Safety Glasses Requirement, Proper Behavior and

Picture Release Signature Sheet
Each student is required to wear eye protection anytime work is being done in the classroom or
shop area. Safety glasses are a must and can be purchased in the Technology Education rooms
for $2.50 or purchased at any local store in town (examples: Menards, Fleet Fann, Franks
Hardware, Lowe's etc). It is the responsibility of the student to provide acceptable safety
glasses/goggles and wear them whenever required.

Appropriate behavior is especially important in technology education classes because of

possible student injury or damage of equipment. Any conduct of mine which endangers the
health, safety, comfort or prope1ty of others, impedes the opportunity of me and others to learn
is unlawful, disrespectful, and violates classroom rules will not be tolerated. Examples of
unacceptable behavior are: fighting, physical of verbal harassment, running, vandalism,
throwing or propelling objects, class disruption, stealing and disrespectful behavior. The
consequences for exhibiting inappropriate behavior may be removal from class.
