God of Grace,
We open our hearts, minds and souls to worship You. Thank you that
today we dwell in your kingdom and live in your presence. Thank you for this
wonderful morning that You have gathered us together for the Moving up and
Graduation Ceremony of the Grade 6 and 10. Today Lord, we bring ourselves
to You, lead us in Your path of righteousness and love. Guard us and guide us
through the ups and downs that will shadow our path. Bind our heart to the
truth of Your Word, keep us under the shadow of Your wing and may we move
out into life with a scriptural foundation that will not be shaken.
We ask that you walk with us on our next journey. We ask that you hold
our hearts in your hands. Protect us from hatred. Bless us with the
opportunity to show others the great love you have shown us. We know that
this time we had together will only be the beginning of a long journey for us.
We pray that the time we had today has planted a seed of faith in each of us.
Please fill our lives with vast opportunities for that seed to grow. We ask these
through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
