• POSITIVE STATEMENT + POSITIVE REPLY QUESTION
Jane: Katy is going to a concert.
Peter: Is she?
Jane: I´m going to a concert.
Peter: Are you?
Jane: Katy and I are going to a concert.
Peter: Are you?
• NEGATIVE STATEMENT + NEGATIVE REPLY QUESTION
Jane: Beyoncé hasn´t played here before
Peter: Hasn´t she?
Jane: I didn´t go to the movies.
Peter: Didn´t you?
Jane: Tom doesn´t like horror movies.
Peter: Doesn´t he?
Jane: I’ve never been to London.
Peter: haven´t you?

Jane: Nobody said a word about the whole thing.

Peter: didn´t they?

Jane: I wasn’t surprised when she failed the exam
