Greetings!

The Mathematics Society of the Philippines invites our school to send our best students to
participate in the 26th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO)- the country’s oldest and the
most prestigious nationwide mathematics competition among junior high and senior high
school students (see attached) that will be held on December 2, 2023 at Iligan Institute and
Technology (IIT), Iligan CIty.

In lieu of this, Mathematics Department will be thirty eight (38) student-participants and four
(4) coaches for the qualifying stage level (heat round) of the said competition. In behalf of the
Mathematics Department, we would like to request your good office to permit us to use the I
Will Computer Lab, DCP 1 and DCP 2, BKD Hub, SBM, and Guidance Office for the whole day
training area.

We would like to ask for your permission to excuse the following students from their classes this week
starting November 28- December 1, 2023, @ 8:00-12:00 am, 1:00-4:30pm for the said competition.
