Mandatory Documents to apply to Turkish Consulate General In Mumbai

1 : Visa Application Form (it should be filled manually by blue or black ink in block letters with 1 white
background photographs having size 2.5inch x 2.5inch.)
2 : Original Passport (Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Türkiye and should
have at least 2 full blank pages available in it). For passports which were not issued in the jurisdiction
areas of the Consulate General in Mumbai, local address proof must be submitted. (Only registered
leave and license agreement copy or registered agreement copy)
3 : 2 biometric photos with a white background that were taken within the last 6 months, depicting the
full face clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.
4 Covering letter Letter by the applicant mentioning the purpose and duration of stay, occupation and
expenses clause, accompanying persons if any, etc.

5 : Original Leave letter from employer/ covering letter in personal business letter head (if self-
employed) with Original authorized signatory, name, designation and original signature and
company seal
6 : Salary bank statement(Employee)for last 3 months.
Savıng Account(Employer) for last 3 months.
Original or copies sealed and sıgned by bank. Balance should be 1 lakh per person. Indian Bank
statement is required.
7 a) Salary Slips / Certificates of the last three months
b) GST or Company Registiration Copy with original notary and mantralaya/MEA stamp (for employer)
c) If Retired Retirement documents & income proof (original or copies attested), Last 3 month's
personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)
d) If Proprietor/Partner/Director: Applicant needs to provide proof in which applicant/company name
should be mentioned. Original notary and Mantralaya/MEA attestation needs to be done for each
applicant. Last 3 month's personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank)
e) If Student: Letter from the school/university & ID copy, Last 3 months' personal bank statement
(original or copies attested by bank)
f) If Freelancer: Contract documents & leave/cover letter as applicable, Last 3 months’ personal bank
statement (original or copies attested by bank).
d) If the applicant is financially supported: Letter from the sponsor and last 3 months' personal Indian
bank statement of the sponsor (original or copies attested by bank). If the sponsor lives abroad
Letter from the sponsor and sufficient personal bank statement should be attested by the relevant
authorities of the host country, and as final step documents must be certified by the İndian embassy
/ consulates at relevant residency country.
8 If applying for dependent visa: Passport copy of the person in Türkiye. Permanent residence/work
permit copy of the person in Turkey as applicable. Address proof of the person in Turkey. Last 3
months' bank statement of the person in Turkey. Last 3 months' bank statement of the applicant (not
applicable for spouses and children)
9 : Hotel reservation (if booked through agents/tour operator then details of applicants name, check-in
& check-out dates on letterhead with seal, signature, name & designation to be mentioned )
10 : Round trip flight ticket or confirmed reservation
11 : Travel Insurance is mandatory requirement which should fulfill requirements.(Medical Evacuation
and repatriation expenses/Personal accidental death/Personal liability/Daily allowance in
hospitalization cases)
▪ This plan should cover the insured for a minimum of Euro 30000
▪ The travel insurance should be at least for 3 months.The travel insurance should cover the
whole duration of stay in Türkiye.
▪ Travel insurance policy will be provided at the time of submission in Türkiye Visa
Application Centers.
12 : 1 Copies of Passport (first and last pages)
13 : Original Authorization Letter (required from the applicant and travel agent in case application is
submitted by a Representative or Travel Agent )

▪ Cover letter from both the parents is needed if minor is travelling alone or with parents.
* : ▪ Consent letter from both parents even if minor is travelling with both parents and Parents
passport copies need to be attached.
▪ NOC must be on 100Rs stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant & notarized, if
minor is travelling alone or with parents.
▪ Parents’ original passports need to be attached with minor applications if minor is
travelling alone or with parents.
▪ If father or mother lives abroad, he/she must provide NOC from Indian Embassy/
Consulates in the country of his/her residency. (NOC from Indian Embassy/ Consulates,
passport copy, a copy of resident card or visa belongs to his residency country even if minor
is travelling with both parents. (Original attested by Indian Embassy/ Consulates)
If the applicant is visiting a Turkish citizen/foreigner residing in Türkiye; If the applicant will visit a
* : Turkish citizen/foreigner residing in Türkiye, invitation letter including the name/passport no.of the
invitees and duration/purpose of stay; copy of ID/passport of the inviting person; permanent address
and contact no.of the inviting person.

REMARKS

All submitted documents must be current and complete (in English). The incompleteness of the documents submitted for the visa application
may cause the application to be rejected. The Consulate General has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary.
Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Consulate General reserves the right to refuse
application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances. All forms and documents must be prepared and
presented separately for each person (including family members or any group). The information provided here is a general guideline.
2.In principle, visa applications should be made:
-Minimum 10 working days prior to the date of departure (Mumbai)
-Minimum 12 working days prior to the date of departure (Other visa application centers under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General in
Mumbai)
3.Holders of Turkish visa are kindly requested to check their visa including the “duration of stay” and “period of validity” before their travel to
Türkiye.
