Notes:
The porcelain insulators must be manufactured by wet process. All the exposed surface of the porcelain insulators must be covered with
a vitrified compression type hard, smooth, glossy and impervious to moisture, which enable him, by means of washing of natural rain, easily
maintained free of dust or residual dirt caused by environmental pollution. The total surface of the insulator, with the exception of the area of burning,
must be glazed and free of imperfections. The porcelain used does not have to submit Porosities; shall be of high dielectric strength, high
1 mechanical resistance, chemically inert and high melting point.
Each insulator must be marked legibly and indelibly and durable in time with the following information as a minimum: name, symbol or logo that
identifies the manufacturer, year of manufacture and model of isolator.
2 The thread should be part of the same body of the isolator, by any concept can be an element engaged.
The certificates of conformity of product or of compliance with standards required in the present document, should be issued by accredited
certification bodies, documentation to be endorsed by the EFA.
3 In the case of the test reports, these must be issued by the accredited laboratories, documentation to be endorsed by the EFA. These
certificates and reports, will be a requirement that the bidders submit for procurement processes.
