1. Introduction
The Poverty Reduction Network Organization (PRNO) in cooperation with Well Start Growth
Mind Organization (WSGO) is planning to implement the short term training for three day and
evaluated the progress and got building comments of the implementation which will guide the
next training program. The PRNO life skills and financial literacy training program is designed
to develop the capacity of livelihood entrepreneurs to gain adequate knowledge and skills related
to daily living including establishing a savings culture and managing their finances.it is
important to provide financial training to those who are involved in sustainable development, so
they have different mental, intellectual, age and life style backgrounds, and their lives may have
been challenges by various external and internal factors.
People living in poverty may live by various means of subsistence. But these life choices may
not be permanent. If they change their minds and engage in various form of income-generating
activities, they will be able to lead a more independent life.
On the contrary, if they rely solely on the support of relatives or neighbors or the government
assistance, they will not be able to improve their position in life and they will also be vulnerable
to extreme poverty.
To implement the life skill and financial literacy project, according to the gap observed from the
market survey, such as; lack of income generating, lack of self-confidence, poor managing self,
and unable to manage their own finances were found as the common challenges. Unfortunately,
often the poorest families are left to fend for themselves. The main purpose of this training
program is to help people change this situation by learning basic life skill and financial literacy.
Based on the feedback the training schedule will be set to 3 days
