil spirits scatter. This is the very reason why this
bird is a close associate of Sarosh Yazad. Our religion therefore forbids us to eat the
Rooster, i.e., the male amongst chicken. It is auspicious to hear the rooster crowing. A
Ravaan during its journey through Chinvat is under the protection of Sarosh Yazad and
is also assisted by him in its progress. Any Mazdayasni Zarathushti who indulges in anti-
religious activities is denied the protection of Sarosh Yazad after his death. He is not
granted pardon for such un-Godly deeds. By anti-religious we specifically mean any
Mazdayasni Zarathushtis who write/speak against the religion, make changes in our
Avesta Manthravani or portray Pak Dadar Ahuramazda in an inferior manner. One
should therefore stay away as far as is possible from such people because whilst sins may
ultimately be forgiven, those committed against our religion are not. Also one never gets
protection of Asho Sarosh Yazad and ultimately that Mazdayasni Zarathushti regresses to
finally cease to being of our faith.
18. Rashne Rast Yazad is the Lord of Justice and Righteousness. In association with
three other Yazads (Meher, Sarosh, and Astaad) he delivers justice to Ravaan after death
of last human incarnation. In other words they decide the duration of stay for a Ravaan
in 'Seshab' (penance and mental torture). This Yazad is extremely kind and through his
personal appearance a Ravaan gets a lot of consolation in its state of Seshab, and his
suffering and difficulties are also minimized in that state. This Yazad is empowered to
reduce the duration of stay for a Ravaan in Seshab condition.
It is said that whatever amount of good and bad deeds are done by a Ravaan's last human
incarnation, the stay of that Ravaan in 'Hamestegan' is prolonged upto a maximum of
thirteen months. It is for this reason that the ceremony of Nirangdin is performed for a
Ravaan after a period of thirteen lunar months (after death). To eliminate the malefic
effect of stars we should pray Rashne Yasht.
19. Farrokh Farvadin is paramount over 'Farohar' and is also their guardian. This Yazad
is the guardian of Behest. The Ravaans of Hoshedar Baami, Hoshedar Mah and Soshyos
are under the care of this Yazad. These three Prophets will take birth on this earth
before the completion of the present Zarvane Daregho Khadat (one Zamana) and assist
in the uplift of the Zarathushti religion. Today Farvardin Yazad together with 99,999
'Fravashis' guards the body of Pehelwan Kersasp which is in a dormant state and who
will revive one day to wage war with Zohak and foil his attempts to destroy the world. It
is recommended not to eat meat of Gospand on this Roj. It is beneficial to begin any
auspicious work on this day. It is highly recommended to go to 'Farvardian' (Dokhma)
on Roj Farvadin and month Farvadin. If such visits are equivalent to or more than one
third of your life span then it helps tremendously in achieving the progress of ones
Ravaan.
20. Behram Yazad bestows upon us the element of success. Padshah Kaikhushru
achieved victory over Afrasiayab by worshipping this Yazad. The evil attacks of
Ahereman at night are counter acted by this Yazad. It is said that evil spirits descend
upon this earth during darkness and especially during the period between 12 and 3 in
the night (local time) which period is known as 'Gaasak'. However, such attacks are
nullified by the Khoreh (Aura) of Behram Yazad that drives away the evil spirits. These
evil spirits do not attack in the form of human beings but blow through as wind or come
from the direction of Apakhtar (north) in the form of darkness. This evil wind is often
responsible for sea storms. Such evil spirits are destroyed by Behram Yazad and for this
reason he is known as the protector of the sea. Please remember that evil spirits descend
upon this earth in the form of darkness and it is for this reason that we are forbidden to
pray in total darkness. Darkness is connected with Ahereman whereas any form of light
has connections with Spenamino and it is therefore advisable to have any form of light
while praying during night. Even an electric light is considered good for this purpose
because electricity is another form of lightning, which is the main weapon of this Yazad.
When the period of Gaasak ends, Behram Yazad entrusts the task of protecting the earth
to Sarosh Yazad, Rashne Yazad and Astaad Yazad.
A person who is under the influence of bad stars or is suffering from prolonged illness is
advised to pray the following Nirang of Behram Yazad 108 times -
A child born on this day is considered very lucky. Behram Yazad descends upon this
earth in different forms. The following is the best method of worshipping Behram
Yazad:
a) First purify the body with a bath, and thereafter with the application of Nirang.
b) Then prepare food with purity and cleanliness and offer the same to Behram Yazad.
The offering is made by keeping the food on a Barsam and reciting the prayer. (Barsam
is a white piece of washed cloth folded three times).
At the break of dawn on the fourth day after death (i.e. Chahrum Baamdad), this Yazad
accompanies a Ravaan on its journey through Girde Shuma that is a path formed out of
the Khoreh of Asho Zarathushtra to Chinvat. Upon seeing this Yazad the Ravaan feels
overjoyed. A child born on this day is not very lucky. It is good to start any new job on
this day.
22. Govad Yazad enjoys supremacy over wind. Among all other Yazads, this Yazad plays
a vital role in human lives. The existence of a human life even for a minute is impossible
without the help of this Yazad as death is instantaneous due to suffocation. Gospands, as
also the winged birds, are under the overall charge of this Yazad. The rain comes as per
his wishes. During conditions of drought and famine it is recommended to worship
Govad Yazad for he blesses us with rain and ultimate prosperity. A child born on this
day is usually lazy and refuses to put his heart into work. Even the most weak of people
acquire a good degree of strength by worshipping this Yazad, as he has the power to bless
us with strength.
23. Daepdin Dadar is also a close associate of Rashne Rast Yazad. We are able to perform
noble deeds with the help of this Yazad. It is recommended to begin any auspicious work
on this Roj. It is good to wear new clothes and indulge in prayers on this Roj. To
purchase Gospand is considered auspicious on this day. A person who falls seriously ill
on this day ultimately recovers. It is good to worship this Yazad on this Roj after your
daily prayers in the following manner - first perform the usual Kusti and then recite
'Daepdin Dadar Beresad' 108 times. This Yazad is especially assigned the work of The
Mazdayasni Zarathushti religion.
It is with the permission and guidance of this Yazad that Rainidar Saheb carries out
certain changes in our religious prayers in conformity with the prevalent era. If on this
Roj an animal is saved from the blade of a butcher by a persons help, then one has
performed a highly meritorious act. Also by performing this act one is granted pardon
for his sins to a great extent. To feed animals in captivity is considered highly auspicious
on this Roj. A child born on this day is very fortunate.
24. Din Yazad is especially helpful to unhappy women. It is said that her position is
second to Sarosh Yazad in 'Asho'. She even grants forgiveness to sinners and renders
assistance to them. Through Her we acquire a great deal of courage and are able to
perform the most difficult tasks. This Yazad is known to cure our sickness and ailments
and miseries. For any ailing person it is advisable to recite Din Yasht and thereafter
recite Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao whilst passing one's hand over the ailing person's
body. Like other Yazads She is the guardian of our religion and hence entrusted with the
task of destroying Arvai (evil spirits). The evil spirits fear this Yazad the most because
their very existence is destroyed by the mere mention of her name or sight. A child born
on this day is not very fortunate and usually has a short life. It is also advisable not to
start any auspicious work on this day and to remain occupied with religious work.
If at any time a person gets lost in a lonely spot where one is harassed or attacked by evil
spirits then it is advisable to recite loudly 'Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao' and while
praying draw a circle. One should stand within that circle and and recite ' Din Yazad
Beresad' nine times and after this continue to recite 'Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao' once
again. By doing this one can drive away the worst possible evil spirit.
25. Mino Ashishvang resides over wealth and happiness, and especially over the metal
gold. Through her we are able to achieve fame in life. One who asks for the blessings of
Mino Ashishvang is always blessed by this Angel. We are able to acquire all material
benefits like health, wealth, prosperity and happy family life by worshipping this Yazad.
A father who does not get his daughter married, incurs this Yazads displeasure. This
Yazad was worshipped by emperors like Hoshang, Jamshid, Faridoon, Kaikhushru,
Gustap and Pehelwan Hom, and even by Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan Asho Zarathushtra. It is
auspicious to perform marriage on this day and a child born on this day proves
fortunate, though many a times grows to be a miser. It is advisable to pray Ashishvang
Yasht for forty days, preferably in the same Geh and and in the same place. It is also
recommended to pray 'Mino Ashishvang Beresad' one lakh and eight thousand times in
forty days if unable to recite the prayer of Ashishvang Yasht.
Mino Ashishvang is also known as the daughter of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda, sister of
Asho Zarathushtra and daughter of Aspandard Ameshaspand -a female Fareshta. She is
also known to be the sister of Meher, Sarosh, and Rashne Yazads.
26. Ashtaad Yazad.
"ALBURZ' mountain range is considered most sacred amongst all others because 'Kuh-e-
Demavand' is one of the mountains therein in which the sacred 'Kas' of Magav Sahebs is
situated. It is within this Kas that Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan has established 'Hasti' on this
earth and proof of this is indicated in the ninth Karda of Sarosh Yasht Vadi. Ashtad
Yazad is supreme over this mountain. He enjoys supremacy over the virtue of 'Truth'.
Someone who stands by the truth, helps the poor and risks his life for the cause of truth,
is able to win the appreciation of this Yazad who also renders assistance to him/her in
every possible way. He also acquires the worldly happiness as also the eternal happiness.
A person who worships this Yazad is rewarded with wealth by Mino Ashishwang.
This Yazad in conjunction with Rashne Rast, Sarosh and Meher Yazads looks after a
Ravaan during its journey through Chinvat and in the condition of Seshab. They also
decide the duration of stay for a Ravaan in that condition. A child born on this day is
considered fortunate.
Our Minocher Saheb has imparted to us very limited knowledge of this Yazad as per the
advice of The Pak Magav Sahebs. We do however know that the space around the earth
is watched over by this Yazad. He is supreme over all the Rashis and Nakshtras in all
their degrees and also over all the planets. He also has supremacy over the seven
Keshwars and over metals in common. Any new metal is introduced through this Yazad
in to this world. He gifts us with good health.
28. Jamyad Yazad has supremacy over the earth. He maintains watch over certain
mountains of the world. These mountains are 2244 in number. Amongst all the
mountains of the world these few have been specially selected which are helpful in
protecting farmers, Athornans and Rathestars. Jamayad Yazad possesses the Khoreh of
Ahu which was first bestowed upon Padshah Hoshang and thereafter upon Tehmurasp,
Jamshid, Faredoon and Pehelwan Kershasp and many other advanced Ravaans. This
Khoreh was ultimately acquired by Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan and is since under the care of
Jamyad Yazad. This Khoreh in the end will be bestowed upon Soshyos who will perform
miracles with its help. Many tried to acquire this Khoreh but their attempts met with
failure. Even Ghenamino, in order to defeat Fareshtas, tried to acquire this Khoreh with
the help of Akoman Dev, Aeshem Dev and others. When Ghenamino almost succeeded
in his attempts, Spenamino solicited help from Behman Ameshaspand, Ardibehest
Ameshaspand and Adar Yazad and saved The Khoreh. Finally when they themselves
found it difficult to safeguard this Khoreh, they decide to request assistance from Pak
Dadar Ahura Mazda and with this view in mind they recited a prayer together at the
same time which prevented Ahereman from achieving his wish. This prayer is none
other than 'Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao' that not only defeated evil but compelled
Ghenamino to flee with his associates. It is good to begin any auspicious work on this
day.
29. Mino Marespand is supreme over our ancient Mathrawani. This Yazad is pleased
with persons who recite prayers every day and looks after them. It is extremely beneficial
to ask for His blessings at the end of your prayers that are duly accorded by Him. He is
supreme over all the Aasmans. By virtue of his Khoreh the 'daruji' of Ahereman is
driven away. He is also supreme over knowledge and wisdom, and hence extremely
pleased with a person who puts them to better use. Mino Marespand is a guardian of the
Mazdayasni Zarathushti religion of the highest order. It is again Mino Marespand who
helps in liberating a Ravaan in the best manner to reach heaven. He bestows upon us the
supreme state of mind, body and prosperity. It is good to think of Mino Marespand
whenever our thoughts go astray. Anyone who remembers Him very often achieves one's
Ravaan bokhtagi and a higher class of Behest. One who helps in propagating our Avesta
Mathrawani, the true knowledge of our religion, the worship of Ardibehest and one who
renders service to Atash acquires the highest form of appreciation from this Yazad and
through His help attains Ahuramazda.
30. Mino Aneran is the Lord of Roshni (Light). Many a times this Yazad acquires the
form of a bird (Garud). He carries out the commands of Dadar Ahuramazda. This Yazad
is also supreme over all the metals and and is the creator of new metals on this earth.
This Yazad is responsible for the infinite Roshni of Garothman, and also bestows upon
us everlasting happiness. Mino Aneran together with other Yazads is responsible in
assisting the progress of a Ravaan in its journey through Chinwat. One acquires peace
and prosperity and the progress of one's Khoreh through worshipping him. If one
worships this Yazad for a long time by reciting the following Avesta Mathrawani, one is
able to achieve total happiness during one's lifetime and even after life in the Minoi
Jehan (Eternal world) -
31. Burjo Yazad has been especially designated by Pak Dadar Ahuramazda to look after
the land of 'Saroshavaej' and also after Alburz mountainin range in which is situated
'Koh-e-Demavand which has the Kas of the Pak Magav Sahebs. He guards the land of
Iran, i.e., the land of Saroshavaej, and looks after the welfare of The Mazdayasni
Zarathushti religion. He brings rain on Mt. Demavand spreading it over Iran and
thereby making the land fertile and prosperous.
To bury the dead and erect graves is totally disliked by this Yazad, hence why the custom
of Dokhmenashini started in Iran. It is because of the erection of graves during the reign
of the Muslims, that the land is no longer under the care of Burjo Yazad. This Yazad
imparts intelligence to Kings. He is the chief custodian of Hasti which has been
established in Demavand by our Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan, and proof of which is seen in
the ninth karda of 'Sarosh Yasht Vadi'.
32. Hom Yazad gifts us with strength and also blesses us with healthy children. Through
him we are also able to overcome our suffering in life. The person who says 'Yatha Ahu
Vairyo' in his remembrance is able to acquire wisdom and prosperity. An unmarried girl
who worships this Yazad through her heart of hearts is blessed with a kind and noble
husband. The worship of this Yazad prevents us from coming in contact with unsocial
elements and also prevents that worshipper from being the victim of revenge. Both
Sarosh Yazad and Mino Ashishvang bless the person and maintain watch over his house
if that person worships Hom Yazad daily.
It is recommended to worship this Yazad on the morning of the fourth day (i.e.
Chahrum) after a Zarthushtis death because He is the guardian of Mazdayasni
Zarathushti Ravaan. A Ravaan is unable to enter Behest without passing through the
barrier (Chowkie) of Daham Yazad. All Ravaans require the assistance of this Yazad after
departing from this world and also at the time of birth.
These Gathas are part and parcel of the Yajashne ceremony that is to be performed by
Mobed Sahebs only. They are not for recitation by the common people but should they
still wish to do so then it may be recited during the Muktad period of when the Gathas
fall five days before Jamshedi Navroze on 21st March. They should not be recited during
Shahenshai or Kadmi Muktad for the simple reason that these Muktads are not
accurate.
First Gatha of Ahunavad that is recited separately in the Geh Sarna ceremony near the
dead body is a very powerful weapon in disassociating the Ravaan from all worldly
attachments. It is for this reason that a pregnant woman who carries the child in her
womb should not remain present during this recitation because the child which has yet
to come into this world, may become mentally deranged or mentally weak when he/she
grows up since the vibrations from this Ahunavad Gatha directly targets the mind of the
child in the womb and does not allow it to concentrate in the worldly affairs when
growing up. This has been proved beyond anybody's doubt and shows the power of our
prayer. Even if a grown-up man recites Ahunavad Gatha daily then his mental state will
be severely disturbed. Similarly, the other Gathas also should not be recited by the
common people as they too will have some other bad effects. Consequently only the
priests, that is to say Mobeds, have right to recite these Gathas and that too only when
they are performing the Yajashne ceremony.
Since the scholars/academics started translating The Avesta Mathravani, they came to
conclusion that the Gathas are divine songs sung by Asho Zarathushtra. Thus according
to such people the Gathas take precedence to such an extent that all other Avestas that
were written by other priests who came after Asho Zarathushtra get rejected. This is
their greatest fallacy because nobody can judge what is Avesta unless they happen to be a
spiritually advanced being of our faith. For instance when no scholar/academic can even
make a simple sentence in The Avesta like (a) how do you do? (b) where do you come
from, etc, then how can they say the other Avestas are later Avesta? Even for the smaller
prayer like Yatha Ahu Vairyo with 21 words there are more than 50+ different
translations from which no one knows that which is correct. So just how can you
translate the Gathas which are so divine and form Mathravani unless you are a Divinity
like Asho Zarathushtra, or as explained elsewhere a Rainidar Saheb? It is the result
oriented Mathravani and the entire Mathravani which is existing at present that is divine
and so should be prayed with full faith. No human being can therefore talk in the Avesta
because this is not a language but the force of vibrations used by Divine Beings, such as
for instance the Yazads, Ameshapands and Fareshtas to create an effect for the good and
smooth running of the religion in heaven and on earth. The scholars have given too
much importance to Gathas on the basis of translations that are all wrong and worse still
some translations of such a nature that they bring discredit to our ancient religion.
Furthermore apart from the vibrationary effect of Ahunavad Gatha that is known to us,
in this world presently there is no other knowledge of The Gathas and to believe
otherwise is wrong. Go back 100 years or more and you will see that The Gathas were
not even included in The Khordeh Avesta, but due to the mistaken belief in translations
they now appear in books printed more recently.
This New Year started from Iran and even after the recent Iranian revolution it is
celebrated with pomp and glory. Even in the other Muslim countries like Kurdistan,
Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, etc celebrations take place and all
governments have proclaimed a holiday for that time. In point of fact even in
Afghanistan during the Taliban regime was the New Year celebrated because all of the
above countries still remember that they were once part of Iran. Unfortunately, when
Parsees after the fall of Iran settled in India and for a few years were following the
calendar starting from Jamshedi-Navroze, but later on they forgot to add the leap year
day and so the New Year drifted to the month of August which is the monsoon month
and considered as being that which is called the Shehanshai New Year. Thus Shehenshai
and Kadmi New Year started. In fact, we now celebrate 3 New Years. It is high time to
reverse this process and the correct New Year starting from 21st March should be
celebrated as follows -
First find out when The Sun enters Aries. It sometimes enters on 21st March and a few
times enters on 20th March. The timing is very important. After it enters Aries we
should take a bath and then pray in all 3 Gehs of Havan, Rapithvan and Ujiran in which
we recite Khorshed and Meher Niyaesh in the following manner -
In Havan Geh combined Jashan is to be performed by mobeds to which we can invite all
members of our community. In a country like England where Ujiren Geh is very short it
is ok to recite Khorshed and Meher Niyaesh in Havan and Rapithvan Geh.
In the evening get-together celebration should be done on grand scale and good words,
good thoughts and good deeds should prevail. A few drinks to the health of community
and in remembrance of Shah Jamshed should be taken and then get-together dinner.
In Iranian family there is a custom of lighting the fire of the wood and jumping over the
fire during month of January for celebration of Jashne Sadeh and also at time of
Jamshedi Navroze. This is a great sin because in our religion fire is considered to be Son
of God. Fire in any form should be respected. Now consider that you put your own child
in place of fire and tell the people to jump over the child. How then will the child's
parents feel? Would they allow you to put the child down on the ground for others to
jump over? No, never. Then how can you put the Son of God and jump over it! It is
ridiculous. This is the practice followed by Muslims to insult our fire and unfortunately
Iranian Mazdayasni Zarathushtis have adopted it without giving proper thought and that
too on such an auspicious day. This action must therefore be stopped.
We also appeal to all Parsees and Iranian Mazdayasni Zarathushtis to give up completely
the Shehenshai and Kadmi calendars and to adopt the Fasli calendar starting from 21st
March - our first day Hormuzd and first month Farvardin. This change can be done by
all Behdins from next 21st March 2006 when after recital of their daily prayers they
recite Atash Nyaesh 9 times. Mobeds however cannot follow this, as Fasli Alat has to be
established first by a highly advanced Dastoor. The Iranian Anjuman of India is however
already printing the Fasli calendar every year and distributing same free of cost. Our
Minocher N. Pundol Saheb under divine revelation of The Pak Magav Sahebs exhorted
all Parsi and Iranian Mazdayasni Zarathushtis to follow this Fasli calendar. His son
Godrej Saheb also endorses it and is very keen that the maximum of Mazdayasni
Zarathushtis should follow it because it is very precise and in tune with Nature.
Muktad days should come in the month of March because this ceremony is directly
connected to the birth of our beloved Paighambar Saheb Asho Zarathushtra Spitamaan
and not in the month of August, i.e. monsoon season.
The Fasli calendar is also in tune with the preparation of the coming advent of The 100th
Rainidar Saheb Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand and so it is a necessity.
Once upon a time, he came to know that one evil in the form of a huge serpent in the
jungle was destroying animals and plants so he went there with his soldiers to kill it. He
located the whereabouts of the serpent, lifted a big boulder and threw it at the serpent
but the serpent got alerted and swiftly moved away. The boulder hit another boulder
and big sparks emanated, igniting the grass nearby. King Hoshang and his soldiers were
very surprised because they had not seen the fire before. At that time, Asho Sarosh
Yazad descended to the earth and told Hoshang that the son of Pak Dadar Ahuramazada
has come down for the benefit of entire earth and from now onwards the fire can be
ignited by any human beings till the end of this Zarvane Daregho Khadhat so that the
people can make use of it. But he warned that Fire should be respected properly and
under no circumstances should it be polluted as on doing so the punishment would be
severe. After this Asho Sarosh Yazad told Hoshang to celebrate this occasion on a grand
scale.
So Hoshang bowed down to the fire and he ordered all his subjects to come and
celebrate this occasion with Jashan-e-Sadeh. This happened on Avan Roj and Behman
Mah (Fasli) and so up to even the present time this most auspicious Jashan is held each
and every year. We are all therefore very saddened to see that members of our Iranian
family and friends in celebration of this occasion actually go against the wishes of Pak
Dadar Ahuramazda by both jumping and passing through the fire. An act of very great
disrespect and indeed one of the very worst sins imaginable.
1) Maidozarem → Ardibesht
2) Maidyoshahe → Tir
3) Paitishahem → Shaherevar
4) Aiyathrem → Meher
5) Maidyairem → Dae
6) Hamaspatmaidem → Aspandarmad
Maidozarem - (1) It brings down the aspects of Mah Bokhtar (The Moon), and The Sun
absorbs it and transfers it down on the earth. This Gahambar occurs when the Moon is
exalted in Taurus.
(2) Similarly the 2nd Gahambar occurs when Jupiter is exalted in Cancer.
(6) 6th Gahambar occurs during the 5 Gathas when Venus is exalted in Pisces.
Since all the planets are in exalted sign the aspect falling upon the earth is very good.
The beneficial effect of Gahambar is not only affecting Zarathushtis but the whole earth
too. Each Gahambar falls on specific five days as given by our forefathers thousands of
years ago. The Sun is exalted on one day within these five days and hence very powerful
and that can be found out by the method of astronomical calculations which again
proves how accurate our religion was thousands of years ago, and still is. The Pundol
Sahebs through their mastery in the science of Astrology can easily determine which day
is the most powerful and the most appropriate day to perform the Gahambar in the
morning of Havan Geh.
In the Jashan Ceremony of Gahambar we put different types of fruits etc. that includes
cooked rice. The rice is cooked in such a way that each grain of rice should get separated
out through use of much ghee/butter whilst cooking the rice. After Jashan Ceremony
Chasni is done by the people who attend this Jashan Ceremony and a small amount of
rice will be given to each and everyone present. It is said that the good effect from that
particular planet goes maximally into one grain of the cooked rice so that when we eat
that rice one person is destined to get maximum benefit of “Ravaan Bokhtagi.” Hence
not a grain of rice should be wasted nor should be dropped on the ground.
The person who get this Jashan Ceremony performed will get tremendous benefit and
those who participate also get very good benefit.
3. Paitishahem - occurs in the month of Shaherevar and from Astad to Aneran Roj. It
gives wisdom and good memory. The man/woman without proper state of mind can get
utmost benefit from this Gahambar. He/she can acquire deep foresight and be a good
orator.
4. Aiyathrem - occurs in the month of Meher and from Astad to Aneran Roj. Those
who are undergoing bad period from a weak Saturn or 7½ year period of Saturn
(Sarasaati), or 2½ year period of weak Saturn, or a weak Saturn in the birth chart will be
able to wipe off the bad effects by performing this Gahambar. It can enhance the
greatness of a man. If a woman performs this Gahambar she remains absolutely devoted
to her husband and gets lots of happiness in life. Such people should do charity on
Saturdays.
5. Maidyairem - occurs in the month of Dae and from Meher to Behram Roj. This
Gahambar is performed usually by Kings and Prime Ministers and gives success in war.
In ancient Iran the King before going to war with other countries used to perform this
Gahambar before declaring war so that they were always successful. In the later period,
when the Kings neglected this Gahambar, the downfall of Iran came. If an ordinary man
has got enemies, he can destroy the enemy naturally by performing this Gahambar. This
Gahambar is also known as Shahi Gahambar because only Kings can perform it, where
thousands of people have to be invited in this ceremony and they have to be fed with
good food.
6. Hamaspatmaidem - occurs in the last month of Aspandadmad and the five Gathas
i.e. last five days of the year. This gives all-around betterment like he/she becomes more
religious, he/she gets happiness from husband or wife as the case may be, gives good crop
in the fields and makes a person financially well-off and the blessings of departed Ravaan
of the relatives for upon the person who performs this Gahambar.
All these Gahambars that we have mentioned are as per Fasli Calendar which is very
precise and would be performed by Mobeds after the establishment of Fasli Alat. At
present, Shahenshahi or Kadmi Gahambars are being performed on days that do not
give the benefits mentioned above. Let us pray that Fasli Alat be established as early as
possible by a high authority Dastoor who will come from Demavand and put the whole
community on one calendar i.e. Fasli Calendar.
This is the first time that Minocher Pundol Saheb had revealed the true significance of
Gahambar in this country.
KshnaothraAhuraheMazdao
Religious Ceremonies of Nirangdin, Vandidad, Vadi and
Mah Hama Yasht.
In the Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din the ceremonies play a very important role since they
are part and parcel of the religion. Take away the ceremonies and you have no religion.
There are two distinct classes of religious ceremonies
1. Hooshmardi - which are small ceremonies like Afringhan, Farokshi, Baaj, Jashan,
Fareshta, etc, and then there are the -
2. Pavmahal - that is to say the big ceremonies like Yajashne, Vandidad, Nirang-e-
Din and Hama Yasht, etc.
Of them the Nirang-e-Din ceremony is the most important since it is the foundation
upon which the religion rests. For otherwise, if there was no such ceremony then we
could not establish and consecrate Holy Fires of Atash Behram and Atash Aderan, nor
could we perform the Navjote, Navar ceremonies and so many others too. We simply
cannot therefore ever over emphasise the divine significance and importance of this one
ceremony that forms the base of all others.
Before continuing further a short note concerning Varasyaji would not be out of place
here. For since time immemorial here is another miracle of The Divine whereby
Fareshtas, who are Angels, can either singly or collectively give life to the Holy white bull
upon which there should be no other coloured hairs. A truly Divine creature that even
influenced Iran's legendary Pehelwan Rustom to wear into battle a bull's head shaped
helmet. Before we can begin the Nirang-e-Din ceremony certain requirements need to be
fulfilled -
1. The holy white bull must be consecrated by traditional Mobeds. By this word of
traditional we imply all those who follow the religion without any form of change
from the time of our forefathers to when we last lived inside of Iran.
2. Two able bodied Mobeds who have no bodily defect and can recite in clear tone
the entire ceremony for the continuous time of 8/9 hours. These Mobeds should
not also have any problems concerning/needing to use the bathroom, until the
ceremony is over. A ceremony that in total is of 18 days duration and one in
which all throughout of these 18 days the Mobeds should abstain from having
sex.
3. This ceremony can only be done in the proper Pavis in Aderan or Atash
Behram.
The efficacy of this ceremony is in the resultant purification of urine of Varasyaji which
remains free of germs for many years and which can be used for different purposes,
some of which have been mentioned as above. If a Mazdayasni Zarathushti in a pure
state of body takes even just a few drops of this Nirang, then both the body and Ravaan
get a purification Nahan. The Nirang-e-din ceremony is applicable only for people of our
faith because the life force/soul that for us is known as a Ravaan, must endure a period
of Seshab in that place of detainment called Hamestagan upto a maximum of 13 lunar
months. To be performed by two Mobeds who have undergone Navar and Martab
ceremonies, well versed with Yajashne and able to recite Vandidad fluently from the
book. These Mobeds must also first of all have undergone Navratri Barashnum Nahan
(self purification) for nine days by remaining in the precincts of the fire temple building
in a separate cottage. Everyday five times in five Gehs they pray Niyaesh, Sarosh and
Patet in the name of Ravaan. Whilst doing all of this, they have to observe certain norms
such as for instance not touching human beings or animals. They pray Tandarosti for
the person(s) who ordered this ceremony in all five Gehs. The other two Mobeds who
have already kept the Barashnum Nahn can give these two Mobeds (who are actually
doing the Nirang-e-din) Barashnum Nahan, after doing Yajashne ceremony.
After completing nine days in the same way, the two Mobeds on the morning of the
tenth day come out of the precinct after taking bath with water and apply Nirang on
their body.
On the 11th day, these two Mobeds who have undergone self-purification will perform
Yajashne ceremony with the other two Mobeds in different Pavis.
On the 12th day, these two Mobeds perform Yajashne ceremony in the name of the
deceased that continues for six days and this is called “Gevra”. They have to pray in
every Geh (5 times a day) in remembrance of the Ravaan certain prayers. Not only that
but they can drink and eat only after taking “Daroon Baaj” in the name of the Ravaan.
On the 18th day in the early morning they start collecting Nirang of Varasyaji. Then in
the evening they will perform “Paragna” ceremony that lasts for about an hour wherein
they purify all the vessels and “Alats” (Instruments).
One of the most important Alat is a ring made of certain metals including solidified
mercury. Now it is a well known fact that nobody, and this even includes scientists too,
has the knowledge as to how to solidify mercury. Our Minocher N. Pundol Saheb was
the first human being to solidify mercury in this age and so make a ring consisting of
eight metals to be used in the Nirang-e-Din ceremony. The Pak Magav Sahebs of Koh-e-
Demavand taught him this secret, which is a pure chemical process. The other
important Alat is Homsali that is regularly coming from Iran as this tree is not grown in
India.
Finally upon the very last day in the Ushahin Geh at 1:00 AM these two Mobeds after
doing their regular prayers take the blessings of Aderan/Atash Behram, come to the
consecrated Pavi where Atash Dadgah is burning and start the longest ceremony. A she
goat is brought into another nearby Pavi and after certain prayer they extract the milk
from the goat. Goat's milk is also very important for without of this aspect even the
Yajashne/Vandidad ceremonies could not be performed. They then start ceremony for
purifying “Hom” which ends at about 3:30 AM. Then Vandidad ceremony starts and
should be recited in clear tone and next day in the morning at about 8:30 AM the
ceremony gets over. The last thing they do is after performing Kusti is to pour some
Hom water in the well and the remaining water they give to the public who had come to
see the ceremony and also Daroon and purified Nirang as Chasni. It is very auspicious to
see this ceremony. This is the only ceremony that gives high progress of Ravaan bokhtagi
for the deceased, the Mobeds who took part in the ceremony, the entire public who see
this ceremony along with that person who organized the Nirang-e-Din ceremony.
On the 18th day in the morning a Jashan of four Mobeds is performed in the name of the
Ravaan and also with respect to the Ravaan in Ushahin Geh a Machi is offered to the
Aderan or Atash Behram.
Lastly, many people ask whether our prayers or ceremony can do miracles. Here is the
example in the sense that Varasyaji's urine i.e. Nirang can be kept for many years in the
bottle covered with only a consecrated muslin cloth, but no sealing is done to the bottle.
Yet in Udvada, Gujarat, India they have Nirang that is over 40 years old, crystal clear
and without germs as on the first day that it was so made. Some years back there was a
controversy about Nirang wherein some people doubted this aspect of Nirang being free
of germs. So part of it was sent to one of the best laboratory and testing places in
London. After making a complete examination the laboratory reported that not a single
germ was to be found. Is this not a miracle?
Nirang-e-Din when split into its constituent parts can be understood as Nir = water,
Ang=body and Din=religion i.e. water of Varasyaji's body used for religious ceremony.
We call it water and not urine because the status of Varasyaji is Fareshta (Angel). In a
Varasyaji one or many Fareshtas dwell in the body and that is why when the Varasyaji
dies all Pavmahal ceremonies are to be stopped until a newVarasyaji can be consecrated.
When a Dastur (priest) dies all ceremonies remain in continuation. Yet most amazingly
an animal in this world of Varasyaji's status is above that of Dastur or even Dastur-e-
Dasturan (High Priest).
Vandidad.
Vandidad is a PavMahal ceremony next only to the Nirang-e-Din. A ceremony that lasts
for a whole night and has to be done at night after 1:00 AM till 5:30 to 6:00 AM for a
Ravaan by two Mobeds who have undergone ceremony of complete Navar and Martab,
and who have performed Boi ceremony of Aderan or Atash Behram, can do Vandidad
ceremony with the other similar trained Mobed. A Mobed cannot become Dastur unless
he has done Vandidad in Martab ceremony. This is the law that is still respected by
Mobed Anjuman (committee). In Nirang-e-Din ceremony if this Vandidad is not recited
properly and completely then the Varasyaji's Nirang will be bereft of high quality or
power. That is the greatness of Vandidad Mathravani (vibrations), our Mazdayasni
Zarathushti religion and this is the miracle that our Mobeds are able to perform in this
Kali Yug (bad times) also. Here you do not require M.A./ Ph.D. in Avesta for this
miracle. Just think O’ Zarathushti - that without Vandidad there is no Nirang-e-Din, no
new Aderan or Atash Behram, no new Dokhmas could be consecrated, no Mobed can
become Dastur and no existence of the Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din. There is another
word for the Vandidad known to us as “Vi-Daivo-Dat” which means Manthravani to
drive out evil forces. So if somebody feels that his/her house is haunted - the house has
to be only cottage or bungalow and not a flat due to the specific targeting of the
ceremony to one location. You can drive out the evil spirit with the help of Mobed who
in pure state of body after doing his regular prayers starts reciting Vandidad after 1:00
AM praying through the whole night until it is completed.
The Mah Hama Yasht Ceremony.
Here again like Ghambars, the Nirangdin Ceremony, 8 Atash Behram trip, visits to
Farvadian and so forth, there exists the opportunity in just one life to gain a complete
liberation from future incarnation on earth, i.e. the Moksh. This ceremony was last
performed some 100 or so years ago in Udvada and then before that about 200 years ago
in Surat. There is the smaller version with 12 Vendidad performed or the larger one
with 144 Vandidad, 144 Yajashne, 144 Baaj, 144 Afringan. Although the ceremony is
divinely connected to the following beings through the forces of fire and light its
spiritual powers can be enhanced even further to not only bestow the moksh but also
that locale and indeed the actual country such that within a few short years many real
benefits and improvements can actually be seen. The divine 12 are - Hormazd
Ameshaspand, Teshter Tir Yazad, Govad Yazad, Khurshed Yazad, Mohor Yazad, Ava
Yazad, Adar Yazad, Asho Sarosh Yazad, Khordad Ameshaspand, Amardad
Ameshaspand, Asfandarmad Ameshaspand and finally the forces of Spenamino. This is
a very long and extremely powerful religious ceremony that takes place over many days.
The Ceremony of Vadi.
When the great Nairyosang Avvall Abed Saheb from Koh-e-Demavand brought our
people safely ashore in India from their journey that began so many long years earlier in
Iran, the Saheb brought the blessings of Asho Sarosh Yazad on India by performing this
most special ceremony. The Sarosh Yasht Vadi Ceremony is designed to spread all
manner of blessings by Asho Sarosh Yazad and although now unknown still remains a
ceremony that we should be aware of. Simultaneously you should not forget that
dependant upon the spirituality of the priests involved not all ceremonies can be known
of or performed.
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda is Eternal and so always existed. Then there emerged out of Pak
Dadar Ahuramazda the sound of Ahu from which all Creation came forth.
Simultaneously from this sound there emerged the Avesta Manthra the total
conglomeration of which came to be known to us as Asho Sarosh Yazad. He is known as
Asho Sarosh Yazad since the piety that emerged out of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda merged
into him.
Returning now to the story of Creation, Pak Dadar Ahuramazda brought forth two
Khorehs. Both Khorehs praised Pak Dadar Ahuramazda as Omniscient, Omnipotent
and Omnipresent. One Khoreh thinks Pak Dadar Ahuramazda is One and only One
Supreme and there is nobody else. The other Khoreh on seeing its own brilliant light
thinks – I am also shining like Pak Dadar Ahuramazda. This Khoreh developed a sort of
self-pride and at that moment a small part of its Khoreh lost all brilliance and became
black. The first Khoreh who had not shown any pride Pak Dadar Ahuramazda took
back into Himself so ending its Frashogard. Before we continue do kindly note that just
as the universe has its own Frashogard so too does every spiritual entity. What this word,
which is one of the 101 names for Pak Dadar Ahuramazda, means is that there is a given
time span from the moment something/someone is created and brought forth into the
world of time, space and matter to when it merges back into Pak Dadar Ahuramazda
forever.
Of the other Khoreh the ever more arrogant and rebellious black portion henceforth to
be known as AngreMino/Ahereman i.e. The Devil, was separated from the shining part
that came to be known as SpenaMino. Pak Dadar Ahuramazda now created a host of
Ameshaspands, Yazads, Fareshtas and Asho Ravaans out of SpenaMino, with the
instruction to conquer and improve Angremino/Ahereman. Sadly in spite of their very
best efforts they could not fulfill their task and so appealed for divine help. A most
brilliant light now emerged out of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda who was none other than
Hormazd Ameshaspand, the very first Paighambar Saheb of our religion, and not to be
confused with Pak Dadar Ahuramazda who is GOD ALLMIGHTY.
Hormazd now devised a plan to trap Ahereman and by reciting Kshnaothra Ahurahe
Mazdao created the Earth. Then He instructed Fareshtas to go and live upon the Earth
but they hesitated for just a moment at the thought of not being close to Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda. Asho Ravaans now offered their services which Hormazd accepted whilst
informing the Fareshtas that their Frashogard must take place after the Frashogard of all
Asho Ravaans. Realizing the enormity of their mistake they appealed for another chance
to redeem and were given the opportunity to descend upon the Earth to give life to our
holy white bulls known as Varasiyaji from which ultimately Nirangdin is obtained.
When Ahereman saw the Earth with Asho Ravaans living thereon, inevitably Ahereman
was attracted at the prospect of causing harm. When Ahereman came near the Earth
Hormazd encircled the entire area around earth with Adar-e Minokarko Atash thereby
forming a Kas, so forever trapping Ahereman in the universe that from now on was to
be known as Nisti, whilst all that which was above, namely The Mazdayasni Zarathushti
heavens or Realm of Endless Light-of-Lights to be known as Hasti. Evil forces are always
afraid of fire and so with Ahereman now trapped Hormazd created the planet Saturn
and ordered that he remain there forever. Such however is his dark satanic power that
smaller aspects of Ahereman can leave Saturn and so continue the universal war between
the forces of Fire and Light and the forces of darkness and evil.
After many billions of years the earth cooled down and so it was now that by the grace of
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda there began life on earth as we who live today would both
recognize and know it to be of human beings, the kingdom of plants and animals, etc..
Simultaneously in this era The Paighambar Saheb of our religion placed into Mt.
Demavand in Iran a portion of His Divine Khoreh. So brilliant that not even the rays of
the Sun can penetrate. That this Khoreh could be eternally protected and kept invisible
from both nature and humanity, Pak Dadar Ahuramazda now brought forth The Divine
Pak Magav Anjuman of 72 Sahebs and 6 Banus. HE also brought the highest grade of
spiritually advanced Sahebs from our faith known to us as Abeds and finally the lesser
spiritually advanced Mazdayasni Zarathushtis called Latif Magavs. Each, in turn, created
a divine fortification (Kas) through recital of Avesta Manthra. So effectively here we have
a divine realm forever hidden from our world in which there are three separate levels of
spiritual barriers.
Furthermore in conjunction with Koh-e-Demavand, once in every time span of some 45
lakhs of years that is called a Zarvane Daregho Khadhat, the planet Earth gets completely
destroyed by a global flood. In that time span The Paighambar Saheb of our religion
comes just once into Iran. He also goes into Koh-e-Demavand to leave a most special
holy fire. Then finally after 18 consecutive such periods are over The Prophet takes
every Asho Ravaan from the top of Garothman Behest with Him to merge into Pak
Dadar Ahuramazda. At that moment another Paighambar Saheb emerges after having
been created through a conglomeration of many thousands of Pak Magavs from the
most holy divine realm of Koh-e-Demavand. This whole cycle has now been going on for
many billions of years and all we can say is that from the time of Hormazd to Asho
Zarathushtra there have been countless Zarvane Daregho Khadhats and thus
innumerable Paighambar Sahebs of our faith that have come and gone. So when Asho
Zarathushtra last came to this Earth some 3,200,000 years ago, He left the Holy Fire of
Adar-e Burzin Meher in Koh-e-Demavand. Consequently this is where The Shah Nameh
or Book of Kings comes in, for although humanity cannot record or know of the many
billions of years that have elapsed, it is possible for the masses of our people to appreciate
a much smaller period of time and realize the contributions made by The Mazdayasni
Zarathushti Din of Maadar Vaatan IRAN. Just before the beginning of the last global
flood, one Rainidar Saheb by the name of Soshyos came into Iran to lead the masses of
our people to the area in the northern polar ice cap region called Paamar. For as the
earth’s orbit had decreased and the planet got that much closer to the Sun, both polar
ice caps had melted. Water will however always find its own level and so whilst the
highest of mountains get covered by the flood waters, the area of Paamar emerges to give
our people a most hospitable place in which to live. There they stayed for many
hundreds of thousands of years until the waters had subsided enough for Soshyos now
returns as Gayomard to lead our people back into Iran. In this time Gayomard uses his
spiritual powers to reposition the earth into a much further orbit around the Sun. Years
later his son Shyaamak uses his spiritual powers to dry the earth and so through the
Shah Nameh we come to learn of Kersasp. To the reign of Shah Jamshed when one year
of that era was equal to 703 present-day earth year all the way to when Shahnshah
Hoshang ruled. At that time the people were all highly advanced spiritually and so it was
possible to actually invite fire to come so that they could cook their food. Then by the
grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda fire became universal such that from now onwards it
was possible to actually light a fire. Another vast period of time elapses and we come to
the era of Asho Zarathushtra when just one year of that era was equal to 555 present-day
earth year. Today as we get closer to the coming advent of the next global flood one year
is equal to 365 and one quarter days.
When Asho Zarathushtra was in Iran the Empire was vast and so very often in the
company of many followers He would travel all over. One day they came to the river
Daiti and could find no place or boats with which to cross over. There were many people
along with Him who believed Him as the Prophet. So He told all the people to cross the
river by walking over the shallow water and all could do it. After coming to the other
side of the river Asho Zarathushtra saw a child left on the other bank. So He alone went
back, took the child in His hand and started coming to the other side, when suddenly
water started rising. The water rose up to His knees. As He walked further, the water
rose up to His back; then further the water rose to His chest; then finally the water rose
to His neck but then it did not rise further and He along with the child came to other
side of the river bank. Asho Zarathushtra then told everyone that by this demonstration
they could know that in this one age before advent of the next global flood The
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din is ordained to decline on four occasions. However By the
divine grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda there shall first come one Rainidar Saheb by the
name of Shah Behram Varjavand. To be followed many thousands of years later by first
Hoshedar Baami, then Hoshedar Mah and finally once again a Soshyos Saheb. Of all
these periods of decline the very first one shall be the worst, with our people scattered to
all four corners of the earth and the religion almost destroyed, such that our people have
to preserve and maintain the faith in another country.
In this time of Asho Zarathushtra the entire population of the world is Mazdayasni
Zarathushti. So there are no other faiths and indeed such has been the case since the
time of Gayomard Saheb. Only then after another vast period of time does the Hindu
religion get created to be followed many thousands of years later by the faith of
Judaeism. Finally we come to the time of known recorded history in which first comes
the religion of Christianity, then Islam and more recently quite a large number of
offshoots from out of these 4 primary religions. As a result with Asho Zarathushtra being
Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan or Prophet-of-Prophets you can see displayed upon His sash 4
arcs to denote these 4 major world religions, whilst the right hand index finger pointing
to the sky represents our Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din that unlike all other faiths is
everlasting.
Since the time of Asho Zarathushtra there have been 99 Rainidar Sahebs and in the not
too distant future there shall be the 100th Rainidar Saheb Shahnshah Shah Behram
Varjavand. Then in what is left of the remaining 6-700,000 years before the beginning of
the next global flood, we shall sadly see three further periods of decline in which
rejuvenators of the faith shall come in the personages of the Rainidar Sahebs of
Hoshedar Baami, Hoshedar Mah and finally Soshyos Saheb. The planet will then be
destroyed by a global flood and then when the time is right Mazdayasni Iranians shall
once more emerge from Paamar to take absolute rulership of the world. What happens
next is another story and so this cycle shall continue for many more billions of years
until The Frashogard, i.e. lifespan of the universe is over. Just before the end,
Ahereman who is imprisoned on Saturn will be given one last chance to make
redemption that shall be rejected, whereupon all the Vakshur-e-Vakshuraans that have
ever existed together recite Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao to destroy both Saturn and
Ahereman out of existence. So once again there shall be Pak Dadar Ahuramazda until
such time as HE chooses to set forth another Frashogard.
The Pak Magav Anjuman has 72 Sahebs and 6 Banus to whom each and every
Mazdayasni Zarathushti living on earth is divinely connected by the wearing of their
Kusti. Simultaneously also by wearing the Kusti one is divinely connected to the 72
chapters/Haas of the Yajeshne. These divine beings created by Pak Dadar Ahuramazda
have an identical true but smaller nature similar to that of Asho Zarathushtra, by virtue
of The Fravashi inside of them. Consequently they too have virtually infinite powers
with a complete knowledge of the past, present and future. Even the youngest Pak
Magav Saheb has complete control over Nature and so can effect any type of miracle.
Similarly with no materialism they cast no shadow, do not touch the ground when
walking and have no connection to the aspects of marriage, children and family. Their
number is forever constant through immediate replacement when the time comes for
one of them to leave.
Next to the Pak Magavs come Abed Sahebs who are by far and away the most spiritually
advanced of all the human beings living here in this Kas. The word Kas is used to denote
that which is encircled by divine fortification of Avesta manthravani. Finally beyond of
them you can find few Latif Magavs who in conjunction with AbedSahebs and general
public result in total a human population far in excess of some 1,000,000 persons. All of
whom are very robust in build with average heights of between 7 to 9 feet and blessed
with truly vast life spans. Approximately 250,000 of them live in the capital city of
Hormazd that was so named in memory of the very first Paighambar Saheb of our faith
from the time of Creation. With some 93 madressas and a very large number of fire
temples as you would expect here is a very Holy place filled with thousands of
Athornans. To however pass Maratab and so become Dastoor who presides over a
number of Fire temples is much harder than in the world outside because the pass mark
is set at a higher level. Most wondrous of all there is a carving of Asho Zarathushtra
made upon a mountain inside of Koh-e-Demavand and the light of Adar-e-Burzin Meher
Atash reflects upon it in such a manner that it gives an appearance of Asho Zarathushtra
being alive.
From early childhood both boys and girls learn to ride horses. There is no pressure to
follow a religious career. So whilst many do just that there is a much greater proportion
that chose other professions. Of these farming is highly popular with all agricultural
work being done as in the past with no machines but the use of cattle and so forth.
There are also no forms of mechanized transport as people continue to travel by horse-
pulled cart and camel riding.
Within the Khoreh that was mentioned above, you can find many divine wonders such
as a mountain made from marble on which there has been carved 108,000 names for
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda followed by etc, etc, etc. Then there are the 21 Noosks named
after the 21 words of the Yatha Ahu Vairyo prayer in which each one contains absolute
knowledge on subjects that in sum total cover the whole story of Creation from
beginning to end that also includes a divine knowledge of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda and
all of that which came out of HIM and that which shall return.
This Khoreh is also the meeting place where the divine leader of the Pak Magav
Anjuman and the leader of the Abed Sahebs receive The Divine Word of Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda concerning the planet and all who live thereon through Asho Sarosh
Yazad. Respectively known as Pak Saroshavarez Saheb and Abedan Abed Saheb whereby
Pak Saroshavarez Saheb is also the absolute leader over Koh-e-Demavand and all therein.
He therefore has the final say as to who can and cannot enter herein. Finally you should
note that in each time period of some 45 lakhs of years between successive global
floodings known to us as a Zarvane Daregho Khadhat, 180 Pak Magav Sahebs attain the
status of Saroshavarez. Thus over a time span of 18 consecutive such periods in total
3,240 of these divine beings ascend to a heavenly abode called Markaz-e-Khaab in order
to merge and form the next Paighambar Saheb of our religion. That is why we give so
much faith, love and devotion along with our implicit obedience to the present Pak
Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb- Leader of The Pak Magav Anjuman of Koh-e-Demavand.
We would now like to bring to your attention a story regarding one of the Pak Magav
Sahebs of Koh-e-Demavand.
After Iran fell into the hands of Arabs there were still many Iranian warriors who fought
on independently and killed as many Arabs as they could especially in the remote
mountainous areas of Iran.
One such fearless warrior of repute was Rustom Ramali who played a leading role in
fighting against the Arab invaders and killing as many of the enemy as he could.
It so happened that one day he came across a group of nine Zarathustis walking on a
mountain ridge who looked very distressed and appeared to be in a great hurry to move
on. He stopped them and asked them why they were so distressed whereupon he was
told that they were trying their best to flee from a small army of Arabs who had spotted
them from a valley floor beneath them. Rustom Ramali noticed that they were dressed
as Mobeds and informed them that they should have no fear for he would delay the
Arab army so as to give these Mobeds enough time to get to wherever they were going
and even showed them a shortcut trail for escape. The Zarathushtis dressed as Mobeds
were none other than Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb who in the company of eight
other Sahebs had left Koh-e-Demavand (Baaten) to carry out a task entrusted to them by
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda and were returning back to Koh-e-Demavand. Now as per the
divine will of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda one day in the year the Pak Magav Sahebs lose
their divine powers and live as ordinary human beings; normally at that time they stay in
Baaten only. It so happened that just such a time arrived when these nine Sahebs were
outside Baaten and were being pursued by an army of Arabs. Pak Saroshavarez Marzban
Saheb realized that Rustom Ramali was hopelessly outnumbered against the army of
greater than 1000 Arabs and hence appealed to Pak Dadar Ahuramazda that he be given
the strength of Rustom Pehelwan at this moment. Suddenly Rustom Ramali found that
he had become much larger and filled with unimaginable strength and power, as was his
steed, to such an extent that instead of waiting for the enemy he single-handedly charged
the Arab army and effortlessly destroyed hundreds of them; the rest ran away out of
sheer fear.
Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb then offered to take Rustom Ramali into Koh-e-
Demavand which he gladly accepted.
Meanwhile the Abed Sahebs and other Zarathushtis residing in Koh-e-Demavand had
been aware of these events and were highly relieved to see the Pak Magav Sahebs return
safely. In fact almost the entire Anjuman of Koh-e-Demavand turned out in the streets
to welcome them. Rustom Ramali is felicitated with great love and tremendous
outpouring of joy and happiness.
The next day a meeting is called of all the Pak Magav Sahebs, Abedan Abed Saheb, Abed
Sahebs, and those of the Anjuman who wished to attend, in order to decide on a gift to
be given to Rustom Ramali. Various suggestions are put forth but no decision is reached
so it is decided to ask Rustom Ramali himself what he would like.
Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb again thanks Rustom Ramali for his deed and then
asks him what he would like as a reward. Rustom Ramali replies that he very happy and
most grateful for the opportunity to serve and really does want any reward indicating
that to help out was reward in itself. However Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb
impresses upon Rustom Ramali that as noble a sentiment as this may be the Pak Sahebs
do not let a favor go unrewarded. Rustom Ramali, who has no knowledge of the Pak
Magav Sahebs or their true divine nature, then remarks that since they insist why not
make him a Magav Saheb too as they are. The entire audience is completely stunned at
this request.
Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb asks Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan Asho Zarathustra as how to
how to handle this request/situation.
Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan Asho Zarathushtra informs Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb that
it is the wish of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda that Rustom Ramali’s Ravaan merge directly
into HIM and be made a Magav after this life.
Rustom Ramali is then given the freedom to travel anywhere in Baaten and even come
and go outside Baaten as he wishes. Upon returning back in to Iran he is very saddened
to see the destruction of his beloved country by the Arabs and he asks Pak Saroshavarez
Marzban Saheb to give him the strength of Rustom Pehelwan again so that he can
destroy the Arab invaders. Pak Saroshavarez Saheb informs him that They too see the
destruction and feel the same way but it is the will of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda and hence
one cannot go against it. A time will come when Iran will be in ascendancy soon (KAM).
Rustom Ramali then befriends another very wise and pious person known as Godrej
(who is actually even older than Pak Saroshvarez Mazrban Saheb) who is a farmer by
profession. Godrej then advises Rustom Ramali that if he wishes to become Magav soon
then he must leave Baaten and quickly live his remaining life outside to which Rustom
Ramali agrees.
After his death Rustom Ramali’s Ravaan merges directly into Pak Dadar Ahuramazda
after traveling through Garothman Behest. His Ravaan resides within Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda for sometime and then descends into Koh-e-Demavand as Pak Magav
Mehervan Saheb. This is an exceptional case whereupon a Ravaan merges into Pak
Dadar Ahuramazda without the help of a Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan. Pak Magav Mehervan
Saheb is also the only Pak Magav Saheb to possess the physical strength like Rustom
Pehelwan.
So if we serve a Pak Magav Saheb then they reward us to a far greater extent than one
can imagine.
2nd Aasmaan of Khordad: Unimaginable light exists here and by now the Ravaan has
become golden coloured in Aura and totally engrossed in the purification its mind.
Since bud kerdar is still not completely destroyed such a Ravaan wants to incarnate
upon the earth as fast as is possible.
3rd Aasmaan of Teshtar Tir: Indescribable light exists here and the Aura of a Ravaan
from this heaven shines in such a blaze that it cannot command control over it. All
Ravaans coming from here are thoroughly pious with a perfect purity of mind. So much
so indeed that such Ravaans always see the good in others and often can get carried away
very easily. This Ravaan can achieve a complete elimination of all past bud kerdars and
so it chooses to re-incarnate back upon the Earth even faster than before, since it knows
that once in the next Aasman/behest of heaven that is the end of one particular phase of
spiritual advancement.
4th Aasmaan of Khorshed: A Ravaan can only gain entry here once all of its past bud
kerdars are destroyed. Thereafter such a Ravaan will only come back to the earth for the
purpose of doing religious work since from now onwards there is no need to return to
the earth as it can progress towards The Divine directly from here.
5th Aasmaan of Behram Yazad: There are now no words to describe the sheer brilliance
of the light in this heaven and that of the respective Ravaans that live here. Through
Sheherevar Ameshaspand the Ravaan becomes watery-like and then gaseous with the
power of Behram Yazad such that it blazes white-hot. It is now whilst in this heaven that
the Ravaan is blessed with the Ilam of Minostigar such that all the knowledge of The
Avesta is opened before him. Then as the Ravaan reaches the pinnacle of this heaven it
gains the power of Stot Yasna whereby it can perform miracles at will.
6th Aasman of Garothman Behest: The ruling Lord of this heaven is Asho Zarathushtra.
In reality there are 3 heavens in Garothman but since the number 8 is associated with
the forces of darkness/evil, the number 6 is used for the entire conglomeration of these 3
heavens that make up Garothman.
Then when the time is right The Prophet of that age shall take all of the Asho Ravaans
from the top of Garothman Behest to merge into Pak Dadar Ahuramazda and
simultaneously another Paighamber Saheb shall appear to continue the divine work of
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda.
Every heaven consists of 4 levels with 180 steps through which each and every Ravaan
advances. Ever higher with its fiery form growing in full radiance as it gets set for
eternity until finally it has reached the pinnacle of Garothman Behest. Here it inherits
the Ashoi of Asho Sarosh Yazad such that its Khoreh blazes like that of Garothman
Behest and now that Asho Ravaan is ready to merge into Pak Dadar Ahuramazda.
Astrology investigates the influence of time. The word is derived from Aster meaning
star and Logos being reason or logic. In Sanskrit it is called Jyotishai or the Science of
Light. Astrology is a divine knowledge to be studied only by a person leading a pious life
with forbearance, calmness, self-control, seeking knowledge in the name of Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda. One who leads a religious life, free from conceit, who is truthful, well
versed in Avesta Manthravani and who has been initiated with the secret knowledge by a
preceptor. The light of Astrology illuminates our past deeds, good and bad. People
approach an astrologer by divine providence inclining them to know their future. In
moments of difficulty, calamity, when one questions the reason for the suffering,
Astrology gives an insight and understanding into ones life. Astrologers also know the
remedy to follow in order to successfully pass through these difficult periods in life.
Astrology thus guides us to fulfill the destinies Pak Dadar Ahuramazda has ordained for
every living being.
Astrology throws light upon the dark recesses of the future and through it one can
foretell the future history of man, the fates of nations, empires, kingdoms, wars,
revolutions and other terrestrial phenomena. It tells these things not by vague guesses or
gesticulations but on the adamantine basis of pure mathematical calculations. Through a
whole series of scientific observations, astronomical knowledge and deductions the
astrologer has found correlations between the movements of planets and stars in the
events of each individual and in actual fact as mentioned above all terrestrial
phenomena.
The entire fabric of Astrology rests on the broad principle of evolution in Time. With
time as a function when the results deducted by a series of astronomical observations are
applied, our expectations are answered. Every cause must produce an effect and so mans
actions in this world are seen to have a long tie with his moral principles. Mans existence
here is thus a mere repetition and reproduction of his other previous existences. His
present existence is but a link in the chain of eternal existences connecting the past with
the future. In each birth he carries one step forward the inceptive purpose of his
creation to its goal until he attains the ONE in which the past, present and future are
blended together and Time and Space are annihilated.
Huge dark spots on the Sun appear and a relationship is traced between the movements
of Jupiter, known to astrologers as God and Guru, and the convulsions of magnetic spots
in the Sun. The maxima and minima of earthquakes are found to synchronize with
certain relative positions of Jupiter and Saturn. Incidentally this 11 or 12 year period of
maximum solar activity automatically registers itself in the annular rings of trees. So
through an examination of these rings which are the high water-marks of the rise of the
sap each year, you can determine the age of the tree but more importantly, you also can
quite clearly distinguish the extra thickness of the cell-wall which occur every eleventh
year or so, indicating a year of maximum solar activity. Rains are due to the Sun and
that the rains affect our crops, health and financial affairs cannot be denied. Man is
influenced by his circumstances, monetary, social or climatic. One exposed to the
midday Sun feels fatigued and one sitting under the evening Sun feels refreshed. Solar
rays tan our skin and yet the effect is not cognizable by any sense.
The Moon affects the waters of this planet and since we are comprised of some 70%
water the effect of the Moon upon us is well known. Whatever your own personal
conclusion it is a known fact to astrologers that older and wiser societies realised the
significance of the Moons aspect upon peoples minds, because even to this day insane
people are termed lunatics and their illness as lunacy. These two words of lunacy and
lunatic are of course derived from the word lunar, which is but another name for our
Moon. A true Mazdayasni Zarathushti would not only acknowledge this fact but he/she
would regularly pray Mah Bokhtar Nyaish to protect and improve their mind. In actual
fact the recital of all Avesta manthra upon a daily basis does effect a purification of ones
mind. Hence that is why we constantly encourage all Mazdayasni Zarathushtis to recite
The Avesta everyday.
Astronomers in recent years have themselves termed Jupiter as the protector of the
Earth because it deflects and absorbs deadly and very dangerous planetary bodies like
asteroids and meteorites from harming us. Yet as mentioned earlier in Astrology Jupiter
has always been considered as God and Guru. A Mazdayasni Zarathushti astrologer
could enlighten you further because the Lord of Jupiter is none other than Hormazd
Ameshaspand. Furthermore Haptan Yasht is for Saturn, Teshter Tir Yasht for Venus,
Khordad Yasht for Mercury, Khurshed and Meher Yashts for the Sun, Mah Bokhtar
Yasht for Moon and Behram Yasht for Mars.
Even the fingers on ones hands are linked to the planets of this solar system and so
interestingly enough when we denounce Ahereman/Angre-Mino by snapping
(Tachkaria) of our fingers we always use the middle finger against our thumb of the right
hand, because the middle finger is related to the planet of Saturn which is extremely
malefic due to the captured presence of Ahereman/Angre-Mino thereon. The fore finger
being connected divinely to planet Jupiter that as mentioned above is divine and most
holy cannot be snapped irregardless of who you are and so it is built into everyone on
earth that one can denounce evil but never denounce good!
Astrology is most important and by the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda we shall bring
through some more superb astrologers in the future to help our people and indeed all
others who seek divine help to part the curtain of darkness that stops one from seeing
the light. Hindu Astrology is based upon the Moon, our Astrology upon The Sun and
western Astrology on the remnants of what we have left today.
From the moment of creation of every Ravaan, it is allotted a virtual mountain of bud
kerdars or sum total of past bad thoughts, words and deeds that have to be
destroyed/atoned for. In the process of doing this the Ravaan must progress spiritually
through the first three heavens of our faith. Then that Ravaan can advance spiritually
towards a life eternal with Pak Dadar Ahuramazda from the fourth Aasman/behest of
our Mazdayasni Zarathushti heavens. As a result except for religious work ordained by
Pak Dadar Ahuramazda the Ravaan never needs to come back to the earth. This subject
is simply vast and here we are giving you just a few sentences, so please do bear this in
mind when you read through The Shah Behram that together with the two volumes of
Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao still make but an introduction to our religion, the way of
life and some of our most ancient customs and traditions.
In the upper reaches of the fifth heaven the Ravaan is blessed with the divine gift of the
Ilm of Minostigar whereby Pak Dadar Ahuramazda lays open all the secrets of The
Avesta Manthra. Further onwards the Ravaan is blessed with the divine power of Stot
Yasna such that now the Ravaan can perform miracles at will. Eventually that Ravaan
becomes Asho in Garothman Behest and then inherits Ashoi of Asho Sarosh Yazad. So
now in full fiery glory set for a life eternal with Pak Dadar Ahuramazda that Asho
Ravaan must wait for the Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan of that era to take every Asho Ravaan
from the top of Garothman Behest with Him into Pak Dadar Ahuramazda, just as
another Vakshur-e-Vakshuraan of our religion emerges.
Kahroun-no-Khajano.
Kahroun was a Zarathushti who lived during the reign of Noshrivan-e-Adil. His parents
were extremely poor and could barely afford to sustain themselves and their son. Hence
when he comes of age Kahroun leaves his home due to extreme poverty; his parents give
him a donkey to ride on (this was, and until recently, the means of transport in Iran).
After extensive travel one afternoon
He stops to take some rest in a shaded area while leaning against a large stone for
support. At this point the stone he is leaning against shifts, which upon further
investigation reveals that it was covering the entrance to a tunnel that eventually lead to
a huge cave. He also notices that there is a light within the cave that is emanating from
the glow of pearls the size of a football! He then comes across a huge throne of gold on
which there is a statue of King and there is plaque below it. It reads as follows-
“O! Kahroun. This Khajano is for you.
I am Gayomard, the First Padshah of this world.
I leave this wealth for you; use it for doing noble deeds.”
Kahroun is absolutely awestruck and dumfounded beyond words to read that a Prophet
from a long gone era actually knows of him and has blessed him so.
Further on he finds four doors. The first door leads to a huge hall which is overflowing
with jewelry, etc., etc and is made of pure gold. The second door leads to similar hall
where everything is made of silver. The third door opens to a hall that harbors every
imaginable curio, crystals, jewels, pearls, diamonds, rubies, saphires and other precious
stones.
The fourth door opens into a courtyard wherein a gold vessel 4-5 storied high, and
supported by 4 pillars of solid gold, is overflowing with gold sovereigns. There is also a
staircase made of solid gold that leads up to the rim of the vessel. In fact there are so
many gold sovereigns that the vessel is unable to bear the load and has slightly tipped
over to one side. This results in some of these gold sovereigns falling to the ground
below. He takes some for personal use.
Kahroun then returns home and his parents are shocked to see their son who has done
so well (they think their son has acquired wealth by illegal means). He then describes the
place to his parents who find this all hard to believe and even turn down an invitation to
see this place. Regardless his prosperity rises and he builds a nice house for his parents
with all comforts. He then gets engaged to be married to the daughter of a village chief
from a neighboring village. The wedding festivities last for a couple of days wherein
friends, relatives and other dignitaries from adjoining villages come over to stay for a
couple of days. During these festivities he is befriended by an elderly village chief who
was known as Peer Mard (old man) who enquires about his work etc. Kahroun reveals to
this person the story of the hidden wealth and offers to show it to him on the condition
that he will not reveal the location of this place. Peer mard agrees and is taken to this
place first by donkey ride and then before they approach the place Peer Mard is
blindfolded and finally led down the stairs into the cavern where his blindfold is
removed. Peer Mard sees everything and also reads the inscription on the plaque from
Gayomard. He then advises Kahroun that he should use this wealth for doing all
manner of noble work only and help the poor and those in need (charitable work).
Kahroun then offers some of this wealth as a gift to Peer Mard who graciously declines.
Peer Mard then offers his services to Kahroun saying that if at any time Kahroun was in
trouble and needed help then he should not hesitate to seek him out.
A few months later Kahroun’s wife expresses a desire to visit her parents who live in
another village but Kahroun refuses to go. A few months later she again expresses her
wish to go visit her parents and this time Kahroun relents and they travel to her parent’s
house. Kahroun’s father-in-law is a person of low faith/trust and is curious as to how
Kahroun is able to afford and provide for all his family. Kahroun then narrates to him
the story as he had done to Peer Mard whereupon his father-in-law has a change of heart
(greed) and wants to acquire this wealth for himself. He constantly questions Kahroun
regarding the location of this place or indirectly asking for the general area so that he
can go there himself. Kahroun steadfastly refuses to reveal the location and is then
imprisoned by his father-in-law on false charges.
He further presses Kahroun to reveal the location by withholding all food; when
Kahroun does not yield, he stops giving him water.
Kahroun then collapses and the local physician is unable to find his pulse and
pronounces him dead. The Dokhmenashini ceremony is then performed for Kahroun
by his family and he is intered in to the local Dokhma. His wife accuses her father of
falsely imprisoning her husband and causing his demise; overwhelmed by her loss and
griefstricken she then leaves home and goes back to the Dokhma where Kahroun was
placed and sits there all night. During the night some dew drops falls on the lips of
Kahroun which revives him; he moans upon coming to and this is heard by his wife who
cries out his name. In order to help him she breaks the door latch and rushes in to give
support; in order to revive him further she soaks part of her clothing with water from a
nearby brook/spring and which Kahroun is able to sip and bring life back in to him. She
then returns to the village to bring him some food. Kahroun who has revived to about
20% of his strength instructs her to buy a donkey; Kahroun is placed on the donkey and
is taken to the village of Peer Mard. Peer Mard at first is unable to even recognize
Kahroun but is then astonished to know that the person at his door is his friend
Kahroun who is in such a debilitated state. Peer Mard spares no effort to restore
Kahroun back to his normal self; offers him a special tonic which is able to revive and
restore any person to full health from a debilitated state (such tonics were well known
in those days). Kahroun then describes the events that have transpired at his father-in-
laws house. Peer Mard, being a chief of even greater rank than other village chiefs,
immediately orders that Kahroun’s father-in-law be brought before him in chains. He is
then beaten to near death whereupon his own daughter intervenes and asks for
mercy/clemency.
Kahroun then becomes an even more generous person. However he does not know of
any person who will administer/use this wealth in a proper manner after his demise and
so he decides to bequeath the same to his King Noshirvan-e-Adil so that he may use it to
help his subjects.
So he invites the Shah to see the place and wealth for himself. The Shah tells him that he
has no need for wealth since his subjects and their love for their Shah are his wealth. To
illustrate this point the Shah issues a proclamation to his people that our country is
going to wage war against a neighbor and for this we need to raise money to generate
arms/ammunition; hence whatever the people can give they should bring to the Shah’s
palace. In due course people bring all their wealth/jewelry/etc and pile it in front of the
place. This ‘pile’ very quickly rises to the size of a small mountain! After this the Shah
now issues another proclamation that the threat of war has passed and that people who
have given/donated should come and take their possessions back. Everyone comes and
takes only what they had donated- nobody coveted other’s wealth. {A similar incident
occurs when the Ambassador from India questions the Shah as to why he does not tax
his subjects}.
Minocher Saheb had also asked Pak Magav Sarosh Saheb if he can be shown this place;
he was taken there and Minocher Saheb saw first hand the immense wealth present;
every single thing there was of a GIANT size. He asks whether he can take one of these
gold sovereigns to show people as proof. Pak Magav Sarosh Saheb replies “Minocher,
this wealth is neither yours nor mine; it is bequeathed to the Shah’s of Iran and is for
their use alone”.
There was magician in the court of Akbar who by using evil powers raised a huge platter
of gold in the sky in such a manner that it would reflect the Sun and therefore appear
like another Sun in the sky. He then claimed to the King and his subjects that he has
put forth another Sun in the sky as a means to demonstrate the power and greatness of
Islam. He then challenged people of other religious faiths to demonstrate the powers of
their faith by bringing it down by using their prayers; if they were successful then he
would accept that their religion was superior to Islam and vice-versa. A few Hindus and
Christians did try to accomplish this task but failed completely. Meanwhile he kept
poisoning the ears of King Akbar to ask these Zarathushtis who lived in Navsari and who
Akbar was tolerant toward, to try to demonstrate the power of their religion which they
claim is so great.
So Akbar sends for a representative from the Zarathushti community to come forward.
Dastur Meherjirana of Navsari was a very pious and highly respected Dastur of that era
and was chosen by the community to take up this matter. At this exact point in time he
comes in contact with Dastur Azar Kayvaan who advises him to take up this challenge
and offers to guide him in this endeavor so that he will achieve complete success
(notwithstanding which the community would face the wrath of the King).
Dastur Azar Kayvaan was an Abed Saheb from Koh-e-Demavand who sensed that a great
calamity was to befall upon the Zarathushti community in India and wanted to help the
community overcome it. He requests Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb to grant him
permission to leave Baaten in order for him to accomplish this task. At first Pak
Saroshavarez Saheb refuses saying that whatever happens is by the will of Allmighty.
However Dastur Azar Kayvaan is still resolute in his belief and appeals to Pak
Saroshavarez Saheb again. Pak Saroshavarez Saheb did not grant him permission to leave
Baaten with the provisio that if he chooses to leave, he will not be able to return back to
Baaten; Dastur Azar Kayvaan decides to leave Baaten nevertheless. (Rule: Entry and exit
from Baaten is only granted by the wish of Pak Saroshavarez Saheb)
Dastur Azar Kayvaan then trains Meherjirana regarding ceremony to be performed and
some special Avesta Manthra to be recited to accomplish this task.
All during this time Dastur Azar Kayvaan is known and visible only to Meherjirana
alone and nobody else.
A day is then selected to perform the ceremony. Meherjirana starts by offering
sukhar/loban on the fire and proceeds with the prayers.
However much to his astonishment the golden disk in the sky does not fall as expected
but is only shaken. This is witnessed by all including Akbar who concedes that there is
some merit in giving this a second try. Meherjirana then inspects the material supplied
to him for the ceremony by the King’s men and finds that within the sukhar some naso
in the form of a ball of hair. He then shows this to Akbar as the reason why the prayers
were not effective as one would expect. The king offers to supply bodygaurds for safe
keeping the materials but Meherjirana prefers to use his own men and materials. The
second time the ceremony is performed the golden plate/disk falls to the ground. Akbar
is impressed beyond measure and acknowledges the greatness of the Zarathushti religion.
He awards Meherjirana a few villages around Navsari as a gift. Meherjirana is also made
one of the nine jewels (Nav Ratna) of Akbar’s court (the others are Birbal, Tansen, etc;
i.e., people who are unique in their field).
Dastur Azar Kayvan then serves Pak Iranshah Atash Behram at a phenomenal level. Pak
Iranshah Atash Behram then requests Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb on behalf of
Dastur Azar Kayvan that he should be allowed back into Baaten. Pak Saroshavarez
Marzban Saheb honours HIS request and Dastur Azar Kayvan then returns to Baaten.
Under the leadership of one Nairyosang Avval Abed Saheb from Koh-e-Demavand
whereby the word Avval means of the first grade, some 1305 spiritually advanced Iranian
men, women and children were chosen by Nairyosang Saheb and assembled at Paras
City. Each one was asked to recite Atash Niyaesh nine times on Holy Atash in their
homes and then bring a part of this fire to The Abed Saheb. He gathered all of these
fires and consecrated an Atash Adaran that was to be named as - Booland Khandanewala
Atash. A fire that continues to exist in Surat, Gujarat, India under new name of Goti
Adaran in pious memory of person who helped in housing of this fire.
Nairyosang Saheb now led our people to the mountain fortress of Dahz-e-Behman where
they all lived very happily for many years. Abed Sahebs are spiritually advanced and so
Nairyosang Saheb could help the people to live indefinitely. Also the path to the top of
the mountain could easily be held by just one person and so the Arabs could not do
anything other than to listen to the sound of our people making merry and having a
good time. This is after all our true nature in that we do like to have a drink, party and
enjoy ourselves.
The Arab chief sent a message of compromise and sensing the truth in this Nairyosang
Saheb led our people down the mountain to the plains. The enemy chief died soon
afterwards and his successor was a very hostile Arab filled with all manner of evil and
hatred towards Iranians. Pak Saroshavarez Marzban Saheb now instructed Nairyosang
Saheb to lead our people to India in order to preserve the faith. The Saheb then met
with an Arab merchant who owned a fleet of ships and made a bargain with the Arab to
buy his fleet in order to take our people to India in return for a huge sum of gold. As
downpayment the Arab took gold coins and placed them in his pocket. However once
far away from our people the Arab decided to keep the gold but betray The Iranians to
the Arab army looking to harm these free Iranians. At that very moment the gold coins
turned into ashes and so the Arab merchant went back to The Saheb to complain.
Nairyosang Saheb now told the Arab that his thoughts of treachery could be read and if
ever he did the same again he would see all of his Arab family killed before his very eyes.
The frightened Arab now promised to be good and so keep his part of the bargain. Of 11
ships 4 had men and boys, 6 the women and girls and one for The Saheb, priests and the
consecrated Atash Adaran for which The Boye ceremony was regularly performed. This
vessel was named Akebat-e-Iran thereby prognosticating our eventual return to Madar
Vatan Iran. When far out to sea it was found that on board of the ship carrying the Holy
Fire there was a priest's wife was pregnant of hardly two months whose pregnancy was
unfortunately aborted. To ensure that Boye was still performed Nairyosang Saheb and
Atash Padshah were elevated above the ship whilst the lady was transferred to another
ship.
After six months travel they landed at Div and the Saheb performed the religious
ceremony of Vadi that is not known in the world today to bring the help of Asho Sarosh
Yazad. The climatic conditions were not good and so after some 5 years with a new fleet
of Hindu ships they set sail but during the journey a huge storm arose and so The Saheb
told everyone to pray to Behram Yazad with the promise to consecrate a fire to Behram
Yazad, Lord of the seas and oceans on earth. When on returning homewards The Hindu
fleet encountered anothered storm whereupon by reciting “parsi taro thabaryo” with
full faith were able to reach ashore safely. So was born the ‘Parsi Taro Thabariyo’-
another legend of The Mazdayasni Zarathushtis of Iran.
On arriving at Sanjan in Gujarat, India, the King sent a message to our Saheb that his
land was too full of people through a vessel of milk filled to the brim. Sensing the
message Saheb placed his ring inside to show that we too could co-exist peacefully. On
going to the court and answering all questions in flawless Sanskrit through his Divine
powers The Saheb agreed to certain conditions for our people regarding the carrying of
weapons, marriage and so forth.
The King had one daughter and sadly one day she fell ill. No one could cure her but
Nairyosang Saheb told the King that he would cure his daughter and to have a servant go
and look where the milk had been thrown away. There they would find a white colored
plant out of which a juice was to be made and then given to the King's daughter. After 3
days she would be well enough to have a bath and on the fourth day sit with her father.
This all happened as predicted and the King offered to help our people in any way
possible. In fact such was his generosity that instead of just one village full of firewood,
the King actually gifted four more and gave us the use of his army to surround the site.
Thus on Adar Roj Adar Mah, i.e. the 24th November in the Fasli calendar the great Abed
Saheb from Koh-e-Demavand invited the most Holy Fire to descend through a ceremony
that included the creation of a storm so that lightning so generated would strike the
spear point held by The Saheb. Then to pass through his body into the other hand,
through the spatula and finally into a log of sandalwood that immediately burst into
flames. Afterwards the Saheb performed a Jashan and then told all of our people that
from now onwards this fire will respond to all of your prayers. The Saheb also said that
presently we are a community without a Motherland and Shah, so this sacred fire will be
called Pak Iranshah. The fire that descended was Aathro Ahurahe Mazdao Puthra
surrounded by Adar-e Minokarko Atash, that in turn when descending from our
heavens brought Khoreh of Behram Yazad.
Pak Iranshah Atash Behram is The Divine Embodiment of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda on
Earth and so the one and only Holy Fire that cannot be consecrated since the status of
this Holy Fire is far beyond the status of those who live/take birth on earth. As a gift to
King Jadirana for the services that he rendered, Pak Iranshah Atash Behram changed his
destiny such that a son was to be born to him, even though such was not in his present
destiny. Also one day an ancestor of his lineage would rule over the whole of Hindustan
in the time of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand.
Over the years Pak Iranshah Atash Behram was enthroned in various locations but
eventually kept permanently in Udvada, Gujarat. The other Atash Adaran from Iran
was enthroned in Surat and today in memory of the person who built the fire temple
there is known as Goti Adaran of Surat. The only consecrated fire to come out of Iran.
The ship that brought this Holy fire to India was called Akebat-e-Iran that means
RETURN TO IRAN.
The true Persians or Parsis did not therefore run away but on instructions from Koh-e-
Demavand went to India in order to preserve the religion and then when the time is
right get ready to return back to their true homeland - Maadar Vaatan Iran.
Of all fires Pak Iranshah Atash Behram is of the most Supreme grade, such that it is a
Divine Embodiment of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda on Earth and so why all members of our
community should come before Pak Iranshah Atash Behram as often as possible.
So from just a handful of followers in the beginning, those who considered themselves as
believers in the religious teachings coming from the most Holy Koh-e-Demavand, as
imparted by Minocher Saheb numbered some 7,750 by the time when Minocher Saheb
passed away on the 19th November 1975. Less than one year later on the 14th November
1976 members of The Pundol Group established a new consecrated fire temple of Atash
Adaran status in Udvada. More recently in Baroda, India during A.D. 2004 there was
another consecration ceremony for the establishment of Atash Adaran. Thus today our
followers can be counted in the tens of thousands and still increasing. As a result we are
the single largest Parsi group in the whole world with also an ever increasing level of
support from true Iranians since the vast majority of fundamental core values and beliefs
that we have and do follow are shared by so many of our co-religionists from Iran.
Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol Saheb was thus directly responsible for the religious
rejuvenation of our faith in The 20th Century that continues now and forever more until
advent of the final rejuvenator Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand. Of course it is true
to say that everything is by the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda but Minocher Saheb was
the messenger and so to The Saheb must go all of the respective credit. For in all truth
until Minocher Saheb came the people were leaderless and ignorant lacking in both faith
and understanding. Now there is faith, purpose and hope for the future free from
outside influence and prejudices. Furthermore we now have just One true
understanding of the faith, One knowledge of the faith and One practice of the faith
that is similar to that which was practiced and followed by our Parsi and Iranian
ancestors from the time of Sassanian Shahnshah Yazdegard. What we teach is therefore
not something new but simply that which over the years has been lost, forgotten or
simply mis-understood.
Before concluding upon the subject of Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol Saheb you should
note that he was not a one man band but in point of fact part of a group of few
spiritually advanced people that came from Koh-e-Demavand. So whilst we extol
Minocher Saheb never do we forget the others too that came and as in certain cases are
still with us to this day of 24th Novmber, 2005. Also over and beyond of everything
Minocher Saheb told us all that the utmost credit for the group and its continued
growth must be given to The Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol Atash Adaran-e-Iranshah
that acts as vazir/minister to the highest expression of Kingly Fire that is in truth a
Divine Embodiment of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda on Earth - Pak Iranshah Atash Behram.
There is a book entitled The Persians © (1975) Time Life Books, Inc. All rights reserved.
Fourth European English language printing (1978). Author being a non-Zarathushti
named Jim Hicks. We quote from Page Numbers 96/97 - "Scholars have not had an easy
time determining precisely what The Prophets original teachings were. The answers
must lie within the Avesta itself, and specifically in a group of hymns called the Gathas,
which Zoroaster is thought to have written down; the texts that Anquetil-Dupperon and
subsequent experts used for translation were finally recorded nearly a thousand years
after The Prophet lived and preached. During that interval the prayers quite certainly
underwent little change. But when they were at last committed to writing around the
Fourth Century A.D., it was in a language, called Avestan, that still defies complete
comprehension. What Anquetil - Dupperon pored over for a full decade continues to
confound scholars. The meaning of individual words is still in dispute - giving rise to
disagreement about entire concepts, etc."
Now let us consider Yashts in Roman Script with Translation by Tehmurasp Rustamji
Sethna (1976). At the end of this book of prayers is a concise explanation of the many
translations given inside the book, wherein the reasons for the discrepancies between
different scholarly translations are expounded upon. Please consider the following quote
in brief from Pages 442-3 -
"Of far greater importance is the re-interpretation of words. Inevitably there is a large
number of words in the Avesta whose meanings are unknown and a further large
number whose meanings are imperfectly known, and such unknown or imperfectly
known words are particularly numerous in the Gathas. If one proceeds to select suitable
extreme meanings for the known words one can translate Gathas (or for that fact any
ancient text that carried a sufficient number of unknown words) in any way one likes.
Our translations are certainly a bit different from the traditional translations of the
previous scholars but we feel they bring out the spirit of the religion clearly for the
young people to understand. No finality is claimed.
These translations are put up to scholars for scrutiny and correction. No rights are
reserved for publications. Only dictionary meanings are used. Each word was looked up
in the dictionary and its meanings written. At times the word was not found in the
dictionary and a word very near to it had to be found which enabled us to locate the
word. Sometimes meanings of compound words did not give convincing ideas. Such
words were split up and their meaning along with the meanings of the root words were
considered by adopting Prof. Pictets principles and fresh sentence made and if that gave
a good idea of the spirit of the religion that meaning was adopted".
When Asho Zarathushtra last came amongst us some 3,200,000 or so years ago He would
regularly travel all over the world to spread knowledge of The Mazdayasni Zarathushti
Din. Simultaneously Asho Zarathushtra was constantly destroying countless forces of
darkness and performing innumerable miracles. Of them one was performed at the river
Daiti when in the company of many followers they reached the bank of this river. With
no boats or bridge to cross over, Asho Zarathushtra asked everyone to walk through the
shallows as He did himself. Upon reaching the other side it was noticed that a small
child had been left behind and so Asho Zarathushtra walked back through the water,
picked up the child and then began the return journey. Now however to the amazement
of all the people watching, the waters of the river rose to reach The Paighambar Saheb’s
ankles. Further on the water reached His knees, then the waist and finally His shoulders
before He emerged with the child. Asho Zarathushtra then explained to His followers
that in this age before the coming of the next global flooding of the planet, our religion
was destined to decline on 4 occasions. Of them all the first period of decline would be
the very worst and then there would come the first of 4 successive Rainidar Sahebs to
rejuvenate The Din and bring everything back to as it was in the past. The first Rainidar
Saheb to emerge from Koh-e-Demavand to be Shah Behram Varjavand, followed by
Hoshedar Baami, then Hoshedar Mah and finally Soshyos Saheb.
Millions of years have passed by since that episode at the river Daiti and then in known
history we came to this first period of decline that was ordained to be the very worst. Yet
still there was enough of the faith left to inspire the masses of our people to follow their
ancient traditions and customs. Then once Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol Saheb came
on the scene hope turned into faith and now the whole community has an opportunity
to both learn and then await the return of all that was lost to us previously.
By the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda Asho Zarathushtra periodically ordains an Asho
Ravaan from the top most region of Garothman Behest, to come and show us all the way
in the form of a Rainidar Saheb. By virtue of his Asho Ravaan the Rainidar Saheb has
full knowledge of The Avesta, our religion, the past, present and future as well as the
power to make miracles at will, by the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda. Then when you
add to this a divine association with Koh-e-Demavand you have a human being of
unsurpassed power, love, faith and compassion. The word Rainidar means One who
comes to show the way. However we do not live in normal times when such a Saheb
appears in Iran, since it was the peoples and land of India to whom we owe our present
good fortune. Being so close to many of our higher ideals and good points they showed
us religious tolerance, compassion and mercy. They even helped us in many ventures
and so to them we owe an immense debt of gratitude that can only be repaid by The
100th Rainidar Saheb Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand coming to first of all making
India like Heaven on Earth.
As mentioned above the masses of our people were first told of the coming advent of
Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand through performance of a miracle by our beloved
Paighambar Saheb Asho Zarathushtra. Then in the past through the succession of 98
Rainidar Sahebs to more recent time of the 99th Rainidar Saheb Dastoor Adarbad
Marespand Saheb, who produced the smaller version of The Khordeh Avesta that to this
day is still our primary book of prayers. When challenged as to his right to make such
changes and also show our people the way, the Saheb allowed hot molten copper to be
poured over his body with no ill effects happening at all.
Nature which is another word for The Divine has already begun preparing the way
ahead for Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand through Adar-e-Frah. A most divine and
holy fire that for more than 100 years has been appearing to the pious in Iran. The fire is
shaped like a ball and if you offer sandalwood then this fire will accept same and yet not
burn your outstretched hand. Just to see this fire is a blessing of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda
that shall continue to come down into Iran until the reign of Shahnshah Shah Behram
Varjavand actually begins.
Finally moving closer to recent history we have in living memory the advent of
Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol Saheb and that group of others who as Minocher Saheb’s
disciples were also able to come and show us the way. Today it is the Astrologer Supreme
in form of our Godrej Saheb-the son of Minocher Saheb.
As the years of this 21st Century progress the conflicts that have their roots in the Middle
East shall spread to ultimately become another world wide war. Although the Nations of
the West and their respective allies hold the upper hand in ultimate fire power, through
obtainment of weapons of mass destruction all parties involved shall inflict grievious
losses. Simultaneously within the first half of this Century the Earth as a whole shall be
afflicted by some catastrophic calamities of nature. The North American continent for
instance is destined to see both eastern and western sea boards suffer cataclysmic
devastation such that the entire land mass is estimated to reduce by some 50%. At the
same time many countries like England shall continue to experience ever rising social
and economic problems, that over time lead many of our people to the conclusion that
it is just not safe to live therein anymore. Just as the Parsis living in India, see immense
changes for the better from the middle to late 2007 onwards, as the whole country
begins to enjoy some serious economic growth and prosperity. Inevitably therefore with
many of the countries in which the masses of our people moved to for economic and
social reasons now falling apart/being destroyed, the sanctuary that is India shall begin to
look ever more a much nicer place in which to live. The more so, since as you shall read
further below, The Titans of our Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din come to India in the not
too distant future. Americans have long since been aware of the problems facing their
eastern and western sea boards just as the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East
and climatic catastrophes are not so much news but a seemingly inevitable consequence
of our being here on Earth. Our beloved Maadar Vaatan Iran is also destined to suffer
most grieviously through a series of natural disasters with massive loss of life. In point of
fact even India to which so many of our people shall move into in order to seek their
sanctuary is destined to suffer two specific localized conflicts. The first concerns the
replacement of the democratically elected parliament by a people’s movement to support
the return of Hindu Monarchy. This Hindu King to be a descendant of the late Jadi
Rana of Gujarat, who for helping us when Pak Iranshah Atash Padshah was enthroned,
was blessed such that in the future a descendant of his family is to rule over the whole of
Hindustan, as India shall come to be known. The second, and more contentious, a
conflict shall arise out of the creation of a Brahmin temple from which all untouchables
are banned, to be established just north of Mumbai which leads to all out inter caste
warfare.
Into this crisis there shall come from the holy mountain of Demavand the 7 foot 2 inch
tall Saheb-e-Khaas and his 4 spiritually advanced disciples. Having followed the route
previously taken by Parsis when they left Iran for India, Saheb-e-Khaas shall enter the
war zone where the Brahmin temple is sited at Varjehswari (near Mumbai). After
performance of many great miracles and much serious religious discussions, Saheb-e-
Khaas shall bring about a lasting peace. Saheb-e-Khaas shall be performing all manner of
miracles. One involves establishing Fasli Aalat through a young priest (Naavar) who
upon finishing a Yajashne ceremony will raise the water of the well at Dadyseth Atash
Behram such that it floods the entire compound. To further convince the non-beleievers
he shall go to the harbour in Mumbai (Gateway of India) and after reciting Kshnaothra
Ahurahe Mazdao on a handful of sea water pour it back into the sea, whereupon the sea,
which was totally calm, will now rise to such a magnitude that all of Mumbai will be
flooded and yet not kill even one single rat. He then makes the waters recede in a similar
manner. By the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda beside every major Mazdayasni
Zarathushti religious site there exists a much smaller version of the divine hidden realm
of Koh-e-Demavand. So as final proof to the few remaining skeptics from within of our
faith, Saheb-e-Khaas shall reveal to our people in Udvada the respective secret realm
close to Pak Iranshah Atash Behram in which there live many spiritually advanced
Mazdayasni Zarathushtis. After this in the few short years left before the coming advent
of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand, Saheb-e-Khaas shall continue the religious
rejuvenation begun by the late most respected Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol Saheb.
Then on a day known only to Pak Dadar Ahuramazda and the higher forces of HIS Din,
the 100th Rainidar Saheb Shah-ra-Shah Shah Behram Varjavand will appear in New
Delhi with a large retinue of spiritually advanced Sahebs from the holy Mt. Demavand.
Just by his presence barren land will become fertile. Nature shall sing and people of all
faiths be made full of joy and laughter. Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand will raise the
dead, heal the sick and perform all manner of miracles. For on his declaration of
absolute divine rule over Hindustan the King of India will order his imprisonment.
After his miraculous emergence from the lowest dungeons of the Red Fort into the sky
above Delhi as witnessed by millions, Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand will accept the
King of Hindustan’s abdication in his favour. On the day of coronation Shahnshah Shah
Behram Varjavand will miraculously maintain the midday Sun for a period of 24 hours
over Delhi. Then Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand will allow the Hindu King to once
more ascend to the throne of Hindustan.
In the years leading up to the events mentioned above both Iran and India shall choose
to remain neutral. Then with Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand established as ruler
over India, Shah Saheb will now lay claim to rulership of Iran. It is now that thousands
of spiritually advanced Sahebs and Banus shall leave Koh-e-Demavand and go to the
masses of true Aryan Iranians to win them over. So by the grace of Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda the national religion of Iran shall once again be The Mazdayasni
Zarathushti Din. Just as the red rose becomes our most prestigious symbol being chosen
as it was so long ago by Asho Zarathushtra. Then when the time is right Shahnshah Shah
Behram Varjavand will make a declaration to the effect that by the grace of Pak Dadar
Ahuramazda he has been granted divine rule over the whole world to establish Kingship
and show everyone on Earth the way to live religiously and in harmony with nature. The
western nations will oppose this declaration and in conjunction with their allies dispatch
a vast armada against India. This force shall be like a straw in the wind when compared
to the vast spiritual powers of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand. So with no loss of
life/bloodshed, the nations of the west along with their respective allies, shall submit to
rulership by Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand.
Sometime in this era, Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand is destined to introduce
knowledge of solar power, such that through this cheap, plentiful and clean source of
energy, our planetary dependence on fossil fuels can be over. For by using oil we have
made many parts of the earth barren where once there was fertility since oil is the life
blood of the planet. Science shall therefore change overnight and new technologies
evolve to bring many superb benefits to humanity.
Then Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand will create a League of 108 Nations to have
their own headquarters in Mumbai, which is ordained to be the new capital city of
Hindustan. Each nation of course to have a new ruling Monarch appointed by
Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand himself. In Iran Takht-e-Jamsheed will be brought
back to its former glories and the palace of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand will be
established wherein, among other wonders, are 108 special rooms designed to equate to
the climes of the respective 108 nations.
Before going back to Iran and using the same ship (Akebat-e-Iran) that brought holy fire
and priests to India, Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand shall go to Udvada and invite
Pak Iranshah Atash Behram to come to Iran. At that time Pak Saroshavarez Marzban
Saheb Leader of The Pak Magav Anjuman of Koh-e-Demavand shall also come to the
fire temple. Therein some 100 or so most fortunate members of our community shall be
praying and then there shall unfold a most wondrous miracle such that The Pak
Iranshah Atash Behram fire temple blazes as if many thousands of Suns have just
descended therein.
The coming advent of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand is however but the beginning
and NOT the end of the story, because there is so much work to do. People from all
walks of life shall be chosen to do divine work and so help make the planet safer, cleaner
and a more environmentally friendly place in which to live. This will also be a Golden
age of religion and spiritual enlightenment as finally the masses of our people come to
realize that there is just one faith, one understanding and one practice of the religion, no
matter where they live. Of course by the time Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand comes
most undoubtedly a good number of us shall have passed away. Please do not be sad or
despair for by the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda every man, woman and child that
wishes to see Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand and who has kept faith in the religious
teachings imparted by Minocher Nusserwanji Pundol Saheb, shall be given one extra
lifetime during the reign of Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand.
Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand’s dynasty is destined to rule for some 500 years and
by the end of that time the world wide population of Mazdayasni Zarathushtis shall
number in the region of 720,000,000. The Empire itself shall be huge with The Caspian
Sea being at its heart. Then there shall come into Iran a descendant of the Sassanian
Shahnshah Yazdegard to rule The Empire for many thousands of years to come. Finally
in the 6/700,000 years or so left before coming advent of the next global flood, as
predicted our religion shall fall into decline on three more occasions. Rejuvenation will
then occur at the appropriate times through coming advent of Hoshedar Baami, then
Hoshedar Mah and finally Soshyos Saheb who comes just before the beginning of the
next deluge.
For millions of years Iranians have lived with knowledge of the coming advent of
Shahnshah Shah Behram Varjavand and now in the not too distant future this great
Rainidar Saheb shall finally be with us. Tragically with the fall and decline of our
Mazdayasni Zarathushti Din, much of the proofs of the coming advent of Shahnshah
Shah Behram Varjavand fell to those who came to show us the way. But through the
Jamaspi book of predictions and Astrology which is a science and indeed makes up one
of the 21 Noosks in its own right, it is also possible to be shown the way. The predictions
contained in The Shah Behram are but a minute fraction of the true proportion of
events destined to happen by the grace of Pak Dadar Ahuramazda.
