OUR FUTURE
What we learned from this class and how we can move forward
within Indigenous Education.

IGNORANCE
We started off with a
Eurocentric worldview on
education. We lacked the

knowledge to integrate
Indigenous ways of knowing
into the classroom.

QUESTIONING
After being exposed to
2 Indigenous stories, ways of
knowing, and histories, we
began to question our
previous learning in school. We
develoed more questions as
we uncovered more truths
relating to the Indigenous
community.

LEARNING
Listening to the
perspectives of knowledge
keepers with an open mind.

Cultivating a learning
mindset and a desire to
grow more.

ACKNOWLEDGING
4 Admitting to gaps in our
learning and education
system. The truth that we
have been taught and have
taught is incomplete.
