The Chaplet of Divine Mercy

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
 You died, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy
opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the
whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

 O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for
us, I trust in You!

 Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

 Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is
the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of
our death, Amen.
The Nicene Creed
 I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things
visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true
God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were
made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy
Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was
crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on
the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is
seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living
and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord,
the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and
the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in
one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of
sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to
come. Amen.
o Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord,
Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

o For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (x10)

Note: Repeat this pattern four times.

For each decade: begin with the “Eternal Father” prayer, and then pray, “For the sake” ten times.
After five decades, pray for mercy.

 Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (x3)

 Let us pray: Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look
kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become
despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
THE HOLY CROSS PRAYER

Oh lord almighty! You have suffered death at the cross for our sins. Oh holy
cross of Jesus! Be our true light. Oh holy cross of Jesus! Fill our soul with good
thoughts. Oh holy cross! Help us in our salvation. Oh holy cross! Safeguard us
against unholy thoughts and worldly dangers that we may worship the holy cross
of Jesus of Nazareth crucified. Have pity on us. Oh holy cross of Jesus! Be our
hope. Oh holy cross have mercy on us forever and ever. Amen.
In honor of the precious blood of Jesus and his fearful death and resurrection
and his glorification which leads to everlasting life. As true as Jesus is born on
Christmas and crucified on good Friday. As true as St. Joseph and Nicodemus
took Jesus down from the cross. As true as Jesus ascended into heaven. May he
preserve us from our enemies both visible and invisible forever and ever. Amen.
Lord almighty, into your hands we give our soul and our body. Oh lord Jesus!
Grant us strength to bear the cross as yourself. Teach us to bear it with great
humility all the trials that the blessed virgin may fill us with the holy spirit.
Preserve our soul and lead it to life everlasting. Amen.
PADRE PIO’S PRAYER TO JESUS

Oh, my Jesus, give me Your strength when my weak

nature rebels against the distress and suffering of this
life of exile, and enable me to accept everything with
serenity and peace.
With my whole strength I cling to Your merits, Your
sufferings, Your expiation, and Your tears, so that I
may be able to cooperate with You in the work of
salvation.
Give me strength to fly from sin, the only cause of
Your agony, Your sweat of blood, and Your death.
Destroy in me all that displeases You and fill my heart
with the fire of Your holy love and all Your sufferings.
Clasp me tenderly, firmly, close to You that I may
never leave You alone in Your cruel Passion. I ask only
for a place of rest in Your Heart.
Amen
PADRE PIO’S PRAYER FOR TRUST AND CONFIDENCE IN GOD’S
MERCY

O Lord, we ask for a boundless confidence and trust in Your

divine mercy, and the courage to accept the crosses and
sufferings which bring immense goodness to our souls and that
of Your Church.
Help us to love You with a pure and contrite heart, and to
humble ourselves beneath Your cross, as we climb the
mountain of holiness, carrying our cross that leads to heavenly
glory.
May we receive You with great faith and love in Holy
Communion, and allow You to act in us as You desire for your
greater glory.
O Jesus, most adorable Heart and eternal fountain of Divine
Love, may our prayer find favor before the Divine Majesty of
Your heavenly Father.
The Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:

where there is hatred, let me sow love; where
there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt,
faith; where there is despair, hope; where
there is darkness, light; where there is
sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to
console, to be understood as to understand, to
be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we
receive, it is in pardoning that we are
pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born
to eternal life. Amen
Psalm 91 Prayer

Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your continued

presence with us. Thank You for Your Almighty
wings which cast an impenetrable shadow of
protection. Thank You for going before us; and
for covering us from behind. Thank You for
choosing to be in our midst, for lifting our
burdens, and for securing the Heavenly place
You have prepared for us. Your divine Words
bring so much hope and comfort to our hearts.
Remind us daily of Your strength, and may we
always see glimpses of Your infallible glory and
blessing as we seek Your face throughout our
days. Victory and salvation are found in You
alone, Lord. It is in the Mighty Name of Jesus
we pray, Amen.
In You Lord My God I put My Trust
By St. Pio of Pietrelcina

Lord God of my heart, You alone know and see

all my troubles. You alone are aware that all
my distress springs from my fear of losing You,
of offending You, from my fear of not loving
You as much as I should love and desire to love
You. If You, to whom everything is present and
who alone can see the future, know that it is
for Your greater glory and for my salvation
that I should remain in this state, then let it be
so. I don't want to escape from it. Give me the
strength to fight and to obtain the prize given
to strong souls.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel:

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in

battle. Be our protection against the
wickedness and snares of the devil. May God
rebuke him we humbly pray; and do Thou, O
Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of
God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits,
who prowl through the world seeking the ruin
of souls.

Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit. Amen.
