V. Rationale:
In consideration of the impact of COVID-19 and the limited ability of schools to
undertake normal activities a modified format of school support has been adopted, in
direct response to medical advice regarding social distancing requirements.
The theme: “Agham at Teknolohiya: Sandigan ng Kalusugan, Kabuhayan,

Kaayusan, at Kinabukasan”banner signifies the thrust of the teachers, students and the
entire science community to adapt to the new normal by harnessing the power of
innovation in the four thematic areas, namely: Kalusugan, Kabuhayan,
Kaayusan and Kinabukasan.
The purpose of the Science Week is to provide support to events that encourage
students to be informed, inspired and engaged in activities during Science Week 2020
and beyond.
